This was asked a couple months ago and scripts for claiming free Bitcoin 24/7 is illegal and it will only be a matter of time before they are caught. Also using scripts can be risky as you never know where the script comes from and they can steal your Bitcoin unless the person using the script creates it them self.
Well it's obvious. If it's not your own script then you must not use it at all for you never know how it's coded.
There are thousands of scripts on the internet that claim to help the user in some way but rather it is used the sacmmer to fetch critical data from users.
It's always better to user open source scripts or your own scritps.
Some time ago we have many cases as users claiming about lost of funds and some other problems just because of these scripts but still few members trying to use and losing constantly as they are very lazy about investigating all this.

Well, it was 5-6 years wgo, so I don't remember exactly. IIRC, there was about 20 ads per day available, each worth $0.002 if I'm not mistaken.
It was possible to rent referrals, but they were bots who didn't clicked many ads that you wouldn't reach ROI.

I see, they changed alot during your time. I joined in 2008 when the PTC boom happened.

Agreed, those referrals were likely bots and I got tired of rotating them. But then the forum was pretty heavily-censored so any criticism gets either removed or locked by the admin/ mods.

And today PTC is pretty much a waste of time like you said, unless they're part of a faucet or something which you could spend some minutes on. Rubbish rates nevertheless.

Oh, I remember when I used Neobux PTC. Without referrals you can get something like $0.02/day, so it's huge waste of time.
Yeah, people who earn less than $1 probably don't have smartphone and internet connection. But even if you live in very poor country, I think it's not worth to click faucets and PTC all day long, unless you have thousands of referrals. It's waste of time for minimal reward. If you have device with internet connection, there is so many better ways how can make money online.

Haha, you tested Neobux from the 21st century? Cheesy

Back then they used to pay 1 cent per ad, up to 2 cents. But their Premium membership was pretty steep at 75 bucks a year and your luck depended on the referrals because rotating them slowly added up to the expenses.

No, the chance of hitting 0 and 10,000 is half of the chance of hitting other numbers.
For determining the outcome, some calculations is made and a hex string is obtained and is converted to a decimal number. Then, the decimal number is divided by 429496.7295. As the output is a decimal number, it needs to be rounded off to an integer.
Since only decimal numbers between 9999.51 and 9999.99 can be rounded off to 10,000, the chance of hitting 10,000 is half of chance of hitting other numbers.
There's a same thing for zero. Only decimal numbers between 0 and 0.50 can be rounded off to zero.
Ah I see, thank you for that explanation, seriously, I had no idea this was the case! So you mean hitting 10,000 is actually, (roughly estimated as) 1 in 20,000 chance and not 1 in 10,000?

Exactly, the chance of hitting 10,000 is 1 in 20,000

The chance of hitting 0 = 0.005 %
The chance of hitting 1 = 0.01 %
The chance of hitting 2 = 0.01 %
....
....
....
The chance of hitting 9998 = 0.01 %
The chance of hitting 9999 = 0.01 %
The chance of hitting 10,000 = 0.005%

If I set myself to do freeroll 10 times a day, that means I still need about 6 years to run through 20k rolls. The $200 winners really are luckyWink

They are, indeed. But the good news is that anyone of us can be in their place. You know yourself that 20k rolls don't guarantee anything. It's basically an equivalent of 2 bets with 50% win chance, and we all know that 10+ reds in a row isn't that rare with this win chance. But, on the other hand, you can hit 10000 today, even if you made less than 100 rolls previously.

I personally rolled the JackPot number, 8888, two times already(and won 100k first time, and 10k the second), but I hardly played for the Jackpot more than 5k times.

It is worth it if the value of units gained goes up alot and that has been the history to BTC and a few other alt coins.   Most people didnt have the foresight to recognise it could be this much but a few might, most cases I've heard the person collected a balance and forgot about it for five years and came back to find BTC went from 100 to 10k hence nice amount even from free balance.

I get the idea. But What I'm saying is even freerolling is a better way of getting that very small amount of faucet for minimal work. PTC and captcha is time-consuming, and then you gotta deal with all that spam AND expose yourself to malware.

Everyone has a skill. Instead of spending hours a day collecting faucets, and possibly earning what, $1? Let's say you count in all the electricity costs, maybe you get $1 a day. I would rather go out there and get a job that pays me $1 an hour. I know there are people in the world who still earn below $1 a day but these guys don't have a device to connect to the internet for faucets.

If you go, do an honest job that teaches you new skills and experience, you could buy far more bitcoin than you would spending an entire day at faucets and PTC.

That is not entirely true. There is lots of evidence that ownership of smartphones is increasing even for low-income earners. Really interesting would it be if Freebitcoin could deliver some country-specific data to analyse if some people really use faucets as a Unconditional basic income.

If you earn below $1 a day, you're earning less than $30 a month. Smartphone penetration is getting to those considered living below poverty lines, but I'm talking here about seriously low earners -- way below poverty line. I've lived and worked in places where a camera isn't even known, people have $5 mobile phones, but have never seen a camera, let alone a smartphone. You can earn $800 in Malaysia and still be considered urban poor. The country I live in minimum wage (and also the welfare) is over 1600 euros.

Everything is relative...

You are underestimating how much time third world country people are willing to spend on making the bare minimum of the amounts. We are talking about nations where having 200 dollars a month makes you actually live like kings and that can be earned from online ways.

You missed the earlier thread of conversation... it's not about whether they're willing to or not, it's about access. The ones for whom the income would make sense, don't have the means to even have data or a device to do this.

There are actually still PTC now? I mean I get that click ad for reward models are still good for games or credit, but they've got to be worth crap now if paid in actual satoshi. Doing a freeroll on this site I get, I don't mind a 1 second click every now and then when I'm in the commute and remember, $200 chance at that and lotteries. But watching an ad on a spammy website to infect myself with all kinds of malware for very likely what a min payout on freeroll is? Absolutely not!

PTC and captacha give very minimal amounts but they are still worth for two types of people.

First those who do not have any skill, they can earn few satoashi by just clicking or solving the captcha.
Secondly, if they can hold the bitcoins they earned through this method, you never know how high bitcoin might go in the next bull run and then these small amount will turned into reasonable amounts when converted to dollar.

Definitely you can do many other stuff, you can do bounties and such, social media retweets with thousand accounts bla bla bla, but there are also people who are willing to do PTC and captcha as well, someone has to make that. This way they make like 4-5 bucks a day for working 12-16 hours a day on multiple PTC and captcha websites constantly without a decent break, I know 4-5 bucks a day sounds insanely low for such a high work but that money could mean the difference between starvation and survival for these people.

Hitting 00000 could be as challenging as hitting 10k honestly, that is equally rare to hit but the game is designed that way so that you are required to hit higher numbers and not lower and 00000 is the lowest you can get so you are technically doing something very rare but also you reached the worst possible bet ever Cheesy.

If you guys think 8888 or stuff like that are more plausible and you think you can take advantage of it, there is always gambling, plus while you are gambling there is so many thing going on as well, from free reward points to free tickets to increasing freeroll to getting more wagering amount later (with condition of rollover of course) and getting lambo tickets as well. So you can not just try to get 10k but you can take advantage of 00000 as well.

Yeah, every number should have an equal chance of being hit, I'm not saying I've hit 8888 or 0000 so I should go for it all the time. All I'm saying it I have freerolled probably less than 10,000 times, and that even if I did, I may still not see the magic number come up. Proof of this is I haven't even hit 9994 to 10000.

If I knew I could take advantage of 8888 I'd bet on Jackpot a lot;)

May I ask if there are people who are hitting the lucky number between 9998 - 9999 and the exact number 10000.
Yes, there are many people hit those amounts. Visit the link below to see posts some users have made to report winning 20 and 200 dollar.
Big wins at FreeBitco.in

Are there any ways to increase my probability win those amounts?
Since the game is provably fair, there is no way to change your chance of winning.
Every time you play the free roll or multiply game, some provably fair mathematical calculations is made to determine the outcome. These calculations can be verified and no one can change them.
