PTC and captacha give very minimal amounts but they are still worth for two types of people.
First those who do not have any skill, they can earn few satoashi by just clicking or solving the captcha.
Secondly, if they can hold the bitcoins they earned through this method, you never know how high bitcoin might go in the next bull run and then these small amount will turned into reasonable amounts when converted to dollar.
I get the idea. But What I'm saying is even freerolling is a better way of getting that very small amount of faucet for minimal work. PTC and captcha is time-consuming, and then you gotta deal with all that spam AND expose yourself to malware.
Everyone has a skill. Instead of spending hours a day collecting faucets, and possibly earning what, $1? Let's say you count in all the electricity costs, maybe you get $1 a day. I would rather go out there and get a job that pays me $1 an hour. I know there are people in the world who still earn below $1 a day but these guys don't have a device to connect to the internet for faucets.
If you go, do an honest job that teaches you new skills and experience, you could buy far more bitcoin than you would spending an entire day at faucets and PTC.
