So i still cannot understand if this faucet is profitable.
I believe that those who are making profits are due to the referrals they share and not due to rolls. Am I right?
So I want to ask if you don't have any referrals is there a way to get some money from it?

It looks like the 5k people are winning this years bet, we knew that would happen weeks ago but we weren't sure if bitcoin would have a surge in price or not and it didn't, it stayed exactly the same for weeks and now we are finishing with under 7.5k (there is still some time) and considering they are not the top bet right now and people who wagered on 10k is the most wagered one, I am pretty confident that 5k people will get a good return on their bet, not only from the other small and not important many other bets but mainly from the 10k people who were right 6 months of the whole year but not at the end of the year which is sad for them and I can understand why they could be upset but that still gives the 5k people a lot of profit on their bet.

and this made my Sunday brighter.

Congratulations. I did thousands of rolls and never hit 8888, never hit 9993+ neither. (got a few 9986-9993) It is probably a better idea to not push your luck any further. Even though the amount you won is only $7 (which is still big money in some countries like Venezuela), it is still better than 0.  Wink

Yeah, it's better than zero not only in Venezuela. Smiley Regarding not pushing your luck further, you know, it's almost impossible to not make at least several dozens of bets the next day after such a luck. So I did just that. But of course you were right, no 8888 today. Smiley

I just hit the Jackpot on the MULTIPLY BTC game. Smiley

Wow, that's nice! I had a few 8,888 but didn't even bother to check the JP box.

I rarely play MULTIPLY BTC game, but when I do, I try not to forget to check the JP box. As you can see from my stats

overall I'm in profit from this enterprise. Smiley

The fact is that almost no one gamble for golden (Lambo) tickets. I expect a same wagering volume at freebitco even if there wasn't any Lambo.
In the previous lottery, there were 6 million tickets. Price of one ticket was 25,000 satoshi. So, total price of tickets was 0.00025*6,000,000= 1500 BTC.
Considering bitcoin's price to be 7,000 dollar, total price of tickets was 10,000,000 dollar while value of the prize was only 200,000 dollar. It means that the winner won only 2% of the pool.
Don't forget that there were additional ways to get golden tickets besides buying them. One of the (commonly used) way was to deposit a specific amount of BTC to freebitco.in. I don't know how many of those 6 mio. tickets were bought and how many were dropped "for free", would be crucial to know if you want to calculate the total prize pool. Maybe @TheQuin has those numbers?

>>>

I can confirm they can't manipulate the lottery draw. The drawing method is quite good and provably fair as they claim.

They don't need the House ID to win the prize. You will know it if you do some math.
I ticket cost 25k satoshi and with that 25000*5,954,089 = 1488.52225000 BTC

I'm not saying they are making that much profit(Number could be lying) but they can afford a Lambo giveaway easily with those stats.

The number isn't lying but we only sold 7554 tickets the rest were given away for wagering.

7554*0.00025000 = 1.88850000 BTC

Like FreeBitco.in here the fate of many people has changed One will lose and another will win This site has gained the trust of many people, especially for those who want to make bitcoin income with common sense.

But i would like to understand what you think that you ought to do for those that have just become zero in playing?

I just realized something, ~120 days left for the new contest, that means it has been 2 months since the last contest happened and that is true, time flies so fast. Just like the saying goes "minutes go slow, years go fast", such a true saying. While checking the new one, there was 6 million tickets for the last one and the current one is around 1.7 so far in 2 months, unless something major changes, the amount of attention seems around the same once again, maybe a bit less or a bit more but there is no "drastic" changes that we could point out to.

To me (and probably to freebitcoin as well) that means people liked the first one and actually wanted the second one, the second one wasn't around just because freebitcoin made some profits and wanted more, it is here because people wanted another one.

The fact is that almost no one gamble for golden (Lambo) tickets. I expect a same wagering volume at freebitco even if there wasn't any Lambo.

I know anyone can win the tickets with wagering. But 0.005 wagering = 0.00025 expected loss.

So, no one plays for golden tickets and big gamblers play even if there is no Lambo.

I can't explain why I was so confident that I'd hit it today, but I was. Really. It wasn't like 100% confidence, because I'd check a box which was way higher up here Smiley

In fact, with my balance at the time I could afford betting 50 times with 0.00012500 BTC, so, yeah, today I could win 1 BTC. Smiley But those are just fantasies, while in reality I still won a pretty good amount

Honestly gambling games are getting more wild now but if you ask me I would probably say an overhaul of the design could be a lot better than just adding a new game. They could add something as simple as plinko for example and be done with addition, they have betting now and they have lottery and they have lambo and they have rewards, affiliates, interest rates and many many other stuff, long story short they already have a lot of great stuff on the website.

However, the websites look has been basically the same for the past god knows how many years, I feel like maybe with a good designer and UX designer or whoever deals with these things, there could be a whole overhaul of the website from scratch, keep the features, everything same but change the looks of them all together for a prettier website.

Nah I don't think so. One of the big selling points about the site is how simple it really is, and how straightforward. You have first of all the freeroll. Then you have the lotteries and reward points that you get every roll.

Multiply is the dice. And lately you have the golden ticket and also the "sports" section.

Adding another plinko or crash as some suggest will make it more crowded, unless you start splitting off all those games into a casino section. I like the design. Don't see anything wrong with it.

In my opinion this question has mixed answers because as a regular user I’m very happy with the simple design, because I find everything with ease and would not like it to change. However a new user may not like the simple design and he may want a more colourful design, hence Freebitco will need to take a call on whether it wishes to revamp it’s site design or not.

Either way, the people who bet on $10,000 are going to win, unless the price goes below $7,500(then those who bet on $5,000 win). Or, if the price goes above $17,500, those who bet on $25k will win, but this is unlikely to happen. Although I would rather lose my bet on $10k, only to see BTC above $17,500 in the end of the year. Smiley

Idk, it's $7,422 currently. If it keeps staying below $7,500, those who bet on $5,000 are going to win. But it is not the end of the year yet. Let's hope we can see something above $10k in the upcoming week,  as a New Year present for us all. Smiley
It is just above $7200 now and not over $7500 yet, the bet will be very very close when the clock ticks, even if the price suddenly changes after my message and becomes $6500 or$ 9000 or whatever that means it was a sudden change and normally the price was always risky for the whole year.

I understand why people may vote on 5000 this year because there was a long time until April where the price was under 5 thousand and I understand why people who wanted to vote for $10k since it was closer to $10k for months as well but I don't understand people who bet on the huge difference ones. Like you might as well bet on bitcoin being a million each, why go for the unrealistic options when there is two options that are super close to each other even just few days before the betting closed.

There were a few of these contests and threads in various areas of Bitcointalk forum actually and going back to the Summer/Fall of 2019, most people assumed that BTC would either finish at $10K, $12.5K or $17K. Most people back then never expected they would see 4 figure BTC until it broke that $9100 support a few months back.

So it goes to show you how its difficult to predict bitcoins price in general. Take the beginning of January 2019 for example, people were expecting BTC to hit $2K or even 3 figures and look what happened instead.

Even 2 months ago, I was on the Deribit options website,

https://www.deribit.com/main#/options?tab=all

And there was a huge premium for the $11K-$12K call options expiring at the end of the year. Basically people were expecting at least $12K before year end. And last month people were expecting $8500 and now it looks like we will finish at $7500. Not bad, still double from last years price.

Over 4 days left now, its still too much time to call it as done but I reckon 5000 wins it.   Its in a box or range of regular possibilities with 7500 beyond that range.   Just yesterday it made a good run up attempt to clear that fence and it failed to do so at about 16:00 UTC it has a pin heading right up and back down with top price 7430.
A failed attempt upwards is most likely to resolve downwards, it can tire out the buyers.   This is mostly a short term take but I cant see the scenario on the horizon for it to act differently.   We could go back to Nov 22nd and say its gone sideways since, which can mean its outrun a negative trend but its not yet apparent it will make a break for 10k yet or even stay above 7500 for the purposes of this annual closing price.
