Oh okay... so it is normal that I'm getting half reward. Alright. Thanks.
uhm.. can I ask another question?
How did I get this status of getting half rewards? Was it actually due to my use of rewards points? (I was getting full rewards before I used rewards points). Also, how do I get back to full rewards status? Do I just use the site normally and I'd get to full rewards over the course of time? or do I stop visiting for a while?

We made some changes.

In simple terms, we had to halve the reward to make it unprofitable to run botnets but if you gamble, buy lottery tickets and/or keep a higher balance then it goes up back to the old level.
I don't think it was due to using RP but you'll get more value from them if you get back to full reward first.

Hi,

I know you don't want to give out all information about how the de- and increase of the rewards work, but I hope you can answer me a simple question towards this:
Is the amount of gambling or lottery tickes you have to buy somehow constrained to this ominous bonus that is mentiond in the box above the Free BTC payout table and says "Play MULTIPLY BTC or buy lottery tickets to increase your FREE BTC rewards by up to +0.00000475 BTC 0.0933% achieved towards the next +0.00000025 BTC bonus!"?
e.g. Do I have to reache 100% there to get the regular reward back?
I was woundering because there it also says that Multiply counts with a factor of 4 and lottery with a factor of 20.

Thanks in advance.

I was more thinking that micro payments and faucets goes hand in hand and I should have thought that faucet owners would

have looked into this. You have millions of users and loads of micro payments, so it is just normal to look for a technology

that would reduce your fees. They can still use their internal ledger, but the withdraws will be a lot cheaper... right? Well, I

thought I'd ask... no harm done in asking.  Wink  {Let's leave that for Freebitco.in Ver II }

You're absolutely right that it's the ideal fit. The point I was trying to make is it's not ready yet. Pursuer also makes a good point about it not being easy for beginners to use. That's why I'm watching with interest to see how things develop both in it being proven secure and stable and also simple easy to use application interfaces.

Now, I was thinking... Why has Freebitco.in not jumped

onto the Lightning Network yet?

The Lightning Network really isn't ready for enterprise use yet. It's still in the testing phase and even the protocol has limitations on how much you can fund a channel with because the developers don't want anyone to risk larger sums until it's proven secure.

I'm certainly watching what is going on with interest though.

Where is my ring of blades...
Now, I was thinking... Why has Freebitco.in not jumped onto the Lightning Network yet?

do you have a Lightning wallet, or an open channel already? do you know how to use it?
if no, then there is your answer!
if yes, then how many others do you think are the same as you? faucets (micro payments) is popular among beginners and they certainly aren't even familiar with Lightning Network yet let alone having a wallet for it.

So, Freebitco.in was my first real introduction to micro transactions. I even used it as a showcase example of what can be

done with global micro transactions in some of my presentations. Now, I was thinking... Why has Freebitco.in not jumped

onto the Lightning Network yet? If we believe that congestion on-chain should be transferred to off-chain tx's... then the LN

should be the next evolution in Faucets... right? It should be ideal for micro transactions or noooot?

Lightning Network is good for bigger transactions or withdrawals to one address to another address but to think that faucet need to use this Lightning Network is a little bit to high because for current time, they still can do everything so well just without this LN project. What I am scared of, if one day they apply LN on their processed withdrawals or any big transaction, then may be something bad will happen which may ruin their reputation until this day, we never know

LOTTERY ROUND 150
This round, the winner with the lowest number of tickets is #1 with 246 tickets.
He won 1.92400046 BTC.
Woah!

Congratulation with that lucky guy. I cant imagine hitting up 1.9 btc jackpot can get through with just 246 tickets. Imagine? Shocked Have seen some cost millions or hundreds thousand of tickets but still can able to get that honey pot. What a nasty prize and what a lucky player.

Congrats to the winner! This is an unimaginable luck to win 1.9 BTC with just 246 tickets. It would be nice if he/she appeared here sharing their story, but I understand that not all people know English good enough for that and also maybe not everyone wants to brag about their winnings. Anyway, I've just purchased 300 tickets for the next round. Let's see what happens. Smiley

positive thinking Betwrong Smiley I have to check my mail more often, maybe it was me with 246 tickets... wait wasn't me,damn Smiley

interestingly enough,2fa emails from freebitcoin are going to spam folder now
using gmail,no idea why is that

Yeah, Gmail is a real pain with that.

as for the changes, seems like I haven't gambled enough or had enough on my balance for it to go back to normal
wonder how much does one have to keep on his balance for it to go back to normal?

$50 is the amount that will make it go back to normal even if you never gamble or buy lottery tickets. If you do those things then it will be an amount less than $50.

In last few months its first result winner going with only 246 tickets and we have some more winners less then 500 tickets its good as now many others can hope for big prize from less lotteries congrats to winners and good luck for all others
In gambling world, everything is possible even you do have 10 tickets if its already your time or you are very extremely lucky then you will hit the jackpot. I'm little bit overwhelmed to get free tickets once again. This is somehow a motivational thing for me and to other players as well.

Ah, there it is. New accounts have full rewards for the first 100 rolls to help them build up a history and then the algorithm is applied to them.
Yes, I get it now. So yeah, i just gotta get to full rewards. Thank you so much!
