Are those lottery tickets is really on the high price right now? What I know is the lottery tickets cost only 1 satoshi which mean it is the cheapest tickets from any lottery that I met before.

If I'm not wrong these lottery ticket prices are fixed in USD so since we are buying these lottery tickets from BTC, the prices of each lottery depend on BTC prices. If BTC prices go high then you pay less BTC for each lottery ticket and if BTC prices go low then you need to pay more BTC to buy these lottery tickets.
Not exactly. With increasing BTC they lowered lottery ticket prices until it reached 1 Satoshi. When BTC price was near $20 000, price of lottery ticket was 1 Satoshi. But now Bitcoin price is lower 2x, but price of lottery ticket remains same.
Probably, if Bitcoin will start to rise again, Freebitco.in will have to consider making price of lottery ticket less than 1 satoshi (0.5 Satoshi). Otherwise, it will be to expensive to buy and there will be less interest in lottery.

What benefits shall accrue to me If I actually send my address to you please?

None.

Going into the site, Free bitco often is discovered to in most cases reduces my accrued bitcoin over time, as a result I have shun it for a while, thinking something is actually wrong with the site.

Not 100% sure what you mean but if you are referring to the base reward changing that is because it is fixed in USD value and varies with the exchange rate.

But with recent development, I hope it is still safe having this fair play?

Of course it is still fair.

I hope you are not investing all your savings into Freebitco.in, because that would simply be reckless. Yes, I also noticed that the Lottery is getting less support these days. People are losing interest over time, when they see nobody reporting that they won the Lottery or any of the smaller prizes on offer.

The only reason I still use the site, is the novelty of demonstrating micro transactions to new users.

Obviously always keep the biggest part of your hodl stash safely in an offline or hardware wallet. Only invest or deposit what you can afford to lose.

As for the lottery I think if you go back to times when the 1st prize was much larger, over 2 BTC I recall, you'll find at that time it was rough $4k - $5 range and now it regularly hit $9 - $10k range. People are buying fewer tickets because it is more expensive.

Are those lottery tickets is really on the high price right now? What I know is the lottery tickets cost only 1 satoshi which mean it is the cheapest tickets from any lottery that I met before. And to get this huge amount of btc is really hard, because of we never know who is the exactly buying it, all of we know is addresses there, winners are not posting anything here too. So what is the point of having that address on top 10 every week if there is no winners

So do you want to ask freebitcoin to share who are buying the tickets for each round and force all the winners to post their winning here in this forum? This is bitcoin world, we have the right to be anonymous. Simply winners who did not post their winning are those who want to keep it as a private thing.  No one post/confirm their winning does not mean there is no winners.

Agreed, but would you not think with the amount of winners <10 per round> over the years that has passed, that one or two of them would have turned to some public forum to announce their winnings? All winners get a email that points them to a "winner announcement" thread on this forum to report their winnings and to give proof.

Wetsuit - " Recently I have started asking users who win $20 and $200 at FreeBitco.in to start posting about their wins in the forum for a small reward in addition to their prize. " -- Does the Lottery winners also get the same request?

Seeing is believing as they say, right?

It is up to winners whether to post the proof or not.

Who said that there are no winners? Every week 10 people are winning but we don't know them that's all.

I wasn't saying they are expensive, just that as BTC price has increased the value of the prizes has actually increased in USD terms not decreased as the person I was answering was suggesting.

I can remember at least 3 winners of the lottery have posted about it on the forum.

The interest they pay is higher than what I get from my bank lol (Belgium). I transfer all my funds from blockchain.info, faucethub, coinpot to freebitco.in just for the interest.
It seems that the lottery for the moment is less popular, giving the amount of tickets. A couple of weeks ago it was over 400 millions, last 2 weeks "only" +/- 265 million, chances are getting higher to win  Grin.

If you might have read in many investment articles or suggestion from investment experts saying that never keep your funds in any single product but in this case any single site. That advice is very true so shouldn't move all your funds to single wallet. If bitcoin prices goes up again and if you can't access your funds immediately for some reason then you will regrate for your mistake.

You are 100% right. But, I only possess a small amount of bitcoin and I prefer to centralise all these small amounts at 1 site. I do have some funds also in a couple of exchanges, which I don't touch.

Again you're making a mistake by keeping coins in exchanges because you should be seeing there are so many members here are complaining about their exchange accounts are suspending or not allowing them to withdraw funds or exchanges are hacked. If you're not an active trader then you shouldn't store your coins in exchanges instead send them to any of your desktop wallets.

Thanks for the advice, I am still quite new to the bitcoin world, so slowly learning everything  Smiley. I will probably look into Electrum, seems the most interesting wallet for me. I only have <0.1 BTC, so I don't think I need hardware wallets such as Trezor.

I think Electrum wallet will work for your need. These hardware wallets useful only for regular traders and if you want to access your coins from different locations. For just a normal investors any desktop or paper wallets will be a good option. No need to waste your money in buying hardware wallet.

Just curious. How many people have deposited a large amount into Freebitco.in and are using the daily interest on that money to buy Lottery tickets and to play the Multiplay BTC option?

Their daily interest is not that attractive to risk my bitcoin to store in online site. So I never deposit money in this site but got an account and claim few times in a week to buy lottery tickets.

without having to solve even one Captcha.

I never deposited money into this site but still, my account doesn't show me captcha to log in. Don't know the exact reason but guessing that I had few very active referrals long back and I used to earn some Santoshi from those referrals every week. I used those free coins to play their hi-low game but not now.
I don't think there is any risk in depositing money in freebitcoins, it's the best site that gives interest and is legit so one can freely deposit money and plus they even credit account with fork as and when ever they happen. I don't buy lottery tickets never got lucky buying them lol. As per the captcha is concerned it's shit and sometimes it disappears, google captcha sucks and it should be replaced, i had suggested them alternate captcha so they could even monetize them and no i'm not even referring to solvemedia. The hi lo game people win it on luck i never play big on it.

As of now they may not be having any intention to scam anyone but in future anything can happen. There are few examples already we have seen like big exchanges closed suddenly and many people lost their money. So my take is I don't want to risk my money just for a small percentage of profit. But it is up to individual to make their final decision.

Oh well, $200 is not a Bank breaker for some   Roll Eyes people and the site is sitting on a cash cow at the moment, so I doubt that it will close down for a few thousand dollars.   Grin

I am also not attracted by the low interest, but rather that I get some interest on bitcoins that would have been getting zero interest in a paper wallet and not having to convert back to fiat to get a higher interest.

The possibility to hit the Jackpot without having to spend my own coins is also a very attractive option. ^smile^

I tried out the in browser CPU miner but its more then a little lacking vs a proper executable hashing program on the desktop.      I dont think its even 10% of what the cpu is capable of doing, is that a limitation of the browser language used, too high level using an interpreter?  or its just not well adapted to each CPU or well optimised.   Bit of a shame as that would be useful to have open on an office pc in work, lots of people would probably use it ?

But thanks for the free rolls anyhow

There is a bit of inefficiency in using JavaScript and also Coinhive takes a cut of the profits. I'm not sure where you get the 10% number from as it's nowhere near. It is a bit more efficient to use a dedicated mining program and if you're trying to build a CPU mining farm this isn't the program you would use. But that is isn't what this is for. If you were mining with a single CPU elsewhere you would probably wait months before getting to the minimum withdrawal whereas this is giving a little top up to what you already get at freebitco.in. Think of it as a few extra satoshi bonus courtesy of your CPU rather than an alternative to mining elsewhere.

LOTTERY ROUND 139
This round, the winner with the lowest number of tickets is #8 with 328 tickets.
#1 won 0.94627613 BTC with 1,572 tickets.

I find it astonishing how lucky some of them are! Once bought a lot of tickets, but never won anything: - (
No one can predict when will the luck will come on their way, unless there's some leak from the site which can change the real result, but with the type of lottery I'm not sure if how this site taking over, but generally when reading from page to page it's shows that those who win really didn't purchased a lots
of ticket but luck itself bring them the jackpot, maybe we just need to continue chasing it and if time for us to win then result will be favored in our side
good luck and maybe someday you will replied here and share your blessing.

Lottery is provably fair, winners drawing is all explained on the site and they publish on twitter prior to the results the string to verify they didn't trick the results.
I don't buy tickets, only hoping I'll get lucky one day with the free tickets and those I win at hi lo game.

Is it only me or favicon has changed for everybody?
Looks like a tiny doge right? Does this mean something?
Was thinking its somehow connected with recent rumours about multi-coin support.
Judging from the post below, this is the source of those gossips. Nothing exciting as it turns out.

For me it was the bitcoin logo but now it really looks as the dodge logo! strange :\

It's been looking a bit dogey for a week or so!

As to the question if it means something, there is already a sister site freedoge.co.in so I think it means they messed up the favicon during an update.
