Unmoderated chatbox becomes a shitbox in a matter of hours full of beggars and pajeets. Therefore they should hire a couple of moderators. This doesn't sound like a solution to a problem rather another layer of problems.

there is always downside to anything. for example the Chatbox idea that I started above can become a place for beggars who keep asking for tips, spammers who spam their ref link to any site,... like other sites but it is always about pros and cons. while there are these downsides, there are also benefits of adding such options.
the fact that people will have a place to talk to each other and stay on the site and continue gambling is one. another is asking questions that one might have like when encountering an issue.
the chatbox can also be used to do random airdrops to users, they can be satoshis, or it can be points, or lottery tickets as reward to create incentive for people to stay active on the site and make more bets.

this site in serious need of a ticket system with some support staff like any other gambling site. long ago when freebitco.in was only a faucet the current system with just an Email in the FAQ section would have been enough but now it is a full gambling site with dice, lottery and even an investment section and as the options grow, the user base grows with it and with all of that their problems will also grow in number.
so users require an easy way of contacting support and a support team which gets their problems solved fast.
maybe even a chatbox is not a bad idea either.

That way you can motivate them to use the faucet more and even work out a strategy where you give them a higher percentage of their referral commision back when they use the faucet and gambling more.
It should be configured that you would only be able to send messages to the admins and support staff and to your referrals when they are online. This is beneficial for the site, because it will encourage people to use the site more.
Chat box is a nice idea but it's a pain for the mod to look after it and answer each and every thing, and people will crib about it if they don't get a answer, plus people will spam it with their bitcoins addresses seeking free money or facets lol. I would suggest Tawk software easy, simple and effective. Though I would advise caution as people would flood it with shit requests and it'll be taken off but it's the owners call.
Not if it is implemented correctly. Assign mods to moderate it and temporary ban people that misuse it. If you configure it in the way that I suggested, then other people will not be annoyed by anyone else, because they will not see their comments.
A open Chatbox where millions on users communicate simultaneously, will be a nightmare to mod.
I would like to motivate my referral network and be able to see when they are logged in, even if I can just send them a little text message to thank them for my free coins.

PM from newbies is disabled by default here on forum, wetsuit and myfe must enable it to be able to receive PM(s) from newbies, i'm pretty sure if they enable it, they'll receive tons of PM(s) and that would be messy i guess. as the above user said you need to have a little patience, it'll all be fixed. There are so many users who have halved prizes and wetsuit have to fix it for every user manually. You need for some patience before it will be fixed.

Although I agree on the second part, I don’t agree on the first one. The difference between people who make EV+ movements and those making EV- movements is that the former make long-term money from gambling, whereas the latter lose money long-term.

You can played it that way by keep getting their tickets just from their faucet games which is really easy to do. But tof course it has very low chance to win the amount. It is just like wasting your time there to get that. But it does not mean you can't get the prize as well, you just need some luck to play this kind of game. Let assume it this way, you get 10k tickets from the faucet but total tickets is around 100millon which is you only have 0.01% chance to win the first prize

I never force anyone to follow my recommendation but shared what I feel it is right.
Which you are perfectly entitled to do, as I am to counter it.
Taking a long shot bet is a lot of fun to many people. I used to work with some guys that always bet £1 on 6 horse accumulators and the one and only occasion they won a couple of grand we had a great party. That's what buying lotto tickets is and I don't see any sense in advising people not to do it.

Sure, but each to their own. I don't generally buy lottery tickets either, as in here or land-based ones like Euromillions, but I know people that do and they get some enjoyment out dreaming what they would do with all that money if they win.

That's gambling, no one gives you a guarantee of winning. It is their own right to spend their money to buy lottery tickets, because they want to gamble and try their luck by getting more tickets than others who are only getting free tickets.
Did you check the weekly results? There are so many people won lottery prices just with free lotteries. Here quantity is not important but luck is more important.
