Most of us, who are rolling the faucet for years already (almost 15,000 times here), have never been lucky enough to receive this reward. In a rarity scale, you got the epic prize, with 1 number distant from the legendary one...

I totally love your dedication on spinning the roll though. I would not even last few days consistently spinning those rolls, in fact I havent really touch my account for some time lol unless if I feel like betting on the btc prices range with my leftover balance in there.

Man, I've been playing for years, and I can't even recall the last time I scored a measly 20 cents on a free bet game, let alone a whopping $20! Thanks for the explanation, I really didn't know that option existed, and maybe I could use it myself sometimes - of course if it is possible to turn on/off the option whenever you want. Although I have been a user since 2014 or 2015, it seems that I will have to study all the options a little more

You have not lost, thats not how it works lol    The market has to offer a price no matter what, that does not mean its accurate and correct in entirety.  If the asset is being used and yes the main use of the token is on the website so you are using it; thats not a loss its a use.   Pricing is something else, that logic can apply to every asset pretty much but instead its super common for people just to gamble on prices fair enough thats the thinking of this customer base.  However in this particular case it is a working asset, some may dislike/like really dislike all of crypto again fine but I have to point out the difference I wouldn't encourage anyone to buy too much or what they cannot use but a fair balanced buy vs your use of the site thats fine imo.   Ditto many asset types try to stay balanced, the world is getting more volatile imo.
 
  You dont have a loss till you sell at the bad price, dont enter into a situation where you must do so and same goes for BTC; its bad for all of us if people speculate and bet the price goes up using borrowed cash then BTC prices goes into a rollercoaster plunge (every asset under influence of leverage will do that in the end).    Pretty much that happens every time, I'm over feeling sick its normal now crypto has these swings be chill :p

If you think it's an useful and cool token with good fundamentals, and you thought 36 sats were a good price, surely you are buying them with nearly 50% discount to recover more easily.
Because since they are locked, only thing you could do is DCA more of them until price recovers, unless that decrease you are predicting is going to be radical and you think it won't.

That is a risk which is always associated with any investment,trading any person does,I bought most of my FUN which was near 75.000 with 28 Satoshi and I sold all of them when they were 39 Satoshi so I made quite some good money by trading them and now I only have 7000,but I am buying with all the money that I get daily from WoF and free rolls plus referrals that click sometimes now and then and buy FUN at 19 Satoshi which is a bargain.I am in for the long run and I know in the next bull run the FUN token will most likely go back to 100 Satoshi each,so patience is the virtue of the winner and also my advice to you.

I think you should be able to recover the dropped % margin through WOF. You should be able to spin good amount of wheel of fortune considering you are having 10WOF per day. By the time of maturity you would have spun around 3650 wheels which are surely enough to get you hundred thousand  sats and RP. This can easily happen considering the past experiences of the fellow members. I saw someone rolling 1000 spins and he was able to collect that much. This already made us investment into profits. Try your luck by collecting those spins and then rolling them all at once. I hope you won’t regret it and also you could always continue to hold them next year as well.

I have bought 50k FUN tokens a few months ago and locked them for 1 year with 25% APY. Each FUN token price was around 36 satoshi when I bought it. But now the FUN token value is 19 satoshi. The reward of the WOF spins won't be enough to recover the amount which I have lost for FUN/BTC pair drop until now. I think that the FUN/BTC pair will decrease more in the upcoming months.

That's because Betwrong has disabled getting lottery tickets.
You can go to your profile and check "Disable lottery" option. With doing so, you will get reward points instead of lottery tickets.

Maybe disabled it to get RPs instead?

Congrats on that, giant amounts of luck required to just get the 2nd.  You are of course still owed by rights of many spins undertaken the 1st prize also
 
With the Fun tokens I would be tempted to increase to the next tier however I will have to look at how much advantage that would be for me, only after 90 or 180 days does it increase.  I did sell some at higher prices, I'll add up whats the gap etc.  Its not as tempting, there is the 7th burn of Fun Token done recently apparently which should help price in theory but also people are getting more Fun Token yielded after locking it and that represents apparent supply too.   Just that by itself would explain price going back to flat and not rising from an old low in this area.   Price is an expression of the market its not absolute its squiggy, it can overvalue as well as undervalue and its subjective to say which usually people dont care they just worry about this cash out price.  Im not considering selling in this time period so in theory Im not as bothered :p   As others said above I already decided to lock the longer period so the interim price is more incidental.
   BTC is flat and people would say disappointing or even a few its a definite negative trend which I think is off and little over reactive but thats sentiment.   This whole year I think it'll be back and forth no easy ground so whatever else I wouldnt be expecting best price in such bad weather tbh.

@Betwrong, congratulations on the win, although $20 is not a lot, you were still very close to the main prize - and this is the first time I've heard that an additional prize is won - because it definitely did not happen before when I won that prize several times.

What interests me is the fact that you didn't win a single lottery ticket in that roll, but the rules say that you get 2 lottery tickets for each roll - and it doesn't make much sense to me that they canceled that for the biggest prizes?

@jackg I have locked all my fun tokens for a year and I have done this process over several occasions so I could get a solid average on the buy price and furthermore I intend to hold on to them for quiet a while as this token will give us good returns but only in the long run.


@Betwrong congratulations I know this feeling well because I too had hit the sweet spot of 9999 few year’s back but at that time this additional $5 thread didn’t exist and while I was super happy I became instantly sad too that I missed hitting the number 10000  .

Did you lock a low amount? I thought you'd have gained if you held tokens for a year and locked them from the spins you get? I can't remember what price I bought mine for now but I think it's roughly about the same balance as what I deposited including if I cashed the reward points.

FUN tokens price isn't following the trend of Bitcoin price. The price of FUN tokens goes down when the whole market goes down, but it doesn't recover in the same way when Bitcoin price starts to recover. I wouldn't be surprised if the FUN/BTC pair goes below 10 satoshi. I have locked some FUN tokens with 25% APY for one year. The value of the FUN tokens was almost double of the current price when I bought it. Therefore, I won't be in profit for holding my FUN tokens when the locking period will end. I have to deal with more losses if FUN/BTC pair keeps decreasing.

Unfortunately, the trend in recent months is that the FUN token is constantly falling regardless of whether the BTC price goes up or down. Personally, I previously assumed that the fall of the FUN token may end at 14-15 sats as it was in December 2020. However, now I have doubts about that, and the FUN token could probably continue to fall as low as 4 sats since it's the previous all-time low, according to data on the CMC website.
