Sainz! Odds 17.11! Today’s F1 GP on Silverstone circuit gives huge huge winnings to people who believed in Sainz. He kept the 1st place from Q and became (surprising?) winner. I placed some not-so-big amount on his team partner and I had slightly bigger hope for Verstappen, but at the end it seems we cannot forget that Ferrari has 2 drivers.
I wonder if that winning will have any impact on F1 bets in the upcoming weeks. Verstappen was 6 th, and finally not bad Hamilton’s result.

Ferrari is looking in good shape although I must admit during the race Mercedes had the better pace but Sainz since the fight for the win in Canada had a great morale boost which was further boosted by the pole and it was in this 150 race of his that he finally got the win.As he said in the team radio message, wonderful to win my first race at my 150th race and to win with a team like Ferrari I cannot express in words how it feels.

The odd 17.11 are really exaggerated I think for any driver for Redbull,Ferrari and Mercedes as these teams are the strongest in the season so far so max an odd like 8 would be far more than enough.

Twitter wants to promote NFT but refuse to just simply convey a normal URL is nonsense and censorship with bias.   Cant have a platform for communication if they biased without good reason.
Unknown risks in the world are far greater danger and avenue to harm for most people.   Driving a car is worse risk then flying in a plane, peoples perceptions are off

It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so. “ – Mark Twain
I believe it's ok to disable referral links on tweets to decrease spam, repetitive posts and keep the platform and crypto hashtags cleaner (just like bitcointalk forum does), but it's absurd they consider freebitco.in link a malware, false advertising and forbids users from posting their referral links on profile description, while allowing crypto scams and ponzi schemes to advertise there without any issues (and through heavy spam tactics).

Did you encounter that in the web version? If so, their android application does not have or display such a message. After I tweet a direct referral link, it just notifies 'failed to send tweet' and when I put it on the website (edit profile), it prompts 'profile update failed'.

Pastepeso.com is what I use, it will let you create and publish plain text containing links.  It works and is not detected by Twitter as Freebitco.in referral link.
Yes, encountered that in web desktop version. Ah, got it.

Thank you for your suggestion. I'm going to check pastepeso.com!

I checked all the user ID-s and their ticket numbers but I don't understand how the winning numbers are decided although I read the section in the website of Freebitco.in which describes the provably fair lottery, however in the text file I didn't see why one of those numbers was a winning one or at least I didn't understood it well.

It would be nice in the text file to add a description with the winning numbers so people who don't understand it from the actual structure can see which of the numbers was a winning one.Just a suggestion.

Based on the provably fair explanation page, it should be fairly simple. Regardless of the user IDs, having more tickets means more numbers covered for the holders. Just that they're grouped together in ascending/ descending order rather than scattered like a typical lottery.

For instance, if I have 10,000 tickets, my winning range would be from 1 - 9,999. Then another user has 8,000 tickets so that means 10,000 - 17,999 for him or her.

Assuming I win the first prize, winning number is 3,500. If the next winning number is 7,976, then it gets rerolled because I can't win for the second time.

I've used shorturl.at. Right after posting it works perfectly, but when I checked again few minutes later destination was removed already and the short link redirected to the main official shortener page.

And (as I expected, unfortunately) Swiatek is out. Magic of Wimbledon. And yes, you must be good at grass-courts to have any hope. What now? Probably “Other”, but let’s wait a little more.

F1… I think Verstappen will start very well from the 2nd position and if we manage to keep Leclerc behind, he will win. But now bets are closed, so what will be, will be.

Thats decent bias to have as a tailwind but a good driver and/or other factors can still negate that.

BTC ended June under 20k, which gave a very nice profit to many users (including me :>), as odds were almost 3. Market is full of pessimism, we do not know how it will be during that month. I think any early bets are too risky.

F1 comes to England this weekend, I have placed some small bets on both Verstappen and Leclerc, for the final ones I wait for the first trainings. In few hours we will me much smarter. (I think it will be Ferrari)
Honestly, even with 10 days to left, it wasn't really known if it would do that or not. It's not a "big shock", of course it could end that way, but at the end of the day we are talking about btc here, and it is normal that sometimes what we expect do not happen.

We should simply just accept the fact that it's not going to be easy and it is going to be quite tough challenge to know what bitcoin will be. The odds represented what it could be, hell I would even say it was low considering how higher we started but eventually we got there before the betting was closed so I sort of understand the idea as well. Good month for all the bettors who got it.

You can try sharing your ref link in twitter without the https before the link and just add a description there to copy paste it,if you are aiming at getting referrals.
Thanks for the suggestion, I deleted the https:// and put a space after the dot (freebitco. in), so people can copy and paste the link.

How do you say Twitter considers the Freebitco.in referral link to be malware? Nothing happens or comes out after you tweet. Cheesy What shortener link are you using? Because I just tried this one now and it works, well I'm still testing it to see if it can be deleted or not after a few hours.
When you try to tweet the referral link a different message displays:

It will be my strategy - to see how favorites goes and then bet opposite Wink I really do not believe Swiatek will win and I will bet on "others", at least in early phase (with a high time weight multiplier). Some say Bianca Andreescu will defeat Swiatek in 1/4.
But in 2 days they will close bets on F1 GP, I can't wait for the first trainings to see the difference between Ferrari and Red Bull. I am not sur if pole position will be critical, but it is always a good sign.
At this rate, it's not really shocking to wager on Max for each race. Sure he will not win "all" races, but if he wins enough then the wins will be profitable enough to cover for the losses. He is just way too good compared to Charles and Red Bull is far far ahead of ferrari right now.

Maybe you are right, maybe I will bet like that. Trainings didn’t bring any definitive answer and for sure Red Bull is hungry of winning.
On the other hand, current 1.31 for Max I do not see as an attractive odds. Risky.
In the meantime I try to follow Wimbledon and the last Swiatek game (2:1) slowly convinced me to bet on ‘Other’ option.

Nothing lasts forever
Unfortunately, yes, Ethereum has crashed heavily during the past few days. But you placed your bets wisely, so, at least you will get your money back. And I'm surely losing my two bets, "$27,501 - $30,000" and "$30,001 - $32,500".
I had also placed bet on $30,001 to $32,500 range, and I'm going to loss it for sure. Bitcoin price is at the $15k to $20k price range, the outcome odds is 2.99× for this range. Unfortunately I haven't placed any bets on that range.

Yeah, I would have got profits only if ETH went above $1250 but I kinda knew it won't since the dump is not yet over.
So I had to place my bets on the lower ranges too. I guess minimizing losses is better when you know profits aren't incoming.
ETH price went above $1,251 in the previous week. I thought it will stay there until the end of this month. But crypto market is too much volatility now, and the price is showing downward move always. Anyway, you are still in a better position and you will win one of those bets which will minimize your losses.

As expected, the price of ETH stayed in the $1001 - $1250 range for which the odds were 2.64x
I had placed 0.00001 BTC for this range and got back 0.00002640 BTC.
I had placed 3 bets whose total was 0.00002850 BTC. So kinda lost only 210 sats which is still not bad.

200k is the same for me 10 year gross (not net) salary.I don't know where you live but I am assuming in Balkans somewhere because in Europe or better Western Europe has much better salaries, where I live now from many years because of work (in fact not going back to my origin country) most of the people are relocating to Germany,France and lately UK which has a new law regarding what they call skillful workers.

Let's call this an agreement between us two and no matter even if you have only 10 tickets is great,we will exchange Freebitco.in ID-s near the draw.If we happen to get that "karma" back stored in us  Grin we will get 5 years salary each one of us.

DEAL. We still have a few months so I'll find time to work this out a bit more. But for now, 2 of us.

Also I said 10 years but that was a bad estimate, it is actually way more if just depend on salary alone. But I was considering my income. My current salary can be deemed pretty high compared to what most of my friends earn and compared to minimum wage, but I am almost 40 years old and already worked 20+ years. And I work 7 days a week, otherwise I cannot pay rent.

Minimum wage (converted) almost $200
Urban poor classification (if you earn below this you are considered urban poor and entitled for assistance) - $500
My gross before tax from main job - $1000
I also do extra work on weekend + small online shop + forum - $600 so total I am $1600 from doing 2 jobs and 2 side hustle. 19.200 per year.

I will never stop working but for sure if I have 5 years break from winning I would love to relax on weekends for 5 years Wink

This is why there will be a few races where Red Bull will not do well of course, but they will still be great for the majority of the races enough to make it worthwhile to wager on all races for them. Or you could just take a risk and wager on Hamilton for each race, lose most races, but if you ever end up right even once, that should be enough to cover all the losses maybe? A risky move for sure.

The chances are high that it will be Ferrari, however if the rumors are true about the Redbull massive upgrade here which will give them a 0.3s reduction for lap then I doubt here it will be anyone else except Redbull.

Normally the FP show us more about the car details and performance but Redbull may very well not care about the FP sessions, all of them and then deliver a great qualifying effort taking the Pole Position. We have no way to know how they will behave.

Yes I was also unable to check the lottery ticket text file just because of this the url shortener stops after I click to open it,they can share a link here for the text lottery when it is done so we can all access it without problems.I am just curious to see the numbers that have been the winning tickets.

Thanks for letting us know. You can actually select the text of the link that Twitter displays then copy and paste it into the address bar of your browser. Or just bookmark this and change the round number each week.
