Why not? He has his own referral link in his signature. So he has an account with id no. 178 .
He sets the bets but after that it works automatically, so he may place some bets too.
There is no way to tell if that is really his referral link. It could only be a way of tracking clicks that come from the forum in order to analyze marketing strategies. freebitco.in official PR account has the same referral code in the signature. But even if it is his referral link in the signature, that does not mean he will take bets for which he set the odds.
The odds are the same at start , they go up and down when people start betting , so no one changes them manually. There is another topic related to freebitco, if you check the old pages you can see his post there trying to get the free giveaway from wetsuit . He wasn't working with him those days ,I suppose.

Thanks
So he has his own account.
Correct, I was indeed the 178th signup when the site started in 2013.
You wager on your website yourself as well?
I mean yes technically you are not the founder and wetsuit is, and you are... staff? partner? I really do not know what's your title here and it is none of our business but I didn't expected you to gamble in the website you are the (at the very least) spokesperson to.
It is nice to see it by the way, not a bad thing, I am not really judging or anything, in fact I found it so comforting that I would have started gambling if I saw this and wasn't already gambling like an insane person
. However I am already gambling, and unfortunately I lost, I expected it to be 40k+ by the end, wish I was right.
He didn't say that he placed the bets himself, he only mentioned that he was very tempted to do it because of the good odds
. I believe TheQuin sets the ranges for the bets on BTC price (and probably also for the sports bets) so I doubt he can place bets himself lol.
I'm staff. I was a customer for a long time before I started working here. I stopped wagering when I took the job. My position here was arranged informally so I don't have any sort of written contract. Normally if you work for a gambling business you would be forbidden from gambling there. That's to protect the employer from any possible cheating. With the parimutuel betting that doesn't really apply because the customers are betting against each other and not the house. So I don't think I'd feel there was any problem if I did place bets on Bitcoin price.
