Did anybody already placed some bets on BTC price for november? I just checked the odds and they seem interesting. Surprising enoug the lowest odd (@3) is for the range 80,001 - 100,000$, which doesn't seem possible for me at this moment.

Wetsuit and TheQuin don't know what they are doing? They deliberately create such conditions and raise the rate to 6%, and then complain that they will soon go bankrupt. Where is the logic? Why can't we leave 4.08%?

While discussing moderation in a thread not about moderation is usually off-topic, it isn't automatically off-topic. Whether it's off-topic depends on the context - someone complaining that "X thing is moderated and shouldn't be handled by the community" isn't necessarily off-topic in a Reputation thread about thing X but someone posting a complaint about his / her posts being deleted in a non-Meta thread they were deleted from is usually off-topic. Context is also massively important when it comes to off-topic content as well - a throwaway line about moderation in a massive post that is completely on topic doesn't always warrant deletion or changes.~

So let’s assume you got 500k fun tokens and yes I know that would be a lot of money spent but if you are a very rich person this is the calculation for you. With that you would have 25% return extra, considering it is 4.08% right now, adding would make it 5.1% for you.

If you put in 100k, then you would make 5k per year for that, but remember this is bitcoin as well, so price of bitcoin will "usually" go up as well, but that is not what this is for so lets leave that aside for now. You will also get 16 wheels per day, even with 50 satoshi per day which would be unlikely to get all the time that is 292k satoshi as well so that is another 200 bucks on top of it, adding probably at least another 100-200 dollars for all the extra that you could win, imagine a world where you get 5840 spins and ALL of them are 50, that is unlikely. Rounding up let’s say that’s another 500 dollars, so you get literally 5.5% or so return, closer to 6% if you are lucky.

I am sorry but there are not many places that can guarantee you 6% return on bitcoin, not any that would be as trustworthy as freebitcoin. There are some staking places that offer more, like uniswap or pancakeswap with USDT or BUSD or USDC whatever, but they are not guaranteed, they are always changing and it is risky. Here you get 6% a year guaranteed and bitcoin as well, not dollars!

Apart from all of these interest rate discussion, do you guys really keep that many btc in freebitco.in though? I mean there is no benefit apart from the interest rate in there though and aside from that, anything can happen because its not your own 'private' wallet. Im not doubting freebitco,in but just asking because the interest rate is not that high either plus that you really need decent amount of btc in your account to actually make decent amount from it

I keep around 0.1 BTC on the site. The interest is not super high, but much higher than on a bank account. I know anything can happen, but they are the oldest faucet around so I trust them enough, to keep this amount on the site. Will probably cash out a bit when the BTC price keeps climbing.
