If you guys could hire a better designer and get a new one made I am sure it would be much better, and it would give you guys a lot more love from users as well.

I mean there is no reason to change it at all. Its all about making a simple and easy to navigate website because most traffics are probably coming from people that googled 'free bitcoin' and those people are new in this crypto space so simple UI like this serves its purposes better
Then why do you think almost all websites have a constant design change? They are not just doing it for the sake of new features, they can do that with the old design anyway, but they change it,
hell even google moved one of the letters one pixel to the side, why? At the end of the day better design is better, and same design makes it boring after certain amount of years, I am sure that all marketing departments would agree with that. In the end when you have millions of dollars in profit, and you have all the features you want, and you are basically giving away free LAMBO! which is insane to think about, then whats there left to do?
The only thing you can do is the fact that you can basically just change the design and give a fresher look and make the website fun again all over. I believe a much much much better design can be achieved and that would give people a chance to gamble once again with love, instead of boredom.
Overall you are right, most brands keep changing their designs, and for the most part the new ones are better than the old ones. However, for the well-established old brands this is not necessarily the case. Stella Artois, for instance, has been keeping their logo unchanged since 1366. Yes, Google changed their logo, but the change was so subtle one could barely see it:
Freebitco.in is a well-established brand, no doubt about that, so what they might want are very subtle changes, or no changes at all.
