There was an error that caused a delay. We're waiting on block 628121 so 2 to go.

Pretty excited to find out how many tickets they had. I placed my bet on the region "101 - 500" earlier when the odds where 16.52
and now they are just 2.27, so my win amount will not be that great, but still it's always nice to win, no matter the prize.

@SquallLeonhart: I was talking about Golden Tickets, the one that just ended. You don't get anything from referrals as far as I know, only from your own wagered amounts.

I just noticed that the ticket list that they posted on twitter begins with user id 3099813. My user ID is 1880340 and does not appear on the list. Several other users are also complaining on twitter that their user ID is not in the list.
I'm trying to get hold of wetsuit to investigate. We might have to do the draw again.

Yes. The 12th block determines what the client seed will be. We are still roughly 1 hour 45 minutes away.

Golden Ticket, the Lambo one ends in 13 minutes it says. The tickets really arent much and you got to be in it to win it so added some, slight as my chances might be it would be some nice news in the midst of gloomy 2020 we having.
Interest payable on the winning balance would be about 1 Bitcoin a year I think, not bad for doing nothing with it. Anyone who bet half a bitcoin during the contest would now have over 100 tickets I think, does that include setting really favourable odds.
Couple Lambo vids as consolation if you happen not to win: Dude makes the case for the Gallardo (4WD) over the Huracan which is arguable tbh. Fastest speed in a rental Lamborghini.

We have under 1 hour before the golden ticket draw ends, I've been trying my best to try and get one more ticket before it closes but so far I have lost all my sats lol. I wanted an even number of 40 tickets but it looks like I'll be stuck on 39 which is okay with me, I just like to wish everyone who has golden tickets all the best and good luck!

Considering this has been going on for a while I assume I had a total of millions of tickets between all weeks and never won anything. Does this mean I should stop hoping? I will never stop hoping and will try to keep on wishing one day getting something. Even if I win just once and be in top 10, it would definitely worth all the wait.
I'm just doing it all on my own and so far it's been a bumpy road. However, after the big crash, I started treating all my digital assets as 'lost'. If I lose literally every satoshi, that will suck, but it won't be costing me any more money than it already has.
That means I also don't really care if it builds up really slowly, or dimishes, because it's not money that I intended to spend in the supermarket next week.
That said, if a win like the 200k comes along, I'll gladly reconsider my point of view

We did think about doing something different next time but in the end, you can't beat a Lambo for pulling power.

Actually Lambo is the epitome of the upper echelon of the cryptocurrency society. You don't need to go even further because that's what many associate it with.
Hate it or love it, few other things worth 200k dollars have the same kind of pull, can't disagree. And then when the big boys at Consensus (IIRC) pulled out all the stops and parked all those gleaming Italian machines, just reinforced the association with success in crypto.
You can go further, or newer, but it is what it is;)
