It might be worth it, but you have to keep away from that bloody multiplier. 
I think I made it up to 0.002 BTC at one point, but I always end up losing it all an all-or-nothing bet.

If they give you big amount of free money, how you expect they will sustain the site ? How much the ad revenue you think ?
It's free. It's given to tons of people just from there advertisement revenue. If they give every one of there members any respected amount with there thousands of people getting it. They would run out of funds in just few hours.
I agree with that.
If you have some free time then it might worth a bit. But don't expect to become a millionaire overnight. 
Freebitco.in is worth it if you have a few seconds to waste every hour or so and have a smartphone with you. This is how I use it:

I feel their "Multiply BTC" is rigged because I got about 9 consecutive loosing streak on it.
Multiply BTC is working good for me.. I multiplay my bitcoins with like 4 times.

Freebitco.in use to be great! Had a few decent wins from them...but since BTC passed $500, most of these faucets aren't worth it anymore.
He sent me a PM telling me to wait for the next round of payments.
At least he seems willing to pay and genuinously concerned.

Most faucet pays out if you accumulate enought. I already received once from freebitco.in
