Thank you so much.
The Coinomi wallet support more coins or Trust Wallet?

I checked a review about each of them:

The Coinomi wallet:       https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-wallet/coinomi-review/
The Trust Wallet wallet: https://cryptoew.com/top-wallets/trust-wallet-review/

I know the Guarda wallet fee is high. How about the Coinomi and Trust Wallet? These wallets checking the users IP address?
When a wallet is close source, then could it mean it is a scam or their developers steal user's coins?

Thank you.
Electrum is just for the Bitcoin Sad
I need something like Atomic Wallet. Any suggestion? I found Guarda Wallet.

Well, just try Coinomi if you have a plan to store altcoins too aside from bitcoin. But the thing that I don't like in Coinomi is the fee will perhaps that update very well to the network. Regarding your title, just avoid using Freewallet for your crypto assets, I saw a lot of thread here that full of a complaint by that custodial wallet asking you a KYC or moreover, freezing your fund without any valid reason, in that way perhaps they will scam their users. However, I had like to suggest you if you will store bitcoin just only just a wallet that for bitcoin purposes and don't use for a bitcoin wallet that supports multi coins. If you are going to ask me, -- Electrum still the best bitcoin wallet for now.

I use Atomic Wallet for almost 6 months and I do not have any problem so far.
Atomic wallet is close source wallet, also not supporting segwit. During Bitcoin transaction, do you know you will use lower fee for segwit transactions? I can not use a wallet that do not supports segwit.

but I also installed Trust wallet on my other phone and so far, it works good for me.
Why are people just like close source wallet, I can not recommend anyone to use close source wallet. I will prefer wallet that its source code is open source, so I will be able to know what codes my wallet is using.
I think that is because people do not want to bother writing or remember something that seems too long for them.
For example, if they write the keyphrase or password in notepad or paper or anything else, they need to think where they need to keep it.
Some people are not comfortable remembering a place to store that thing.
So maybe the close source wallet will be good for them as they do not have to do other things and that is an easy way for them to store their coin.
We prefer to use an open-source wallet, but we can also suggest people use a wallet that is the close source.
If they can learn more about bitcoin, they will find out which wallet will be the best for them. Let them learn by the first time, and then add more information to know more about bitcoin.

Non-custodial wallets like Coinomi and Trust Wallet are your other options if you don't mind the risk of closed source. Make sure you download it from their official website since there are a lot of clone or fake wallets. May I ask why do you insist on a mobile multi-currency wallet? Ledger hardware wallet also supports many cryptocurrencies.

I installed an Atomic wallet on my mobile phone, but I never say to anyone about that wallet.
I kept everything related to Atomic wallet in a secret place so that no one will know about that.

That is the basic thing you need to know when you want to install a mobile phone wallet.
I do not know about Guarda, but I also installed Trust wallet on my other phone and so far, it works good for me.

Atomic wallet is closed source. Their actual claim is they use open-source library.
Changed. That means it is hard to see any altcoin open source wallet, or is there any open source altcoin wallet?

Yes, there are very few open source multi-crypotcurrency wallet. Here are few example that i know (WARNING: i didn't perform thoughtful research, please DYOR),
1. https://brd.com/
2. https://edge.app/bitcoin-wallet/
2. https://guarda.co/

Im Atomic wallet user for almost 2 years now If I'm not mistaken I know this wallet when they introduced airdrop before and since then I use it for storing some of my coins I never had a problem with sending and receiving devs are active so you don't need to worry using Atomic, Freewalet on the other hand has some bad reviews other called this wallet a scam so better stay away and use trusted alternative like Atomic or Exodus.

Both Freewallet and atomic wallet almost have the features, have some flaws at some point and also there disadvantages but the best aspect of atomic wallet is that the team believe in the crypto community logan " Not your keys, not your coins" i.e
1) Atomic wallet provided you private keys to the wallet you use while free wallets don't.
2) Free wallet requires an email address and your name (which is against anonymous rules) but you can create an account while an atomic wallet doesn't.
3) They both provide Bitcoin legacy wallet which is not advisable during this time.

Of those mentioned in your OP, Atomic, the reasons have already been given to you.

Atomic is the size of the shitcoin that you are going to use in "$$"(funds) it is excellent to handle amounts low and if you are going to make transactions In the shitcoin world, it works well, but be careful with the exchange or internal swap, the percentages are high, this wallet is very versatile it offers you that possibility ... if you are starting in the shitcoin world it works well, no ideal but meets the minimum requirements.

Possible additional options; if it's for bitcoin use minimal electrum, if it's for ETH and its "derivatives" Trust Wallet for everything else Atomic Wallet...

I am not aware of Freewallet, I am aware of Atomic Wallet as I have been using it from day one. Atomic wallet is a non-custodial multi-cryptocurrency wallet. You can use both the desktop version and the mobile version. I am using the mobile version at the moment and I have not faced any issue with it. They have great support and most of the time your issues get resolved over a chat on the telegram.
According to some Telegram groups that I know of, their experience with Atomic wallet is not that great. There are bugs and lots of issues that keep popping up, at least until last month. I don't know whether they've fix the bugs or not, but it is definitely not the best and all-in-one wallet. If OP is looking for something like that, a hardware wallet might be a better option.

I don't understand where all these people find that Freewallet - do they have some great SEO or do they pay huge amounts of money for advertising? Fortunately, some like the OP are intelligent enough to ask first before falling into the jaws of the impossible KYC process that this service has.

DO NOT use Freewallet, there are many scam accusation/complain. For example, see their account's feedback (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1177176).

Atomic wallet
  • Open source

Hey! Atomic Wallet utilizes many open-source components, like libraries, block explorers and so forth. We put a lot of effort and time to provide a good quality, reliable product for everyone. However, we keep part of our development in secret, in order to protect our users and ourselves from scammy copycats, phishing and bootleg applications.

FreeWallet is a centralized wallet that's like 50x worse than storing funds on Binance or Coinbase.

As always, hardware wallets like Ledger[1] or Trezor[2] to maximize security as much as possible, and probably BlueWallet[3] as a mobile hot wallet.

Hello,
I read something about both of the Freewallet and Atomic Wallet and I need the users experiences.
Please share your opinions.

Thank you.

Atomic wallet was the first one I tried to install about 5 years ago. Don't remember what exactly I didn't like but overall it remember it like an overcomplicated thing, not newbie friendly. Never used it since.
