That's unfortunate but good thing that's only few bucks. Their wallet sucks its their scheme already locking account through AML requirements. The only thing i think that newbies create an account there is the same thing what blockchain.com, their SEO service because of their site's names which gives an advantage.

I do not know what is the nature of the promotional campaign carried out by that wallet to get all this number of users[1][2][3], but they have a long history of closing accounts without explaining the real reasons. We can say that they are selective scammers. Once you deposit a large amount, they will try to take your money.

Why they decided to steal $50 baffles me.

There are no more users with thousands or hundreds of dollars in their platform so they will go to small amounts now, when you are in a scam platform there is no such thing as a safe amount, not because you only have $50 your money is safe, small amounts have finally come to scam them or it's your turn now.
A good and safe practice is when a platform started to scam its users even if you still can withdraw leave them and don't wait for your turn.

Why they decided to steal $50 baffles me.

Do you know how many such accounts with less than $50 have already experienced the same fate as yours? I assume that there are thousands, if not tens of thousands of them, considering that these scammers have a very good domain, which in combination with the keywords "free, crypto, wallet" almost always has a position at the top of the search results. A perfect trap for naive crypto investors who don't know the difference between custody and non-custody wallet, and what's even worse, nobody can do anything to them because they only work according to the law.

This is the most shocking action they've ever done[1], and as you can see they're still resistant to reproach[2].
Then I'm not sure for a customer like @OP would even get them to take the time to write a specific response. Op needs to be an influencer on Musk's level first to make them aware of this problem.

Why they decided to steal $50 baffles me.

The only reason that I can think of is they think you are abandoning their platform by withdrawing all your money from their account since you are an inactive user so they scam that remaining $50.
They already know that there are a lot of scam accusations against their wallet so they will scam their users with whatever amount, I'm sure if there are old members like you that try to withdraw whatever amount they have in that platform, they will experience the same thing.

Is there any reason why a thief should not rob you? They found that you violate one of their terms of use and they have a condition to close your account if you are unable to provide your data and therefore they knew that you would not be able to claim that money.

They have closed the Elon Mask wallet, so it seems that their system will allow you to use the wallet even if you violate one of the terms of use, and then the problems begin as soon as you make a deposit.

If you think your personal data is worth less than $50, send it to them, they will try to set some strict conditions, and if you can bypass them, they may return the money to you.

I happened to open an account with them somedays ago as a recommendation from a friend but seeing this now have given  me some goose bump. I do not think I would continue with them any more. For my own safety and to avoid unforseen circumstances in the nearest future, I will have to do away with them for good. Thank you op for this update here. It is nice you made this post in time as I was about getting set to making use of the account but with this attitude they have put towards you, I will keep far from them and also advise any one who is trying to open An account with them to halt for the time being so as not to get scammed by them. It is better to avoid doing anything with them than to get entangled with them in the nearest future.

I had this account since 2019 and I had some money sitting there I wanted to transfer. I tried transferring half the funds today and found out my account is blocked under suspicion. Like what? They want me to send identification and everything but luckily I only have about $60 in there and judging by how many people they have scammed, I am going to call it a very minor loss.

Fuck them.

By the way, i did contact support and they told me they suspended my account because hackers were trying to get into my account over $50. Oh, right.
Now they are requesting ridiculous information. I am so glad I kept almost no money with them. Fuck these scammers.
