Another deceived. How many topics have I already read both inside our forum and outside it. Look at the reviews on the Internet in other sources, the average ratings describe the situation very eloquently. Next time, try to choose more carefully and find out in advance who you are dealing with.

Free wallet isn't Free they just a documents hunters, they will never end asking documents,
Even if you have all documents they'll ask another documents to spins round.

Do not use this idea, as you open this topic you will have good experience with this forum peoples.

If you use this idea they'll definitely divot you.

Because they cheat their customers on the pretext of documents and then scam them without returning the funds. The document excuse is one of the most common ways for these scam websites/wallets to fool their customers.

Don't know why crypto users register and deposit funds in this wallet. Complaints against this wallet are endless, with every crypto user posting here after being scammed by them.

i have telegram channel with 8.5k follower do you think ask my followers to spam them to unlock my account is good idea?

following-up to main post , now the wont me to make contract with my customers and show this :

In the document we should see all the info about it:
- Address which was used to send coins
- Address which was used to receive coins
- Hash of transaction
- Date
- Amount
- Passport data of both parties

the problem i can't ask my customers for there passport there is no way
My clients are not obligated to send me their passport details

thanks for advice , but i need online wallet where i can use it on my phone and also have multi coin not one type , can you give me good advice ?
--snip--

Well... That's quite a hard one... I have no experience with holding loads of altcoins on a phone. Generally speaking, i'd say it's a bad idea... I personally don't believe those wallets are as thoroughly vetted as open source desktop wallets (even tough that's just a gut feeling), combined with the extra attack vectors (easy theft, a lot of times just a 4 digit pincode as protection,...). And even then, it's a bad idea to hold a reasonable amount of funds on a desktop wallet anyways.

Since bitcoin is about personal responsibility and choice: I have heared reasonably good things about mycelium, but you should do your own research before using them. Personally, i would never use them for anything more than pocket change, but it's up to you to make up your mind.

If you want more security (and this should be your goal), you could look into hardware wallets like ledger... They have at least one model that can be used from your phone (and, eventough not everybody likes ledger, i think it's safe to assume they're a hell of a lot safer than any "real" smartphone wallet). They support a cured selection of altoins aswell.

Personally, if i were you, i'd probably use a wallet like mycelium (or even an exchange wallet) to receive coins, swap them for BTC the very same moment i receive them, and then keep them on a properly generated paper wallet or a hardware wallet. Bitcoin is money, keep it safe. Don't cheap out on $100 for a decent hardware wallet when you're storing a couple thousand dollars worth of crypto... It's just not a good idea, and you'll end up losing funds sooner or later (and at this point you'll wish you had spend $100 on a hardware wallet, or a couple of hours learning how to properly generate and secure a paper wallet).

thanks for you hard work bro , i will read more about that ♥

hello , i have send the contract they want , and the ask for more info about my fund , and i send almost 70 Screenshots of transactions i receive from my clients

and i don't want to fight with them that's why i did not share my story every where , i am afraid that's may give them the reason to block my account  , but my last chance will be expose them if i did sent all the requested documents and my problem did not solve

They have a reason to block your account and deny your payout request, scammers are like this, they will wait for their victims to lose their patience, the complainants will file a complaint, post their experiences on forums and social media platforms and when they see these,  they will accuse you of ruining their reputation, so they will according to them legally scam you.

Thanks for other comments, I really appreciate your kindness guys , yes i shouldn't use this wallet , but you know people do mistakes

i will keep you all on updates

Also, be sure to preach and request all your friends who are using custodial wallets to shift to the non-custodial wallet to avoid similar bad experiences to what you've experienced.

and update on my case , i asked them how the contract should be formatted , and i am waiting for there reply

did you get any reply from them and how is the settlement of your case progressing?
they are not competent authorities or judges and it is not up to them to check your contracts.

it's unclear to me why you don't want to put more pressure on them, especially on public channels. I am sure they would devote themselves more to your case to avoid negative publicity.

afaik, trust wallet is closed source and i've never heared about "Guarda".

Why don't you just stick with open source, community vetted and long time trusted wallets instead of using closed source or obscure wallets?
Electrum, sparrow, bitcoin core,.. or if we're talking about "considerable" amounts maybe a trusted hardware wallet instead?

EDIT: apparently, trust wallet IS open source... I'd still advice you to use electrum or the likes tough...

-------------------------

Use a wallet which private key is in your own possession. You don't give control of your private key to anyone else. It's like you are asking bank to have your crypto. If you are in bitcoin then Electrum is the best if you don't want to use the full node of course. Make sure you keep your seed safe, not in a digital format.

When you will send crypto to exchange, don't send large amount. Better if you use mixer which will break connection. Send the mixed coins to the exchange. There are also decentralized exchanges where you will never need KYC.

thanks for advice i will read more about that

Freewallet has done the same thing for years and they still fall for it.

They continue this scam even some crypto users still dare to use this wallet and thus fall victim to the scam. Crypto users should keep in mind that it is not right to store large amounts of funds in such wallets because you do not have a private key, which means you do not have access to your funds. These wallets target those crypto users who know less about crypto wallets. As a result these wallets continue their scam mission.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Unfortunately, it seems that Freewallet has a history of being involved in scams and fraudulent activities. There have been many cases reported against them since 2017, and even in Bitcointalk, many users have warned others about the risks of using this wallet. It's important to research any wallet or service before using it, as this can help you avoid scams and protect your funds. By doing a simple search on Google you can often find information about a wallet's reputation, user reviews and any reported issues or red flags for freewallet example when you search about it adding´scam’ word can find this topic on bitcointalk [1] and just reading the posts you will see freewallet user [2] was tagged with 15 negative trust and i think it’s enough to determine that they are 100% a scam
In the future i recommend to use wallets that have a strong reputation in the community and have been proven to be reliable and trustworthy or a better choice which is buying a cold wallet. This can help you to avoid the risk of losing your funds to scams or fraudulent activities and even less chances of getting hacked
I hope you're able to recover from this loss and take steps to protect your funds in the future.

This is very devastating. At this moment when you needed help that is when all this rubbish from freewallet is ozzing out. I feel your pain mate. How could freewallet be this callous and heartless to play such game with a customers life savings under their custody and at this moment when Syria is in shambles as a result of this earthquake. To be frank after reading this post again and again I got pissed off and angry but I could do nothing but just to sympathize with OP.  Seems freewallet is now becoming notorious for their scam pattern of freezing customers account tagging it to be suspected fraudulent act fro holders giving way for them to get accounts holders assets  ceased.

i don't know but life is not fair with syrians , there was war for 12 years and i don't wanna go into details and US sanctions on Syria and now earthquake , just your reply here give me hope , thanks bro

- Passport data of both parties

A legitimate platform should not be asking for other people's passports - they can of course ask for yours, but never other people's. This is an excuse they make to keep their money.

the problem is most websites blocked syria access , but freewallet has no restriction on region what's why i use it
most of my development is .net (vb and c#) , and i do web development like html, sql, php, javascript

You should use a non-custodial wallet to store your money, instead of a website, to avoid this kind of problem.

If you need to store multiple altcoins, you can use Atomic Wallet / Guarda / OWNR and there are also others (just avoid Exodus wallet as people have reported balances mysteriously disappearing from their accounts).
