Again another bit of positive news that supports the idea that Bitcoin is becoming mainstream. I think it is gradually becoming an investment that is no longer high risk.

A great news and move to promote crypto or Bitcoin,
Now more people would be aware of it and would be curious about it.
I think it would be great if there would be more country or even other company or products that would promote Bitcoin.

PayAccept - Worldwide payments accepted in seconds
But if they made a television program to teach about blockchain and bitcoin, it would be better than tobacco ads. People will not want to own or use a property that they do not fully understand.

broadcasting bitcoin on national TV channels is a great and effective way of promoting bitcoin. by broadcasting bitcoin on TV it can be sure that bitcoin is not a scam and also we can provide true knowledge to the general public about cryptocurrency. by broadcasting bitcoin on TV it will increase the number of people who know about bitcoin. So far we only get news about cryptocurrency from the internet and social media.

This is good news, it seems that the European countries they know how to go ahead and accept Bitcoin more than other countries, they go ahead and advertise to trend for users to learn and follow, it's easier when Many countries make their way. In the future, it is hoped that the developing country will have more breakthroughs in this technology.

It would really help them to explore more on Bitcoin aside from just traditional stocks.

I think in the current era if bitcoin ads on television channels are not very good because now not many people like watching television anymore because the technology is now more sophisticated and for example inserting bitcoin ads like on French television, of course only French people watch it, but it's better if they advertise bitcoin like a youtube channel that can be watched by everyone in various countries which is very helpful in promoting bitcoin.
but if advertisers are carried out everywhere it will be far better. for example on television or the web, as well as advertisers in public spaces such as billboards. it includes marketing management to expand on bitcoin. so I think advertising everywhere will be better

It doesn't look like a very good system, and it seems expensive. I get the impression that you buy a voucher, and then you have to g to your computer, and claim your coins in a wallet they provide. Is this true? Do you have to pay more fees to "spend" the coins in your wallet? I'm a cynic, and I wonder how long it will be before they introduce fractional reserve banking into their wallet structure.

Is there any more info about the wallet, and their exchange system?

Good move by the French TV. It's important they promote bitcoin, because we have too many bad promoters of cryptocurrency promoting some Ponzi coins and promising it will dethrone the bitcoin. Now that the mainstream media is doing a good job, it will help guide investors on the right digital gold to invest which is bitcoin and not any other scam or dealy shit. I will be attending a Seminar in Nigeria to stop a promoter from selling scam to the gullible.
Yes this move will take effects once people start realizing what bitcoin can give them and how they will take advantage of the current situations, not just an investment tool but also a good payment process behind borders, it will serve as a digital money online making it more easy and quick to deal with online shops and any payment transactions that caters bitcoin services.

This could potentially impact the market significantly when seen in a long-term manner. Adoption looks inevitable now and there are these news that comes up quite often, and FUD spreaders are now silent. Even with their attempts to hinder further adoption, Bitcoin always finds its ways and proves that it could be used as an alternative mode of payment, not only with illegal things but also the legal market. It just seemed to be predictable and quite sad to know that Bitcoin first emerged in the illegal black markets, but now it's turning the other way around.

Basically what impacts the most from the sector of information medium is the television, and bitcoin and cryptocurrency being featured in some sort will possibly cause a great market adoption. Plus, the tv channel is quite a reputable one, then we can surely say that it will surely induce a serious discussion about bitcoin and cryptocurrency matters by people who could watch it. I highly consider television as more reliable compared to Internet that is why I highly believe cryptocurrency adoption would be faster with this method of inducing market adoption.

OWNR - Store all crypto in one app.
This is what I'm looking for. A bitcoin-related advertisement on national tv. I see it as the best way of promoting bitcoin since a lot of people across a country is watching tv, and it will make it easier to spread awareness about bitcoin. I would definitely love to see a bitcoin advertisement here in my country. The Philippines is a crypto-friendly country as well, so it would attract other local people. Unlike socmed promotions, people would easily trust ads on tv compared on the internet since there's a lot of fake news and info spreading there. While on tv, it's most likely to be trusted and approved products.
Indeed, actually there are some stores in the Philippines that accepts bitcoin as a payment for their product and service. The adoption is improving despite of some people doubting it because they thought it was a scam, well if that finally happens of course they will realize that they are wrong for judging bitcoin. It's pretty accurate that they tend to believe what they have seen in TV because they think that it won't be advertise if it's not legit right? so I guess it can also help our fellow Filipinos to adopt and accept bitcoin, it can also give them some idea that a digital currency existed and it can be used in our country. Great to see that some countries are looking for some ways to make their people  realize about a cryptocurrency, it can make them more aware about bitcoin and hopefully accepts it and adopts it too.

I got click baited! I thought France was advertising bitcoin adoption and was recommending people and buisnesses to use bitcoin to pay for their products when in case, it's just a service who's bought TV ads. Pretty sure "Keplerk" is just a BTC payment processor (think bitpay), and they want people to use their service to pay for items in real life.

Is TV ad cheaper than Google ads?

I wonder why Keplerk chooses to advertise on TV when I'm pretty sure most people (or at least millenials) see Google more often. On top of that, it's funny to see how this turned from 'a business doing their thing' to 'French advertise Bitcoin!'.
Tobacco is mostly used by older men (I believe, most of the kids are into juuling), and old men will watch a lot of TV, so it's probably a better use of money then buying more google ads (I am certain they will have google ads as well).

Nothing lasts forever
It's a great move by TF1 and France supporting it is like an icing on the cake.
A small step can lead to bigger changes and this small move by TF1 might result in bigger institutions start accepting bitcoin as well.
If many institutions start accepting bitcoin then it might be globally accepted in no time.

Pretty sure Keplerk or another company announced that there was going to be an option to spend BTC on cigarettes and e-cigarettes earlier this year, kinda sucks that it took them several months to get it implemented, although better late than never.

Not sure if it's the best idea to only let tobacco be bought with BTC, it sort of gives off a bad vibe of BTC (I understand cigarettes aren't illegal, but they aren't good for you either), I think there needs to be a lot more mainstream adoption, where it can be used to buy groceries or electronics before they start seeing any actual numbers.

I am sure in the future other countries will follow that step, I hope these ads can help increase the popularity of bitcoin, thus impacting on the demand for bitcoin and making the price more valuable.

Europe is again going to shine in the globe with their acceptance of modern technology and freedom for humans. Europe is the most advanced and most crypto accepted region with many of the new legit projects being involved in Europe. Their relative success would spread the adoption of crypto within Europe and beyond.
There are so many countries in Europe where they fully accept cryptocurrency and its good that France is one of them. I agree that Europe will become the best continent to use cryptocurrency and there’s already a lot of project  from them. France is going to become more digital soon and this can be lessen the case of Atm fraud which is happening on many places, more countries should follow this one.
