I agree with what you're saying, but ideally Marseille shouldn't have had this draw. But if we look at the match statistics, I don't wonder why they got this result. Marseille's performance was not good so far, I man since they are in the second position on the table and their main competitor is PSG and they are not in a good situation with PSG, Marseille could use the chance they had and they could even take their position on the table while they even lost two important points against Montpellier which can be dangerous for Marseille because there is the chance for other teams to even take their place.

I don't think Marseille can win the Ligue 1 title this season as long as they can't consistently win match. For the match between Auxerre vs Troyes and actually based from their head to head statistics i can see these teams already met since in Ligue 2 and both teams can be defeated each other which mean there was no team who dominant and i found interesting records for Troyes away matches records that they got the better records while playing away
And both teams are really required points because they have same mission to survive in Ligue 1 and indeed it's really difficult to decide which teams will be the winner of this match but indeed draw could be fair result for them because their recent performance is not so different and here is the odds for those teams

Actually, in French League, the match between Auxerre and Troyes is more important than the PSG games, because on top of the table, we know because of the better players PSG got and the gap they have to other teams they are going to win the title this season however another reason PSG winning the title is the low performance of other teams, but for teams like Troyes and Auxerre they are in danger zone and they need to win to survive.
