Lille managed to get 3 points from a difficult away game. Toulouse is not an easy opponent but this game was a must win for Lille. In the first half, the away team couldn't find a goal despite playing a pressing football. In the second half, we watched a more balanced match. Lyon hosted Nantes at home. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. We can say that it was a good result for Nantes, because even 1 point is important for them. Lyon, on the other hand, continues to lose points by drawing 3 weeks in a row. If it wasn't for the points lost for them in these 3 weeks, they would be in 5th place now. Marseille itself will face Reims who are currently ranked 8th in the Ligue 1 standings, they will also play this match away, therefore Lens must really take advantage of the golden opportunity they currently have to be able to shift Marseille's position (if Marseille lost). I don't think much about these League One matches. Because I don't see the chance of any other team to do well in the way that PSG is occupying League One. But with these matches the smaller teams are training themselves more.Moreover, the elimination of Paris Saint German from the UCL will make Christophe Galtier's team more focus on the French 1 League to defend the title that has belong to PSG for several seasons. I had Lille as favorites against Toulouse. But Lille couldn't score any goals in the first half. Also I wouldn't say that Lille played very well or attempted to score. Lille keep their defense tight and then attack. And so I think the match will be a draw. Because the Toulouse team cannot be called weak. This team is good enough. Toulouse's defense is a bit weak but the team's attacking lineup is strong. So it looks like the second half will be more competitive.

However, it looks like this match will not be easy for Lille to get full points over Toulouse. if, considering that in the last two matches they played only resulted in a draw match. plus, in this match Lille will not be strengthened by several players who have been hit by injuries. which means, Lille will not be fully strengthened by its main starter. but that doesn't mean Lille doesn't have a chance to overthrow the home team. because after all, Toulouse is below their ranking. and if we refer to the history of H2H meetings between these two teams, in the last two matches, Lille dominated the victory. so, Lille has a chance to continue their dominance over Toulouse.

Angers is a good opponent against Lens because they have won their last two matches against Lens, but the interesting part is that, they are not in form as they are seated in the bottom of the league which will give Lens a chance to break the record because I am sure they will win today's match because they are also fighting for Champions league slot next season. The odds for Toulouse are higher than I was expecting to see but not high enough to attract me to bet on this team. the last time they face each other's in the French league, Toulouse lost the game against Lille with a 2-1 result while they also performed well and had even more control over the game comparing to Lille also they could have more goal opportunities so there is still a chance for Toulouse however the odds are still not high enough to take the risk.
