Marseille were really bad against PSG this time and I wonder why. Because their general performance in the league so far has been really impressive.
They were in a good form and shape as well before this game. I would have expected them to resist PSG more than that. The defensive weaknesses cost them too big. Mbappe and Messi were so comfortable with making incredible assists to each other and finishing the game early as well. Now the gap has become 8 points between these teams in the standings. PSG can go for making the gap much bigger than this from now on maybe.
Marseille failed to take this golden opportunity to shortned the point gap to keep the title race alive and closer , mbappe play brilliantly as usual to torture marseille , almost sure psg will take the trophy as usual every year ... there is no really competition in ligue 1.
The top 4 is not balance , psg way too strong.
This game was a disappointment for Marseille, it was the opportunity to take 3 points from PSG and they threw that option away, the truth is that they did not apply the same strategy with which they beat PSG in the French Cup, this time they went out to play but very bad.

Even though losing a game is always a bad thing and can have a negative effect on any team, PSG still lost the game against Bayern Munich, which was not a weak team. However, they spent millions of dollars on their players and hoped to see their team even win the champions league, but still they are in the first round of the league and are the first hopefuls of winning the championship, which is not any worse than what it was for the previous team.
Despite having so many good players, I don't understand why the team is so messy. But I think the coach of PSG team has made some bad decisions, if the team players apply some new strategy, then the team can probably do something great.
For the fact that PSG has 3 out of the five best players in the world or the fact that they have the most lethal defender in their ranks shouldn't make football fans to see them as a failure because it is one thing to have quality players and also another thing to make good use of those players and that is why I think that their main problem is tactical problem. They need to get a manager who knows how to man manage a team, a no-nonsense manager who will be respected as feared by the team and finally a manager who can make them play like a team instead of individual players. That is what they need to become a European heavyweight club.
They have three best players in the world and they have a stable financial system to guarantee players about their salaries in the future which can be a reason for them to play with better conditions than other teams so I guess the fans expected to see more from PSG it's not coming odd, in the other hand, the players were bought for the champions league title if you ask me.
It's not a secret for nobody that everyone talks that PSG is missing a lot , they got kicked out of the UCL having practically the two best in the world, because Ney couldn't contribute to the game they lost, I'm sure that if Ney had played the result maybe There would have been another, or perhaps more closed, but they want to get out of Messi, they want to get out of Neymar , PSG will be pure Mbappé, I think that Mabppé's dream will come true because that was what he wanted, to put together a team under his demands, So now that it's possible I think it will come true , it's obvious to me that Ney wants to leave, he has a serious injury and I'm sure Messi will be bored by now.
