Marseille 2-2 Strasbourg. Marseille should have got three points after they led 2-0, but Strasbourg was able to make a quick goal and success equal the score, even in the last minutes Strasbourg almost got the win this team have a golden opportunity at home of Marseille. With this result, Marseille can only get one point and now Lens which will definitely be very happy with that result, because the gap between the both is not too far.

Monaco wasted too many opportunities because when you look at the statistics there are lots of opportunities but only 3 are on target for them. It's not that great actually but on the other hand Reims is also very decent. Even though in this match they were the visitors, they continued to press and made it difficult for Monaco. With this result a good 3 points for Reims and they are back in the top 8 now.

This is what I've been saying about PSG since.  A team as rich as they are should be able to get a decent squad and a decent coach. They have a very average midfield and an average defense. A good team is not all about a good first eleven, It involves a good first and second eleven. All that is good in this PSG squad is the attack and an attack is only as good as the midfield and defense. PSG concede so many goals and the midfield is not creative enough and they cant control games. I really don't know how that team is run. They need to be serious about the kind of players they recruit if they want to be a respected team in Europe and they cant do this without a very good and technical coach. Personally, I feel Christophe Galtier is not leaving up to the standard because his team do not play beautifully. They struggle too much even in matches they should be winning easily.

I know I said it a while back, and I know I wondered if Monaco had given themselves a lifeline after beating PSG, and I know I said it's all over, but tonight, losing at home in this pathetic whimper, I'm going to say it might even be over for them in getting a UCL spot.

11 games to go, but now they need to win at least 10, and that's expecting either Lens or Marseille to lose at least 2. Not going to happen, unless they beat Lens next month.

I also don't know how the supporters react to the competition. They can't possibly be satisfied. And neither do the management and the players. I don't think anyone is satisfied at all at the moment, all arrows were aimed at the CL and they are already eliminated there. they will win the league with force majeure, but they can't even win the national cup anymore because they were eliminated by Marseille if I'm right. It is not too bad that the team is not falling apart, although there are rumors that Messi wants to return to his old club Barcelona. And of course there is no challenge in the French league, and some players like Messi and Mbappe need that.

I did not pay attention to their head 2 head meetings and I just saw the odd of 1.91 for Monaco at home and immediately took it without thinking to much hoping for some easy win.In fact Monaco played very badly during the game and I have to say that during this week we have seen several surprise result so far not only in French Ligue 1 which this was the only surprise result as most other games came as expected but I am talking in the 5 major leagues in general and this was not a good week for most of the bettors.

Marseille now not being able to win against a weak team shows that they lack the capability to fight for the title and they should be happy with 2nd place,I have also a bet on them but I am not expecting them to win,they did not show anything in the first half.

Reims were undefeated away to Monaco as I expected and it didn't surprise me.They are really doing amazing things this year and I must say that they deserve appreciation.Their coach is doing amazing things.I don't think anyone would have expected such a performance from Reims. Reims are unbeaten in the league for 19 games and they are playing well. Monaco didn't play badly but I think the deserved winner won the match.
In the last match of the day, Marseille hosts Strasbourg.I have to say that Marseille started the match badly.I don't expect Marseille to lose this match but Strasbourg is the side that is playing well right now.

It was really a hard one to swallow. Monaco at home wasn't impressive. The left the whole dominance to Reims, both the possession and attempts. If not for the drop down in their performance, they would be ahead of Lenz in the top 3 standing. I wouldn't believe Monaco will find it hard to locate the back of the net even in their home, after a awful results in their last 4 matches. Philipe Clement needs to do something quick else Rennes will take him off hard.

If we look closely, we will find the fact that Paris Saint Germain has struggled more often in the matches they have played this season. Maybe I still understand that when they were still in the Champions League because we must have thought they were more focused on the Champions League, but now they have been eliminated from the Champions League so there is nothing more that can be used as an excuse why they often have trouble with real opponents not strong can even be said to be weak. Even so, they are still the strongest club, so even if they are weak, getting a title in Ligue 1 is still quite easy for them.

Monaco had to accept defeat at home against Reims in today's match with a narrow score of 0-1. Mbappe is a truckload of points ahead of number 2, but things could have turned out very differently this season. Of course there is no doubt about PSG's qualities this season, but they have very often won games in the last minutes.
