After that fixture with Nantes, the next match of PSG in the Champions League. Don't you think otherwise that they will like to reserve their good players such as messi and mbappe for the Champions League. They really have to reserve this players because Neymar Junior is already injured, and if Messi or Mbappe get injured again. It will be a difficult match for PSG to contend.
So you might not witness many goals in that match as usual.
PSG will aim at Champions League with a very tough match in Munich. They must win the match as a guest, not as a host especially they were destroyed by Bayern in Paris weeks ago. I believe their mind is reserved totally for Champions League and Ligue 1 is not their focus at the moment.
Now that Neymar is definitively ruled out for the game against Bayern Munich, it is even more interesting to exactly listen to
the words Galtier used when he explained Neymar's situation:
Neymar missing is bad for PSG but it's good news for Mbappe. He will be able to have his full show and let's see will he be able to bring PSG to quarter final of Champions League. Luckily for Mbappe, he will still get support from Messi in Munich.
I don't hate Mbappe but I don't like his high ego and I am really curious to see how he will play in Munich. If he can help PSG to win and move next, he will demonstrate that he is capable of bringing his club to success against big competitors in Champions League.
Missing the match is bad for Neymar but his career in PSG is mostly over. He and his team are looking for a new club for him in the summer. Rumor that he is aiming at Premier League and a club in his interest list is Chelsea.
Saying that Neymar is missing is good news for Mbappe is not quite right I guess. Neymar is a guy who doesn't spread positive energy and leads and motivates the team. He has bad nerves and is prone to losing control over his emotions.
But there is no doubt that he can also decide a game with the perfect pass or the perfect shot. Especially his passing, his high quality to assist goals is what benefits Mbappe a lot. That is why I think Neymar is missing is in total a disadvantage.
But I just read a couple of articles and PSG is optimistic and motivated to turn this around in Munich. I am not that optimistic, but wouldn't say that Bayern is safe yet. With Mbappe in a best condition and Messi also being fit, there is always a possibility for them to score two quick goals like we have seen when France played against Argentina and nobody thought France can come back.
