It is really impressive to see Nice come back at such a good performance,I know they started the Ligue 1 in a perfect way but then they start to disappear from such performances until recently where they came back and have won against Monaco but not only against them which was a shocking result for Monaco losing at home 0-3,they have also beaten Marseille,two runners up for the title.

Based on this I think Auxerre should pose no big threat or problem for them and this will be a straight forward game with Nice most probably winning it comfortably and continuing their good run.

Nice again look amazing. not only did they win against the weaker teams, but they also proved they could handle the stronger teams. even in the last 8 matches, Nice has not lost. Monaco just got hit by Nice, let alone Auxerre which is now almost dragged into the relegation zone. Nice will get 3 additional points from this match.

A minimum chance exists for as long as statistics don't prove otherwise, but it is really not realistic. PSG with being 8 points ahead right now, or they are actually 9 points ahead because when both have equal points the goal difference decides who is the champion and Marseille won't have the better goal difference. Even with injuries PSG would have a squad strong enough to maintain a small lead throughout the season. If they tie a game here and there but keep collecting points little by little, Marseille would have to grow beyond themselves and play a perfect season from now till the very end. I don't know how many things would have to go wrong for PSG such that Marseille (who could also suffer from injuries) is at the top in the end.

It was a really unbelievable match between Marseille and Annecy. Marseille could have actually finished the job by getting 2-0 ahead before anything else. But Malinovsky's great shot by a free-kick turned back from the post. After that Annecy scored two goals in only six minutes. It was really shocking for Marseille. Annecy were nearly even finishing the job in regular time. But Mughe was like a savior for Marseille only four minutes after he was subbed in. It was a really interesting goal in the last minute.

But still Annecy managed to eliminate them by penalties. It is really hard to believe Marseille have been eliminated by them when we think Marseille did the same to PSG which was the biggest favourite of the cup.

Week after week it will be more interesting now with the distance between the teams fighting for a place in the European competition there is not much difference, they can change their position in just this one game. Lens need a win to be able to maintain their position, while Lille needs a win to increase their chances of competing in Europe. They will certainly appear all out to achieve the best results.

8 points is a big point to cover in 13 matches against psg. This would be possible only if Marseille are consistent and stable. Infact if you talk of consistency, Monaco can be considered to be more consistent than Marseille despite being in the 3rd place with 50 points after 25 league matches.
Psg is bigger than Marseille and Monaco, despite the Champions League stress, psg will still lift the Ligue 1.

Just check few details about this match and with the outcome of this match is surprising as Marseille able to have one goal in injury time with this match ended in draw, and then we have exit for the second spotted team through penalties, and now we will have Annecy in the last four spot with Toulouse, Nantes and Lyon other three teams those are having their spots into last four and semifinals are going to play in April, but this second defeat in the row is surely not good for the Marseille after losing against PSG now they are opted out from the Coupe de France.

With current team's situation, most chances we will have Lyon as the champions of this season because they are doing good job and have good quality which can bring cup for themselves.

Maybe Lyon isn't the most logical choice here; I don't know. They've been successful thus far, but obviously anything may go wrong at any time. Toulouse could be the squad to challenge Lyon. Perhaps one of the lowest four teams, including those two clubs, will shock the world.

We cannot judge about Marseille and if they are going to be one of the top teams in the French league or not because still more than ten weeks left and many things can happen or change in these teams of the French league, but if the other teams like Monaco continue showing this performance I expect to see them in the second place of the table and take the Marseille place very soon and there is the same story for Lens.
