Marseille already eliminated from coupe de france caused by it was losing in the pentalty against annecy. Marseille already eliminated and it will able to take a trophy for this season. A bit surprised to see that Annecy was doing so well against marseille.

Marseille is not having chance to chase PSG caused by the gap was too big. Marseille must accept the truth if the club will not get trophy at the end of this season.

I think with PSG, Osimhen is very promising for their attacking system. That striker will combine well with Mbappe and he is ready to contribute for defense too. If PSG successfully to keep Messi one more season, Neymar leaves and Osimhen comes to Paris, they will have a more balancing trio attacking players. Osimhen can bring more energy, speed and strength for attacking but he will bring more support for midfield and defensive systems when opponents make counter attacks.

I'd like to see Osimhen in Paris than Kane and Vlahovic. Kane is mostly old and is not good for PSG in long term. Vlahovic won't be able to contribute much for defense.

Neymar is important for PSG but he has yet satisfied their expectation because the club spent too much money for him in his transfer and very high salary. They want to see Neymar contributes more for PSG to lift Champions League trophy. It has yet happened after many seasons he joined them from Barcelona.

He usually gets injuries a few weeks or one week before important matches in Champions League and that limits his contributions for them. PSG have reasons to feel bad about Neymar as he spends time for party and poker tournament that takes him a lot of time and maybe negatively affects his fitness too.

I do agree with you that Neymar has never delivered on what the 222 million actually promised... But it was more of a PR stunt I believe.

Now they need to see what is going to happen next. If Zidane is going back to Real Madrid the alarm bells might be ringing in regards to Mbappe. If Messi also hesitates to sign, PSG could be faced with an inconvenient situation that all of their three superstars want to leave the club.

Neymar is still one of the very important players for PSG now in my opinion. Maybe he had some personal issues in the team but they still showed a really good performance so far. The attacking trio is strong thanks to all of the members of it. Neymar is just a little injury-prone so this might be a problem for the team. But he doesn't get injured often from now on as well.

I hope that he recovers as soon as possible now. For the Champions League title PSG need all of their productive players on the field. This is another important season for them to take the first title in the Champions League finally.

So with this result, Is Marseille eliminated from Coupe de France this year?, or still have leg 2?. If a big team like Marseille loses versus Ligue 2 team Annecy, I think the coach and squad must be careful also about the position on Ligue 1, It's not possible the position on champions league zone will be shifted by a club like Monaco, and Lens which has only 2 different points.

PSG should had sold Neymar long time ago as he got injured so often and his contribution is not that big tbh. With the recent news about Boehly interested to bring him to Stamford Bridge, then it's a chance for PSG to get rid of him. In otherwise, it's better for PSG to keep him since he is starting to play well together with Mbappe. It would be a perfect combination if PSG able to sign a pure center forward like Vlahovic, Kane, or Osimhen.

Lens could have done better than this in the Coupe de France. They could have eliminated Nantes actually but they failed big time. Both of Nantes' goals came by penalties. Lens are the clear favourites in this match, irrespective that it is an away meeting. Some times I don't believe in home advantage, not even sometimes. Generally the advantages of home playing could be the presence of large number of fan base to cheer up the players and  not spending transport fair for that very week. Every other things remains the same for both home and away team.

Even Mbappé is king for the PSG management, and they are taking him as leading player for the time being and Neymar and Messi's contribution is also at his best with now they are going to face Bayern Munich in second leg match which is currently most important for them after losing at home by 1 - 0 with this all these rumors are just creating mess up another else and if we have any change then surely things could be open for the PSG fans and sporting world as well.

In third quarterfinal of the day Toulouse vs Rodez it's also full of action as we have 2 goals from home team Toulouse within just 10 minutes and look like they are going to have good win against another Ligue 2 team which also dong good job in early rounds after this we have last quarterfinal of the day with Marseille will host Annecy which is also going to be one-sided as Marseille is hot after losing match in French League against PSG badly.

Lens should be able to win this match easily, seeing from their position in Ligue 1 also Lens have a better advantage than Nantes. Even though this is the home game of Nantes, but as you said Nantes has a bad home record, conversely Lens can be more convincing in the away games they play so Lens should be able to win and I think it will really happen.

Nantes vs Lens will meet in the Coupe De France today and it looks like the match will be quite exciting before the Ligue 1 week will start again. However, Nantes, who is the host, has had a bad record in their last 5 matches at home and only got 1 win, 1 draw and 3 defeats, while Lens has a pretty good record away from home with 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat. I think this match will be Lens's victory, but a draw can still occur if Lens fails to take advantage of the opportunity to win.
