Lyon vs lens match ended as predicted, lens managed to win 1-0. Lyon continues to lose in the last 4 matches, nothing seems to have changed from Lyon, Lyon is still the same as last season.
But Lens is getting better. It is interesting that after 9 matches, Lens stayed without a defeat along with Marseille and PSG.
Lyon got the 4th defeat in a row which isn't good at all and I believe they will have hard times to compete in an european competition spot. The situation isn't any better for Lille and Montpellier..
Lens when compared to last season, they have improved now but this is still early of course and they still have to continue to maintain their performance so that their position is not shifted.
2 seasons in a row they have always been in 7th position and most likely if they are in this form and can maintain it is not impossible that their position is better than before.

I'm a little surprised that the performance of Lens so far is quite satisfactory, even Lens until the 9th round has not been defeated.
But it's too early to conclude that Lens will be in a better position this season, Lens had to play consistently until the end of the season
to get to a better position than the previous season and it wasn't easy. Although so far Lens has beaten Monaco and Lyon, both of which
are strong teams in Ligue 1. But Lens still has to face some other strong teams, at least Lens so far is enough to show they are serious
enough this season to want to achieve a better position than the previous season. At least Lens target must be in the top 5 so that next
season they can play in European competition, and we'll see if Lens is able to do that or not. Next Lens will face Lille, and if Lens can beat
Lille at least get closer to Lens to be in the top 5 this season.

it is mostly because Mbappe is not the only good player that can score in the team, and the play style of PSG and Man City is not the same, Man City are focusing more on one striker and PSG play more as a team, Mbappe should not get affected negatively by Haaland's success, like been too greedy and not passing the ball to his teammates, he should focus more on the team's success first and his comes second.
I don't know how long mbappe will survive with his selfishness, he can continue to get the ball (assist) from the others because other players still think he is a striker and their friend. PSG's toughest problem is this and it's impossible to fix it.

statistically PSG controlled the game with 57% ball possession.
meaning that PSG dominated, especially in the first half, PSG really dominated the game. unfortunately, there are many people who hope PSG will score a lot of goals in this match. including myself at first, but after seeing the starting eleven and the formation used by Galtier.

looks like Galtier is saving Mbappe energy for the champions league, as a result he sits on the bench.
but often we don't see the opponent's strategy, Nice really play defensively with a 5-4-1 formation pattern.
but as you said, if Galtier had included Mbappe as a starter from the start, maybe the result would have been different. despite all that, the fact is that SPG performed very well even though it was only a thin goal difference.
That's understandable, I mean if you see the roster that PSG has, you may expect them to win by 5 goal too, that's understandable. But just because they didn't win my 5 goals, doesn't mean that they didn't dominated. They dominated but failed to turn the possessions into goals, and that was the reason for the result, not the lack of domination.

In the end, they got the three points, as I always say that's the only thing that matters. They can get even better, but results will not change, no matter how amazing they get, if it's three points it's three points and nobody will ever get anything more. They do not give you points per goal, it's always 3.

Pretty impressively, despite the excellent performance of PSG, which lost only 2 points out of 27 possible, as many as two teams stay one game away (three points).
And I also wonder how Mbappe perceives the success of Haaland. At the moment, Mbappe is not showing anything special and is on a par with Neymar in terms of goals scored, while Haaland is showing a great game. I wonder if Mbappe realizes that at such a pace the Ballon D'ors will float away from him, will it hurt his psyche? As already seen, he is morbidly ambitious and jealous. This could harm both him and the entire PSG.

Mbappe cannot be compared to Haaland at the moment. Haaland has been playing brilliantly in every match. Mbappe, on the other hand, continues to behave selfishly. Mbappe should follow Haaland's style of play. If Mbappe plays this selfish way, no renowned team will be interested in keeping him in the squad in the future. Mbappe will definitely need to change his style of play.

Had big hopes on PSG and it was a big mistake, I don't care about their opponent because I think PSG will still win by at least two goals difference. But what happened they only won by one goal difference and in fact, PSG's second goal was made with difficulty. It turns out that their good performance this season is still not enough to break their narrow winning trend against Nice, even though Nice are far behind them in many factors and with their very low odds made me choose another option for handicaps and it ruined my multibet ticket because they only won narrowly.

Yes, I know what you mean, I saw the game in its entirety, but I can say something, that the second goal from a free kick by Messi was magnificent, Messi had previously tried to do it and it did not work out, until the same Neymar almost came out, but there is no denying that that goal was masterful, it was perfect and now because of the resolution of the screens it looked like he was playing Play5, that was very good, I think PSG is not that is lowering the level and that's why they win with a difference of 1 or 2 goals, it's because the league is getting very interesting, for me they have to do more merits, because the reign is running out for them, even Mbappé celebrated that 2nd goal as if it had been his.

PSG dominated this match. There is no doubt about that. Lionel Messi's free kick was one of the highlights of the game for me. Obviously, PSG was supposed to win this match. And I really feel like the goal that they conceded was unlucky.

But anyway, Mbappe came on the pitch as a sub and won it for PSG. PSG is obviously going to win the Ligue 1 title. The question is how are they going to perform in the Champions League? Their opponent in the Champions League is going to be Benfica. Considering the fact that it isn't a very challenging match for PSG, I expect them to win this match as well.
Yeah mbappe that guy is very lucky in the right position, even Neymar in that match can't scoring goals his accuracy rate decreased, want to be like Messi for scoring in free kicks but he didn't successful to shoot on target. For the Champions League, maybe PSG have a chance to win, but Benfica at this time should not to be underestimated, this team's performance is currently improving and I think it is quite challenging for PSG. By the way what do you think about Ajaccio? after getting promoted to league 1 this team looks like it will return to league 2, maybe this team not yet strong enough  to compete in league 1.

Well, PSG is leading the standings, it's nothing to be surprised about, however, on social networks, fans praise Messi's performances, they say that now he has found his good streak, however, I think that some internal problems they are still in the team, because it is said that even Segio Ramos has advised Neymar Jr because of the problem he has with Mbappé, really the problem with Mbappé is something that should not be happening, only that sometimes the managers of a team should not being so complacent with a player, because it is just that, a player, I am sure that at any moment of the World Cup in Qatar we will see another player shine much more.

On ESPN the good news and a quick little summary were immediate:

Quote
After a disappointing first season, Lionel Messi is flourishing in his second campaign at Paris Saint-Germain. Xavier Laine/Getty Images

Lionel Messi scored a stunning free kick and Kylian Mbappe struck a late winner off the bench as Paris Saint-Germain beat Nice 2-1 at the Parc des Princes on Saturday.

Messi's 28th-minute strike was his seventh of the season in all competitions for PSG this season. He's scored four goals in two games for Argentina on the just-completed international break.

Marseille is very close to PSG, it is a team that should not give up on what they are looking for, and with what I have seen they have shown, it is very likely that they can do a better job, they are a few points away fighting for first place, could we see a surprise from this team??

PSG really needs luck to a large extent for them to achieve their goal of lifting the Champions league. Their performance against Nice is a clear indication that Christophe Galtier has not fully solved their goal-scoring problems. Benfica is not a team that would be underatted. They won their last match against Maritimo by five goals to nothing. PSG would have to improve if they would be able to with that match. Kylian Mbappe's fitness would be a big boast to the club because he has proved to be one of PSG's most reliable goalscorers.

It is true that Haaland is the bride of football currently, but Mbappe is not also doing badly. Both players seem to be the most promising young footballers currently. Halaand is currently enjoying a well-organized team that has one of the greatest coaches, while Mbappe features in a team that had several issues and is managed by a relatively average coach. He is just recovering from injuries and I expect that Mbappe's performance would improve within a few weeks.

Even a thin goal difference gives you the three points and they were the main objective of PSG to get them.Their coach is thinking of course more about the Champions League as there they have failed every year while in the Ligue 1 they have no real opponents,we all know they will win it easily because having Messi and Mbappe on the same team gives you this assurance.I agree it is because of the Champions League that the coach saved Mbappe and did not make him play the full 90 minutes of the game.

I didn't watch the same game that you watched I believe Cheesy. I saw a team that dominated the game and PSG was amazing, sure they had trouble scoring a bit but they had plenty of chances and when a team has plenty of chances that means they dominated, the result of course matters but they won anyway. So, this is a game where we could say "it was only 2-1 win but could have been even bigger win" and that's domination to me.

PSG played very well, could be having some trouble playing together at the front three, Mbappe got in later on and scored, and I believe if they started with those three, they would have scored a lot more from the start. In the end, they managed to get the three points they wanted, and that’s important.

It looks like a quite challenging season is waiting for PSG in the league this time. But I'm saying this considering only the current situation in the league now. Maybe Lorient might not be very consistent but Marseille seem to be a big threat to them. They have been having a very consistent run in the league since they started to focus on the league more than the Champions League.

I'm pretty confident that their priority will continue to be this league as they don't find this kind of a chance to keep up with the best team of the league. I wonder if PSG will manage to pull away from them early to concentrate mostly on the Champions League.

whenever the leagues start we see scenarios like those in which there are small or medium teams that are provisionally in the first places and even in many cases these same medium or small teams manage to win many games at the beginning of the league, but when it arrives in the middle of the league they start to lose points and at the end of the league whoever is at the top is there the dominant team which in this case is PSG that will be at the top and unfortunately this is due to the few investments that medium and small teams make, these small and medium teams prefer do business selling players, they sell their good players to the big teams and at the end of the day these small and medium teams only play to stay in the league

Monaco 4 - 1 Nantes

as expected from monaco they won and managed to score 4 goals, they are playing very well, too bad they have no chance of winning the league, but at least they can try the first leagues

Sorry mate shit happens in football. Nice were impressive in their attack although not good enough to have secured a draw. At some point i was expecting a draw after the equalising goal by NICE because their defensee got so tight afterwards. But PSG had to play with so much team work and extra pressure before Mbappe could net the ball.
In the match between PSG and nice I also had High Hopes on Psg but I cannot say that they disappointed me. They were able to win and they also played over 2.5 goals so there is no disappointmen. We don't expect PSG to win with very high go margin every match. Remember last season nice got a very tough fight so they are no longer a small club. The most important thing is for there to be a win and nothing else
I was surprised by what NICE did, their defense was really strong after Laborde scored and made the match draw in the first half, besides that the ball possession was almost balanced

as usual, in this PSG match, we saw mbappe who rarely provided assists to messi and neymar, even though there were several opportunities that could have been goals. even so, he has performed well too by contributing 1 goal in minute 83'

I also appreciate the performance of Nice, which can make it difficult for PSG to play at their own home. Especially as you said
Nice's back line performance was quite solid, which could almost have ended the match in a draw. Unfortunately the Nice players
had difficulty building attacks because they were under pressure from PSG players and created few chances. But it is difficult to prevent
PSG from winning with the quality of PSG's players. Finally PSG managed to score the winning goal 7 minutes before the game ended,
PSG was saved by Mbappe who managed to score the winning goal for PSG. With this victory PSG back up to the top position.
While Nice should be in 13th position after suffering two consecutive defeats, I hope Nice can achieve positive results in the next match.
Because a team like Nice should be in the top 5, hopefully slowly Nice can find its best performance like in the previous season.

This game was a disapointement it was a one sided domination from lens especially on the second half, lyon performance have gone down recently and they were not able to shoot on goal all game long, they were lucky the score was not a large one i think their management should take precautions before its too late.
I expected a better performance from both teams considering their positions in the French league table. The match was a totally dissatisfactory, especially for the Olympique Lyonnais. They had no shot on target after making just four attempts. I was expecting Lyon to put up a fight after losing their four last matches. Their defense is doing a good job but the issue is their ability to create chances and score goals. Lyon has been suffering from a financial crisis since after the covid-19 and its American investor John Textor has not been able to match up with the spending of big clubs like PSG, hence they could not buy more quality players this season.

It was not totally a bad performance for Nice considering the quality of PSG. Although their attack was not spectacular in that match they utilized the only opportunity they had. Nice defense needs all the commendation because they were able to hold the attacking for PSG. Lionel Messi had a good match but Kylian Mbappe has proved again that without him no party for PSG. Although he was not totally fit for the match Christophe Galtier's gamble paid off after, and Mbappe scored the winning goal.

Today's last match of the French league, Lens vs Olympique Lyon, promises to be interesting. The favorites of the game are the hosts who have not lost the match this season. Lyon had a good start to the season but have lost the last 3 games. Both teams will probably want to fight for the top places in the league this season, so every point gained at the expense of a direct opponent is especially valuable.
