I think he wasn't selfish with PSG neither, the difference is that he played a winger at world cup, and he played a striker at PSG, and that means while he had to look to pass at world cup, he had to look for scoring at PSG. Messi scored a lot more on world cup than he assisted in PSG as well, because at national team he was a scorer, and at PSG he had other superstars he could pass to and wasn't carrying the goal scoring load all by himself like he does with Argentina. These are all tactical reasons and not personal or characteristic reasons.

Although Mbappe is scoring more goals than Messi in the World Cup, he cannot even come close to Messi's style of play. Because Messi has single-handedly led the entire Argentina team forward. Lionel Messi's feat in winning the World Cup is one football fans will never forget.

Mbappe ability is well known and he is one of a few brightest stars of a new generation after Messi, Ronaldo and Hazard, Bale, Neymar. Haaland is the only player in this young generation can compete with Mbappe.

Both of them are like Cristiano Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic and Bale in some personal characterisitcs. But none of them are similar to Messi who is a genius with unique skills and too broad vision on field

They are looking for replacement of Benzema but Mbappe is not a player they want to sign with after what happened a few months ago. It is unbelievable that Mbappe canceled the transfer at very last minutes.

If not Real Madrid, if not Manchester City, it is impossible to find other clubs which can satisfy Mbappe from salary to chances for winning trophies.

Newcatsle United is rich too but they are not better than PSG so Mbappe difinitely won't join them.
