Of course there are some exceptions like the season Lille won the title but it is rarely seen in the end. Having not even one team to compete with PSG till the end decreases the quality of this league a lot. But nothing would change as long as PSG stay as the only rich team in the whole league.
It's almost the same situation as the Bundesliga or even beyond it in my opinion. If in the Bundesliga we will look at Bayern Munich, while here we will see Paris Saint Germain as a team that maybe no one will be able to compete with them for now. Their finances were a major factor in why that happened, and other teams were not in the same health as Paris Saint Germain making it difficult for them.

We can't hide the fact that the interest of some players like Neymar and Mbappe in their contracts is a big salary and when PSG don't have the money then indeed they will still be ordinary clubs without the presence of some big players there.

The performance of Ligue 1 teams is weaker than last season. Lyon, Lens and Marseille, however, are yet to lose a match. But I don't think their performance is very good. I think PSG will easily win against these teams. A strong squad is needed to fight for the title, who can consistently perform well. But no team in Ligue 1 can consistently perform well. And so PSG is the favorite for the title this season too. And it is believed that they will win the title without facing any obstacles.
In Ligue 1 we have most of the teams losing quality because they are not capable of buying quality players and give tough challenge to PSG which is dominant team in French League for last one decade here the biggest issue is no prestigious cup and no entertaining soccer which is surely important for better investment. French soccer authorities needs to work on marketing as well because without this they have never been any chance of bringing big investors for their clubs, and they will be surely lost quality after every season and this is never been ideal situation for them.Few seasons back we have tough challenge from few teams like Monaco, Marseille and Lyon but sadly recently these clubs are also losing quality due to not good investment and having quality players for themselves which help them in this crucial time.

We should stick to the facts here. Did PSG over the last years epically fail in the Champions League? In my opinion they clearly didn't. They have delivered amazing fights against all the top teams. It usually never was going to be an obvious loss. Just last season they delivered an epic fight against Real Madrid and Madrid was lucky enough to land the lucky punch and make it to the next round.
In fact, PSG always fails in the knockout round which means the team still has a problem with mentality even having a player who often plays in that round, In reality, Messi and friends can't apply it on PSG despite getting the title on the previous club. So, I believe the problem is just coordination and mental club, if PSG can do in Ligue 1 so I think will not problem to do also in the champions league if the squad reduces self of interest.After looking at the 3 matches played by PSG in Ligue 1, where not only PSG can win 3 matches in a row, but PSG can also score a lot of goals.
