Paris St Germain trailing Monaco at home, who would have thought? To be honest, I thought they would easily beat Monaco, especially because it's a home game. But we still have to start the second half so there is nothing wrong in principle. Perhaps PSG will take it easy in the 1st half, and that a few star players have been given a rest. I haven't looked at the setup I must say. Monaco will now try to hold on to 0-1 for as long as possible, but that will not work. I expect a fast 1-1.

PSG struggled to score in the first half. They are 1 goal behind Monaco since the 20th minute but still can't get back. I think PSG can bounce back in the second half even though Monaco is a team that has often made it difficult for PSG so far. Not sure about the possibility of losing, but anything can happen to PSG today.Before that in the last 3 matches PSG managed to score 17 goals, it is hard to believe that in this match they will be very difficult to score. A draw is possible, but either way I think PSG will win the home game today. The performance of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe is expected to be able to push PSG's goal productivity even more this season.
PSG's gameplay today is a bit different from the last few matches. In other matches, PSG played an attacking strategy from the start. But today they are playing a bit defensive. Galtier may have changed his match strategy and maybe experimenting with the team. PSG made only 6 shots in the first half.
I still don't think PSG will lose. There are still 45 minutes left. That's enough time to score and win. From the start of the second half, PSG will play aggressively and try to score goals. My guess in this match was that PSG will win 2-1. Am I going to lose the bet?

PSG have an odd around 2.30 to win now. I think it is pretty tempting. Because I still believe in PSG to make a comeback actually. This happened to Manchester City also in the first half against C. Palace but we all saw that incredible comeback by Manchester City. There is nothing holding PSG back from doing so here. Galtier would ask for the trio to pull themselves together in the second half. PSG aren't playing too bad in fact but they just don't have many goal attempts. This is rare to be seen while all of Messi, Mbappe and Neymar are on the field.
PSG to score over 1.5 goals is also a pretty nice option to make a bet on @1.80.

PSG started the season off to a good start, the team led by Christophe Galtier went straight ahead and swept all three with a big win. PSG beat Clermont Foot 5-0, Montpellier 5-2, and crushed Lille 7-1.
While Monaco have not shown a convincing performance at all, after a 2-1 win over Strasbourg, Philippe Clement team were held by Rennes 1-1, then humiliated by Lens 1-4 at home. Seeing his declining performance, Monaco has the potential to become the next PSG victim.
PSG will have another amazing win because Monaco has been quite bad team and I am expecting that they will have like a huge win again. I do not think that 7 goals is that common and maybe that won't happen, but for the time being 7 isn't even that out of discussion, it could totally happen. Weirder stuff happened in football so I wouldn't say that it is impossible for them to get a draw or a loss, but do you really expect that? I could wager on 3.5+ goals and get a big win here, that is not bad odds if you check, even 4.5 is available, that could be valuable.

Right now, PSG's simple victory quotes are less than 1.20, and all derivatives of this quote are also small for obvious reasons. I see no reason to take risks for a meager profit. Monaco is not the worst team in France and an uncomfortable opponent for PSG, there is a possibility that yesterday's scenario with Bayern, which could not win in a seemingly simple match, will be repeated.

Strong enough for what? If Lille aims at becoming second in the league they are all set. I guess any club behind PSG is just trying to qualify for the champions league and that's it. I don't expect PSG to run into any serious issues whatsoever.
It might turn out to be a pitfall for PSG if they don't have serious competitors. The way Lille lost the game against PSG doesn't really allow for any hope. We might see a change in the dominance when PSG needs to play all competitions simultaneously.
I agree that second is the best that they can do, but even that doesn't look like it could be possible unless they can get some consistency. So long story short we are talking about Lille being good for sure, and could be second, but they are not "all set" right now, they need to be more consistent with how they play, look at the year they became champions and look at last year and look at now, that is wildly volatile just like crypto and they can't be like that, it would definitely hurt their chances, they look like a team that could be second or fifth to be fair, anything is possible.
That's always the biggest problem smaller clubs have to fight with. Teams like PSG have the bench with top players sitting around waiting for their chance. The smaller teams often have only 13 - 14 strong players (if at all) and if they have injuries or red cards it starts looking bad for them right away. In order to compete with a team like PSG you really need to be able to substitute a loss in quality sufficiently with another player or otherwise you won't be able to stay close to PSG (unless they have a very bad season).

Not sure have scenario like Bayern Munich after get draw last match for PSG, I think AS Monaco have bad performance on last several match before, last three games in Ligue 1 just once time won, draw, loss and I think not have really impressive performance this season in Ligue 1. I think PSG keep still dominance and have better performance than AS Monaco. It looks like the PSG v Monaco match will be an interesting match, maybe the final result will be like Lille or maybe even bigger. Comparing the performance of Lille and Monaco it seems that Lille is still better, but PSG can win by a big score even it is an away match for PSG. Now PSG will play at home against Monaco which it seems that Monaco does not have the ability to be able to draw PSG. Because of the three matches so far Monaco have only won once, drew once and even lost at home by Lens with a big score of 4-1. So yes, I think I will be very confident that PSG will win big even with clean sheets, because it looks like PSG for the start of this season is difficult to stop because their players are still very hungry for goals.
Monaco in last week's match could not play a good performance which made them slaughtered by a score that was quite decisive.They should have taken advantage against Lens in last week's game but it's a shame they didn't play well there.

PSG performance that continues to improve is very difficult for any club in Ligue 1 to stop, especially Monaco who have not been able to be consistent in the last few matches. It is possible that PSG will again get a big win over Monaco, because the performance of the PSG attacking trio is on the right track.
MNM Trio is playing great. Although Messi and Neymar clashed with Mbappe in the first few matches, PSG's performance against Lille showed that coach Galtier was able to resolve all disputes. Now PSG is stronger and more stable. And I don't think any Ligue 1 team can break their dominance.
Monaco's performance this season is not good. They have won only one out of 3 matches. I think they should come up with a change in match strategy. Two of their players have received red cards in the last two matches. It is very difficult to perform well in a match with 10 players.

I have noticed an important change in PSG's formation this season. As you can remember, Pochettino was preferring a formation with 4 defenders. 4-3-3 was the most used formation by him. However this has changed with Galtier's arrival. He preferred 3 defenders in all of the league matches so far. Marquinhos, Kimpembe and Ramos have made a good trio there. Since this preference, PSG scored conceded only 3 goals while scoring 17 goals.
We see a more attacking-oriented formation as a result and the trio of Messi-Mbappe-Neymar have a bigger responsibility about scoring more goals than the previous season. So far there is no problem but the most important thing is to maintain the same effort in the Champions League as well. Galtier must be under pressure to win the Champions League this season. Otherwise he might not work here for a long time.

Gatlier can make PSG is more productive this season that 17 goals from 3 matches proven PSG players were very sharp for each matches and today against Monaco i think it wouldn't be so different such as their previous matches that probably PSG trio will scoring goals again and win with big scores especially their opponent Monaco had poor performance even their defense is so weak and always conceded goals in the last 3 matches so i'm sure PSG will win the match with 3 goals margin or more

Who would've thought that lens team will be the one to put a pressure on psg on this beginning of season they are off to a good start they've beaten yesterday rennes team 2 1 in a really competitive game and they beaten monaco last round with a huge score 4 1, it seems that they did good by signing the striker openda he managed to score two goals already, lens team is on the first spot for now, they are a team to watch out for.
