Monaco and Lille lose their strength as I remember seasons when they are top competitors with PSG for the title. They sold their star players, many of them left Monaco and Lille and now they are in worse positions.

Hope that their scouts can find other talented youth players and grow them up. If their scouts succeed with their tasks, Monaco and Lille will return to top of Ligue 1.

This match, it seems Monaco have more chance to win it because they probably are stronger and have better form lately.
Monaco philosophy is built on nurturing young talents like Mbappe. And the club has no goal to keep them at team, they willingly sell them for a lot of money to top European clubs. And therefore it is very difficult to count on the fact that the club will be able to constantly be at the top of the standings, this becomes possible in certain seasons, when the team reaches the peak of its form. And then, as you rightly said, after the players are sold, the club plays mediocre again until it fosters new talents.
I agree with what you said, because in my opinion also clubs like Monaco which have weak finances of course only make talented players as a way for them to be able to make money and make the team's finances stable, Kylian Mbappe, James Rodriguez and Thomas Lemar is an example of Monaco's best players being released to other clubs, Monaco can even get a lot of funds from their sales so far, I think if Monaco can maintain the great talent they have so far, of course we will see a terrible squad from them.

This situation can be viewed from a different point of view - not having competitors and knowing for sure that in the end they will get the championship PSG can play relaxed and "for their own pleasure." This is very different from the situation in other championships where teams are always under psychological pressure and fear of losing points in some match. PSG may lose a lot of points but still remain in first place - after a third of the championship, their advantage over their closest pursuer is as much as 10 points.
They can't really play "on their own pleasure" because they are still seen as the dominant league winners who will win by a large margin every single game. The moment they have a tie or lose to a team, ANY team they will be seen as playing horribly for that game and there will be complaints from fans, bad things said about managers, talks about players not caring and all that until they win again.

I would rather play in Lille right now then play for PSG. They are doing badly this season but at least they got a win last year and that's all it takes to make the fans happy. They could suck as much as they want this year and fans will be just as happy because they already got their win and that's enough. PSG on the other hand was humiliated because they lost one, I mean imagine winning the league 153423 times in a row and just because one season someone else won, suddenly everyone attacks you.

But if we take it even more globally, for each individual player the situation does not differ at all in whatever club he plays - he must always play well because failures will bring him under fire. The pressure here is strong both on Ronaldo, who must live up to his star status, and on average players who must try to do their job. Therefore, in this sense, the pressure is the same and this factor can be discarded.
Now, comparing the situation of PSG and any English team that is fighting for the championship, we can hardly say that PSG has the same difficult situation, right? They can lose 3, 5 or even 7 points and still be the leaders. Yes, they will be criticized but they will have the title. But the conditional Liverpool, having lost 7 points, will not just fly out of the championship contenders, but possibly lose their place in the Champions League. I think the pressure on Liverpool and the criticism will be much tougher in this case.

Monaco is currently in 11th place with 18 points and Lille is in 12th place with 16 points. Them playing vs each other will be interesting as they both need the win. Both of them can jump high on the table like almost 6th or 7th if they get this win as the teams before they are not ahead by a big margin. Winning this match is crucial for both teams. I think Monaco will win this match by 2-1.
If Monaco are to win that game then they will have to watch out for Jonathan David as he can put Lille ahead in the game. So far David has scored 8 goals in 13 Ligue 1 games with Lille which would make him very dangerous for Monaco. Meanwhile if Monaco manage to win then I'm not sure they will last long in 6th position because another team will soon take over that position as well by winning their match. Lyon, Monpellier and several other teams will try to get point to improve their position in the standings.
It will not be that easy for Monaca to play at home while Lille also have Jonathan David as a deadly striker and can only watch out for Monaco's defense to keep him.
Monaco will not be able to jump higher because indeed it is seen from the results of other games and there must be a win, a draw, a loss, how to see it depends on Monaco whether it can jump with a Lille victory?

But the game of Monaco and Lille for me is quite balanced, between them maybe the result can be a draw at the same time.
Jonathan David is a pretty good player for the season both in terms of placement and in the form he has put in on the pitch.
this is indeed evidenced by his current achievement which is indeed incised half of all goals from lille at this time.
but on the other hand i think lille is now relying too much on him alone and this is not going to be good.
On the other hand, Monaco also doesn't have anything surprising during Ligue 1 starting until now.
I think this match tends to be a draw rather than winning a club.

Take a look at my merits, It's lucky number
I'd really like to say that the coming Monaco - Lille game next week is very important. But both teams are in a bad shape this season. They both are one of the middle teams in the league table. But we can see it as important in terms of the chance that this game could be a triggering one for the winner to start a decent form. Monaco is the advantageous side due to playing home. And there is a fact that Lille couldn't beat Monaco away in the Ligue 1 since December 13, 2009. This psychological dominance is also an advantage for Monaco. I expect each team to score and Monaco to win also.

I don't think Lille will think about their history, especially now that they are one of the strongest teams in Ligue 1, however, it is undeniable that AS Monaco is slightly stronger than Lille.

Speaking of interesting matches, we must not forget Lyon vs Marseille, the matches of these two teams always provide a very fierce and interesting game to watch.

The pressure on PSG is surreal. I mean imagine a team that would be considered "bad" if they win the league within 3-5 points. I do not remember any team to be expected something like that before. I mean them winning the league is not even enough, they also need to dominate the league as well. That is something surreal and I really hope that they really do it because that pressure may actually cause them to cripple and Mbappe to leave and maybe few other players as well. That is not something that I would love to watch, it is cool to have a team that is this big and this much expected as well.

This doesn't mean that they will achieve it or not, even if they fail I rather have this type of team that stay together even if they fail then a team that will do better after they go all to different ways.

PSG and Ligue 1 is the most surreal league in the big European leagues, in my opinion as a bystander watching the news but not the games.

And it was also surreal in English league all those years ago when Abramovich came into the scene and bought Chelsea and they won the league right after that.

Newcastle would be surreal if they didn't have any other super rich clubs coming. And in French ligue with just 1 super rich club (monaco used to be but a small fish now compared to PSG), of course expectations are surreal.
Many football clubs have changed drastically after the arrival of new rich owners, just imagine how PSG was once a club that was not able to compete but now they have been very dominant in the French ligue, I agree with what you said, now the achievement of a club is very dependent on the financial strength of the club, although there are small clubs that can champions but it is very rare happen so far, in my opinion now newcastle which was acquired by the prince of saudi arabia would certainly have the potential to turn into a very rich club and maybe even surpass the wealth owned by PSG right now.

Monaco - Lille match will be a very competitive one I believe. Maybe both of these teams are in a troubling situation considering their placements in the standings. But they are very close to each other still and this shows that it can be really competitive. My favourite is Monaco here. I think they can beat Lille. But if I bet on this match, my first choice will be both teams to score.
I think Monaco will win because they have to largen their points gap between Lille, and probably slide up on the Ligue 1 standings. But, we shouldn't underrate Lille in this match. Don't forget, this same Lille won the Ligue 1 title last season, Although, their performance this season haven't been impressive. The match will definitely be tough, and Monaco have to be well prepared if they really want to win. However, both teams to score seems the safest option you can bet on in the match. But, I hope to see Monaco wins.

All fans of the opposing team of PSG of course will not like messi being in the match and I think it's not only happening in France, but in almost every football competition that exists, the rivalry that occurs between the two teams will certainly trigger the fans to hate their opponent mainstay player, just like ronaldo when he was with madrid of course he was very hated by barcelona fans but he was very loved by madrid players and fans at that time, while messi's condition now, I think it's true as said by @ropyu1978 and we can see it seems like messi has been getting less support from other players at PSG and that's what makes it very difficult for messi to score goals so far, besides that the relationship between messi and ramos, Wijnaldum and Icardi  not getting better
This rivalry is beauty of European soccer because many loyal fans have serious issues, but good thing mostly never create big problems for teams as we have few years back when too many conflicts and fights between fans create big chaos and fines on clubs many other problems, recently we have some better situation. In case of Messi I am also feeling PSG other players still not accepting him or having some trouble in presence of Messi just because of this we have no results which was expected from this team after having him into team.

But, hopefully this all will be solved after some time because now it's fact he is going to play her for this season and PSG need some good response from all parties for this and having better results in Europe and Local league.

It was another comfortable week for PSG as they consolidated their position by defeating Bordeaux by 3-2 away. And most of their closest opponents lost points last week. I mean Marseille and Nice of course. Both of them surprised me by getting very poor results. By the way, Lens are still doing great and they are at the 2nd place after winning against Troyes by 4-1. They are the most remarkable team of this season I think. Maybe they won't be able to get very close to PSG because of their huge performance. But they still can end the season at the 2nd place which could be beyond their expectations for this season.
PSG is a very great club, they are also able to bring in Messi, but as far as I can see Messi is not happy at PSG, and Messi is not treated well at PSG, now Messi's close relatives have returned to Barcelona to become a coach, my question is maybe will messi go back to barcelona, and help their colleagues there..

I don't think Messi is not happy with PSG. I think he is not happy in France. I have seen in a number of PSG matches, as long as they play away matches, the opponents' supporters do not get along well with Messi. They scolded, threw bottles. These behaviour are very unexpected. I don't think Messi will return to Barcelona. Now Barcelona is not able to carry Messi's wages.

Yes, you're right, the truth is about time, because PSG has made me lose some money, something similar with Man United in the English league, however I think everything at PSG is focused on Messi, Neymar and Mbappé, Certainly Mbappé is the one who now leads the team, when Messi arrived everyone expected to see the Argentine leadership, but I think he must be going through a difficult time, he has not meshed well with them on the court, sometimes I see Neymar, Mbappe and Messi each running looking for their own game and not doing it collectively, I think they should put fame aside and give themselves more to the team, even though they won it didn't suit me much.

How did you lose money betting on PSG? They have now the best stats among all the top championships. Perhaps you were betting on their handicap wins or some special types of bets?
As for the team play, at the moment everything is going much better than it could have been - in fact, all three players claim to be the best in the world (not everything is justified) and this could cause discord in the team, but I do not see it.
