I think PSG will play with the main players, They will not take this match lightly and it is important to win this game to make the players mentally ready to face Real Madrid in the middle of this week. and the match proved that PSG was the most powerful in the French League.

putting key players in a game in which they lose doesn't change anything, it would be risky for them to put key players in that game, I doubt the coach will do that, PSG is more focused on the champions league, they know the importance of the champions league and in the championship they already have a guaranteed victory, they don't need to make an effort in this game against nice knowing that in the next game they will play against real madrid in the champions league

Lyon controlled the game well they did a lot of dangerous attacks in the first half and with a 5th minute lead scored by Romain Faivre was advantageous for Lyon who could play up the tempo of the game. I think this is a deserved victory for lyon where they continue to want to win to improve their standings while they are currently still in 6th position.

Lyon got a huge win against Lorient in an away game last night. Actually, both teams had similar statistics but one thing was important that Lyon were much more effective about scoring many goals. This 4-1 win should be enough for improving their morale a great deal. Now they are right behind Strasbourg by two points but we will see the other results too. Anyway second place is a definite place for tickets to the UCL next season, so it's no wonder Nice will continue to compete with Marseille for that position because they are only 1 point apart. Also, in the first match of the season the match between PSG v Nice ended in a draw and now, Nice are playing at home which is certainly a good moment for Nice to still get points even though it was only a draw but at least Nice got points. Lyon's performance against Laurent is certainly admirable. They played well. Although Lyon is a much stronger team than Laurent. Lyon was expected to win this match. However, Lyon's performance is very irregular. They dominated the entire match against Lorient and scored 4 goals. It was an enjoyable match.
Although Nice is a strong team in Away matches, they lost a lot of points in the home match. However, NIce won the last match against PSG. PSG was knocked out of the Round of 16 after losing to Nice in the Copa de France. Today PSG will definitely avenge this defeat.

Yes, finally with 1-4 score, Lyon can make any gap point again. But if Lens also wins the match, Lyon will be dropped again to 7position.
Actually, the match between Lorient vs Lyon is not a big game and not a kind of favorite game in this league. But, the way they are struggling so far is actually getting better.

For the league itself, PSGstill becomes the superior, like none, will be able to defeat. The point is really far from other clubs. It seems that no balanced club that is able to make a good playmatcth with PSG

The victory was quite a landslide though as you said, Lorient played very well in this match and indeed their chances were also quite balanced but could not maximize it well and their defense might be weaker which makes them keep conceding the ball.
After the previous 2 matches Lyon failed to maximize the points now they are right on the rampage

Even though Lyon has been bad, I would give them benefit of the doubt in this game. I mean we are talking about Lyon here, sure Lille beat them but they are last year's champions and 8th in the league. Whereas Lorient is 16th in the league and that's why I would expect Lyon to beat Lorient. Mind you, I do not mean like "easily", Lyon earned as many points in the last 5 games as Lorient did, 7 points in 5 games for both teams.

So, do not imagine that I am saying Lyon is "much" better, all I am saying is that there is a clear different and that's all. Assuming with that clear difference, I would expect them to actually win this game one way or another.

The Odds might look good and valuable for Lyon to win, but It won't be an easy game in my opinion. I'd as well expect a close game here, and I have a betslip with Lyon to win. Hopefully, they will.
