I guess any team that is even far from the title race basically doesn't want to lose points and yes, even though their points are the same but their stats are different about lose, win and draw. Besides that, the condition of the main players' readiness to be a differentiating factor in the field, so even though their points are the same I don't think it is a guarantee that the match will end in a draw. But yes, whatever the result in the match can happen but this time PSG remain the favorites and it is proven, PSG can lead 0-2 in the first 32 minutes.

The match between Lens and Strasbourg has just ended. I bet Lens won. Although I won the bet, I would say Strasbourg deserves to win this match. But their bad luck, they lose 3 point in this match. I would have been happy if the match had been a draw.

Monaco really needed this kind of a win to pull themselves together after losing five points in two matches in Ligue 1. And they benefited from their goal chances really really well and erased S. Etienne here. And it is a really interesting statistics that Monaco's all shots on target ended up with a goal.

Metz will be playing against Rennes at their home stadium today and both of these teams are currently sitting at the 7th and 8th spot on the table, the odds payout for Metz to win the match in full time is @3.50 which I find it kind of strange as Metz will be playing this match at their home stadium, I guess Rennes will be able to beat Metz at the final whistle today judging by the odds payout offered by the bookmakers.
You predicted it correctly.
Rennes really got a solid 3-1 win against Metz away. I also found the odds interesting and it really was indicating something like "Don't bet on Metz". Rennes already finished them in the first half by bringing the score to 2-0. The red card which was shown in the 51st minute to Doku made me thinking whether Metz could make a comeback but it went the other way around. I must admit that Rennes really deserved to be the winner here.

The top three teams in the points table, Lille, PSG and Lyon, have lost points in their last match. Lille and Lyon has draw their matche but PSG lost to a smaller team Nantes. This has made the point table more interesting. Lille tops the points table with 63 points, while PSG and Lyon are second and third in the table with 60 points. And Monaco are fourth in the table with 59 points.

In only four days, we are going to have a great match between Lyon and PSG. Both teams lost nearly the same amount of points in their last five matches in the league. Both side will of course want to win this and get ahead by three points from the other. It is also a big opportunity for Lyon to get past PSG in the table of course. PSG got a really shocking loss vs Nantes three days ago and they will also want to do their best to make up for that. Lyon getting a tie against Reims destroyed all their plans. Lille and PSG fighting real hard to win the league, I have to be honest and say that I did not expected Lille to be this good, they were 20 points PSG last year and finished the league with 49 points (cut short) but they played 28 games last year as well as this year so far and they have 12 more points compared to last year, PSG has about 8 less points as well so they meet at the middle give or take.
I really think that Lyon being close to PSG plays a big role, it really disturbs PSG a lot if you ask me, and that tie and impending PSG win could be very tough for Lyon this week, they may get further away. In the end 2 opponents is harder to fight than one, and PSG needs both of them to disturb them, if the only opponent is Lille, the moment they lose PSG could get ahead, so Lyon has to recover this with winning every game until PSG loses.

Lyon got an unfortunate draw against Reims and they were even nearly losing the game if it weren't for the Kadewere's goal in the stoppage time. But still they are right behind PSG and it is true that they are threatening PSG really well. But most probably, PSG will beat Nantes and make the point difference between them 3. But it looks like we will see this competition for the championship until the last matches of the league. I really love it as I got bored by PSG's dominance in the last years.

Yeah, it was very shocking for me too. I don't understand why PSG let Nantes play much better than them after getting ahead 1-0. It is really frustrating to see this when big clubs do this mistake against weaker ones and get the punishment for it. Even though Neymar was injured, it was not that hard for them to win it normally.

PSG were really good in the first half and had the control of the match also. I don't know what happened but things changed very much in the second half and Nantes were the side that were playing much better. PSG got only 2 shots in the second half which was terrible as they should have scored at least one more goal and secured the win. I loved Nantes' determination and they made an incredible comeback. Besides, it was a great week for Lille as PSG lost, Lyon got a draw and Lille drew with Monaco which prevented Monaco to get closer to them also.
