There will be 3 matches tomorrow,
Rennes     vs     OGC Nice
Metz         vs     Bordeaux
PSG          vs     Dijon

It is easy to assume that Rennes, Metz, and PSG will win. Because their opponents are very weak.

@Iranus I’m not so sure that the favourites will win easily in each and every fixture, because if you see PSG has been displaying mixed form in this season. Also if PSG loses this fixture then it’ll be difficult for them to retain their title, hence I feel that this shall be an entertaining fixture for both the sides.

Monaco got an unexpected result against Lorient after an 8-win streak in Ligue 1. Actually, Monaco played really powerfully but Lorient got the one point. Lorient got ahead 2 times and Monaco were nearly losing. Ben Yedder saved the team two minutes before the end. Lorient got another valuable point and they also defeated PSG before as we know which was very good for them.

After Half time
Angers     1 -2     Nantes
Dijon       0 - 0    Nimes
Mets        1 - 1    Strasbourg
Rennes    0 - 1    Saint-Etienne

I thought Angers, Mets and Rennes would win today. But after the first half, Angers and Rennes are 1 goal behind. Hopefully, they will play better in the second half.

Paris SG - Nice
Reims - Lens
Lyon - Montpellier

Lyon has the chance to be top of the French league tonight with a win at Montpellier; while PSG would seek to reduce the point gap to 1 point atleast until Lille play tomorrow.

My predictions

Paris SG 3 - 1 Nice
Lyon 2 - 0 Montpellier

Paris SG - Nice
Reims - Lens
Lyon - Montpellier

These are my predictions for these games. Lyon will have an easy game against Montpellier I think if we consider their performances in the recent times. Also, I think there is no way PSG losing points against Nice. Despite having losses like Di Maria and Neymar, they will defeat Nice here. Lens are the another team having an awesome season. I think they will defeat Reims.

Neymar is injured. If Neymar does not return to the field before the match against Monaco, it does not look like PSG will be able to win against Monaco. Monaco is playing great. They have not lost in the last 9 matches. It is very difficult to maintain such a great form for a long time. But they have been able to do it. I don't think PSG can win against Monaco without Neymar.

The PSG-Monaco game is going to be on Feb 21. But according to Transfermarkt, Neymar's return date is Mar 10. Hence, it means that he will miss 6 games in this period. And he won't be able to play against Barcelona in the CL in both matches also. The rematch is on Mar 10 though. So maybe we can see him in that game I don't know. PSG can have big difficulties in his absence.

Neymar's return date is March 10. And their second match against Barcelona will be held on March 11. I don't think he will be able to come back from injury on March 10 and perform well on March 11. If Barcelona play with some caution, they will be able to win against PSG. Calm and see what will happen.

Yes, I also want to try to stay positive for Barcelona against PSG in the first game. They can turn this situation to their advantage and get a nice result before going to Parc des Princes. But the rematch will be hell of a match for sure. I think PSG can demolish Barcelona there.  Cheesy

What a pity guys! As you know Neymar will miss next week’s Round of 16 1st leg Champions’ League clash with Barcelona and that's really important for PSG. I am a Real Madrid and PSG supporter and this is a very sad notice for us. We really support the PSG team but they have lost probably their best player. Let's wish a fast recovery guys. Cry
Neymar is injured. Assuming, he will not be able to participate in the next two matches. And both matches are very important for PSG. If they lose to Monaco they will lose their place in the points table and if they lose to Barcelona in the Champions League they will have to give up the dream of winning the Champions League.

In the absence of Neymar, PSG will have to play much better not to get poor results. Because he has very nice statistics. I especially wonder what results they will get in the games against Barcelona in 4 days and Monaco in 9 days. The situation would be an advantage for Barcelona in the CL game.

Lille, Lyon, Monaco, and PSG all scored 3 points in their last match. It is not possible to predict now which team will win the title this season. The top four teams in the points table have equal chances to win the title. However, Lille and Lyon seem to be very stable this season. On the other hand, PSG has a bunch of talented players.

All of these teams have had impressive statistics recently. Especially Lille have been winning for 5 matches and Monaco have been winning for 6 matches. For 8 seasons, PSG dominated the league with 7 championships and Monaco became the champions once. So, it wouldn't be bad to see a different team being the champions this time.
I also don't want to see PSG as the champion of this season. I'm annoyed to see PSG take the title every season. Lille and Lyon are playing very well this season. I think they will be able to win the title if they can continue such good performances. But it is very difficult to hold on to such a great performance till the end of the season.

@Iranus no one wants to see PSG win the title this year, and since Pochettino has yet not won a title this may be a golden opportunity for all other teams to keep the pressure up and ultimately prevail over PSG.

Furthermore Neymar is injured and his absence could hurt them, however it’s yet not known for how long will he be out injured.

Montpellier didn't get a win in away games for 4 matches (2D 2L). In the last 5 head-to-head games, Montpellier won twice, Lyon won once and the rest of them ended in a draw. Montpellier beat Lyon 2-1 on Sep 15, 2020.

I think Lyon can benefit from Montpellier's bad performance recently and get a win here.

The score stayed like that. Payet got a red card at the 90 minute.
Also to note is that Canal+ has bought back the TV rights for the Ligue 1&2 from Mediapro who had stopped paying, for this season, pending a new tendering process for next seasons. Canal+ basically paid what they wanted to pay all along, about €650 millions, while Mediapro promised almost double that, but could never pay it.
The times of the pandemic affect all financial aspects of world professional sports and football in particular, from the amount of transfers, contracts with players and ending with television rights, which already occupy a significant part of the budget of football clubs, especially given the rules of financial fair play , the implementation of which is closely monitored by UEFA. Now it is much more problematic to plug the holes in the football club's budget with financial injections of Arab sheikhs.

Marseille ? - ? Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain are 6 points off the league table in the 3rd position with Lille being the league leaders with 54 points. A win for Paris Saint-Germain takes then 2nd, 3 point behind leaders; its a compulsory victory for Pochetino and his players. Can they get a victory away at Marseille ?

PSG are leading 2-0 right now and there are about 13 minutes left for 90 minutes to end. In the game Neymar started in the subs (he has been in the game since the 65th minute), Mbappe and Icardi scored the goals. I can't say both teams have a very nice performance. But it looks like PSG will manage to be the winner. If it ends like this, PSG will increase their points to 51 and maintain the 3rd position.
