Previously PSG looked a bit passive to sign Osimhen because the price asked by Napoli was very high, although PSG is a rich team but it seems that they realized that Osimhen is not worth more than 100 million euros at the moment, but after that Napoli began to make a fantastic bid (€200 million) for Napoli in order to get two important Napoli players, namely Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia but so far Napoli is not willing to let go of Kvaratskhelia, Napoli who need money to sign Lukaku seem willing to lower the price of Osimhen and that is why currently PSG is still trying to negotiate to lock in Osimhen transfer deal for 100 million euros and reportedly Osimhen's agent has been in France to immediately complete the transfer process and Conte has also confirmed that Osimhen will leave Napoli in near time.

PSG basically doesn't need more attackers than players in other positions. PSG needs strong and creative defenders and midfielders, both of whom can support the game better. So far, PSG have signed strikers too often instead of midfielders and defenders, so their transfer approach in the transfer market is not very good in my opinion.

Instead of bringing in a striker, I think PSG needs to consider some experienced and quality midfielders. They also need a good player on the left wing instead of just relying on Barcola, but as users we cannot intervene in any way about a team's transfer approach. A team with a style of play like PSG really needs good midfielders and wingers, while there are already too many center forwards in the squad.

Of course, this will be Marseille's best signing because Greenwood is a player who has quality and still deserves a better place, but Greenwood is still having difficulty getting a team because his case has not been accepted by many parties, and in Marseille they have not fully accepted Greenwood's arrival the mayor of Marseille also very firmly rejected the player's presence and asked the club to block his transfer, but the club has confirmed that it will come to this player and now the agreement is almost complete.
Hopefully this can be resolved and Greenwood can be accepted by the club and the mayor of Marseille, because apart from Greenwood being a good player, he also still has a lot of time to make his career brighter even though he is only at the Marseille club. I still think that the French League will be a little different next season and with several players coming there through several teams it can at least change the side of the competition in the French League and show a more interesting game than last season.
This happened because of a silly mistake that Greenwood made so he received a lot of rejection. because I'm sure if there were no such cases he would still have a place at Manchester United. But when he made a mistake, everyone started rejecting him even though he was a talented player.
This can be a lesson for other players where a stupid action they take will have a bad impact on their career. They have to consider everything so that they don't make mistakes that ruin their careers. The reason is that apart from being on the field, they also have to be able to maintain their attitude when they are off the field.

It is like saying he is not for sale, and that means if Osimhen wants to leave, but not allowed to leave, all he will do is just wait until his contract is over and he will be fine to leave for free. That would be stupid of Napoli to do, just accept the highest offer PSG could go to, and then sell Osimhen, and buy Lukaku, and the rest can be used to make the team better.
If the situation is like this, Napoli will be very disadvantaged because Osimhen no longer feels comfortable playing with Napoli again because he feels the club is deliberately making it difficult for him to go to PSG. The interest from PSG has changed Osimhen's perspective on his future, he could get a place in the Champions League with PSG and win the Ligue 1 title there, while at Napoli he will have difficulty regaining the Scudetto like he previously achieved with Spalletti. Napoli need to consider the offer from PSG before it is too late, they can use the money to buy Lukaku and other players according to the team's needs.
2026 is the contract Osimhen signed last season, which means there are 2 more seasons left for Napoli to make a decision. If they keep Osimhen there is a risk that his performance will decline again and Napoli's price will decline again. Like this time, they didn't find a team that could make a high offer to this player, that's because Osimhen's own performance has declined slightly.
If Napoli are willing to let him go for a lower price then Osimhen can be kept, they can even let him go for free if they keep him until his contract ends. It goes back to Napoli's choice, because I think Paris Saint Germain is the team that has offered the highest so far.

It's not confirmed yet but Osimhen is getting closer to PSG. Since they lost Mbappe they have been trying to fill the place of Mbappe in the team and Osimhen could be an interesting option, especially because of the age of Osimhen he can play there in PSG for years.
However, Napoli wanted to get 130 million euros for Osimhen first but now it seems they accepted 100 million euros. Osimhen even wants to put Napoli under pressure to let him go because he doesn't want to stay in this team anymore.

I do not think that Osimhen would be worth 130, like even Napoli probably won't ask that much, that seems like not a good deal at all. I believe that if Napoli wants to make this deal happen, they can ask PSG 80 million and it would be done today, right away. This is why they are trying to find that right balance, they are asking way more than what they should, so that they would be asked to go down, PSG will give a counter offer, and then Napoli will counter that, until both teams agree on a deal.

Alternatively, both teams could keep doing this, and then in the end both teams could realize that they are not going to meet in the middle, and they can't get any lower/higher for each other and the deal will fall through. This has happened many times and if Napoli insists on keeping that price that high, then I am sorry but no team would ever buy him.

It is like saying he is not for sale, and that means if Osimhen wants to leave, but not allowed to leave, all he will do is just wait until his contract is over and he will be fine to leave for free. 130 million for Osimhen? Its expensive, but Napoli isnt stupid. They notice PSG's interest, know he's Mbappé's heir, and know they have a goldmine. Starting negotiations high? Business 101. They're curious how much PSG will pay. Osimhen's contract expiring is a concern. Also a leverage point. Maybe PSG becomes terrified and ups their offer

Chelsea is involved, so its chicken now. Who folds first? Its not just about money. About strategy. If Napoli plays this well, they either get a huge salary or maintain Osimhen, strengthen the squad, and challenge for the Champions League. They win either way. I adore high-stakes poker. Football is exciting because of this. It goes beyond the pitch. This is about agreements, negotiations, and drama. You should read about this transfer tale.

There have been serious talks between both parties, I even saw somewhere on the media that osimhen has agreed to moving to PSG and PSG has also agreed to wanting to sign him and it's just remaining for the club discussions to be concluded and it will be confirmed if  the deal will pull through or they will have to drop the deal, so far most likely Napoli may be the reason osimhen is still held back and yet to move. Osimhen just wants to leave and Napoli isn't conclusive about letting him go and so they keep delaying the process and making negotiations even tougher than it would have been. Hopefully PSG gets this deal pull through as they are seeing him to fit in to replace mbappe.

They bought him when he was not so in demand and paid 70 million for him, so it is logical that De Laurentiis would like to earn something, since he believes that Napoli developed Osimhen and revealed his potential. If I’m not mistaken, teams from the Premier League are ready to pay 70 million for him, but PSG are ready to agree to a price of 100 million. Since they were unable to agree on the transfer of Kvaratskhelia, they switched their attention to Osimhen and they need to bring this transfer to completion, since before the start of a new There's not much time left in the season.
This seemed to backfire for Napoli, because they didn't get the offer they wanted. However, it was natural because Osimhen's performance had declined slightly so that other teams thought twice about granting or agreeing to Napoli's wishes. IN last season Napoli could get a bigger amount, but they chose not to let Osimhen go, so now when they want to let Osimhen go the price has dropped again.
Paris Saint Germain is confused about finding a player who can replace Mbappe, many players have now officially joined or stayed with their previous team. Only a few players are currently ready to be sold, one of which is Osimhen. It looks like they will still continue hunting for players with great potential rather than looking for young seeds to develop. I think Paris Saint Germain will experience a lot of problems next season.

According to his transfer value on transfermark Osimhen worth to 100 million and after seeing this information i am sure Napoli won't be sell him below to that price and about 130 million if i am not mistaken this is Osimhen release clause price and it was activated since this summer so those who want to buy him they have to pay according to this price but indeed all of it is depend on Napoli owner Aurelio de Laurentiis because if he willing to lowering Osimhen price then i am sure this transfer will be done quickly

About 80 million i don't think Napoli will sell Osimhen on that price because when Napoli bought Osimhen on 2020 from Lille they have to spend 70 million plus ads on as transfer fees which at that time Osimhen broke the records as the most expensive transfer in Napoli history and also this transfer is making him as the most expensive African transfer in Europa however i think Osimhen transfer seems stuck because although some of big clubs were interested to him but none of them is dare to bid him because previously we see PSG who almost certain to gets him and now the rumours is appears again that Chelsea too is ready to compete with PSG and they also dare to buy Osimhen with expensive price too

It hasn't been confirmed yet, but it looks like this transfer will actually happen. It is reported that Napoli wants to get Romelu Lukaku, that is strong enough reason to think that Osimhen will leave the club. In this saga we can't just link Osimhen with Paris Saint-Germain, on the other hand Chelsea also want him to play at Stamford Bridge. All decisions are in Osimhen at this time, he can determine where he will play next season.

@bestcoins1 I totally agree with your submission about young players who started their professional football career in England and how they tend to succeed in other leagues. The English Premier League is arguably the strongest league in the whole world and that's why you see young stars who struggled to establish themselves in the league blossom whenever they join other league but for Mason Greenwood, he was already a star at Manchester United before the alleged rape incident that almost cost him his career. Last season, we saw how he was impressive for Getafe who I thought will sign him permanently but since he is now an Olympic Marseille player, I have strong belief that the Englishman will excel in the French club.
Apart from that, it would also not be possible for him to return to the Premier League again if he could have a much better career in the French League. Because big teams will definitely monitor players who have had good careers and are not too old, so it could also be possible for Mason Greenwood to move to another league after being in the French League. And I hope there will be much more competitive competition next season because considering that star players like Mbappe will no longer be in the French League next season.

Greenwood is a stud student. Coming from the EPL, the youngster has talent; he played for United. We are well aware of this. Ligue 1, however? Yes, he'll most likely perform well; Marseille isn't PSG. PSG is quite another animal, man. We all know how that goes; they are like to France's Bayern Munich. Greenwood's good, but let's not pretend as though he will be changing the league alone. We'll chat if he regularly ranks highly and rises to be a top player. For now, though, let's simply appreciate seeing the child play
As we know, Greenwood's condition at Man United is not that good, his performance is also not that optimal. because there are indeed several cases that made his career not that good at Man United. There are many pros and cons related to it. Yes, it's possible, but by moving to Marseille, he can change people's opinions and make his performance truly optimal. However, at Marseille, he will definitely be one of the main lineup who will have more playing time, we'll see how this 22 year old Right Winger will perform at his new club.

Lyon has now officially announced its newest player who has just signed on a 4 year deal. Yes, Georges Mikautadze, Center-Forward from Georgia who also recently strengthened the team at Euro 2024.

When it comes to Osimhen topic, there are still fresh news written about him and PSG. They are still pushing for him after losing Mbappe for free. There is a price tag of 130 million euros for now as you have also said. Some sources such as DailyMail are writing it like PSG is trying to convince Napoli for a deal of 100 million euros.

This reminds me of the Harry Kane transfer by Bayern Munich. I feel like PSG is also going to find a middle course with Napoli, maybe for around 110-115 million euros.  Smiley

I believe Napoli should sell Osimhen while they have a good chance. Otherwise their story might also turn into the Mbappe - PSG one.

The negotiations hasn't been easy for the both clubs, but one thing is certain, Victor Oshime is clear about not playing for Napoli anymore.
Paris Saint Germany and Napoli will definitely do all they can to make sure that they come to agreement on the right valuation for the Nigerian International.
I don't think he is worth, 130million Euros but should be €100M. He is a fighter, I know him very well. He will also give his all for Paris Saint Germany.

They will both the President and Manager has confirmed that Victor Oshime would be leaving the club. Romelu Lukaku has been lined up to be his replacement. Reuniting with his former Boss sounds great to him.

Young strikers who have played in the EPL will certainly not have much difficulty adapting to a new team in Ligue1, especially since the competition in Ligue1 itself is not that competitive. However, with Greenwood's presence in Marseille in Ligue1, it is certainly hoped that it can bring a little change to the competitive scene so that Marseille can become a tough rival for PSG next season, although I am also not immediately convinced that Marseille will be able to stop PSG from winning again in Ligue1 next season.
Becoming a tough rival for PSG isn't something that can be made possible by a single transfer deal don by Marseille, looking at the ligue 1 PSG has got the best depth such that it will cost others a fortune to get such depth PSG and then it's been a normal over a long time for PSG to always have their way around the ligue 1 but then this doesn't dispute the fact that PSG can at some point loose dominance in their domestic league but it wouldn't be because a team got a single new player as there are good likens to such player in PSG. Marseille needs more to stop PSG. I know greenwood will help Marseille a whole lot and will definitely not find it difficult as he has played in a more competitive league.

According to the price tag, both of them wants the deal to happen; Napoli wants to let Osimhen go but with higher amount of money of not less than 100m, while PSG will want him to represent Mbappe; therefore, I will be expecting the teams to come to conclusion or Osimhen leaves the to another team if PSG doesn’t look serious in the deal and I am sure PSG will make it happen through negotiations.

Marseille don't have what it takes to be a rival to PSG who the league is like a birth right to them. PSG is the only best team in Ligue 1 and so far we have not seen a club that is competent enough to win the league from PSG but I believe that in future there will be one.

This was how Bayern dominated Bundesliga for a long time until last season that Leverkusen was able to build their team and dominated Bundesliga without reserve, so I believe someday we will see PSG in second or third place in Ligue 1.
While previously Marseille arrival of Aubameyang who is Europe top striker did not make Marseille a contender for the Ligue 1 title, then what do we expect with the arrival of Greenwood now? Next season, De Zerbi will handle Marseille and with his intelligence in coaching, perhaps he will be able to improve Marseille playing performance next season, but to become Ligue 1 champions of course it seems like it is just a dream that is difficult to realize, although it is not impossible but to break PSG dominance in Ligue 1 is a difficult job for teams in Ligue 1 so far, Greenwood has now joined Marseille and his arrival is no different from Aubameyang previous joining which has had a positive impact on Marseille performance in league but will not change their status from team just competing to get champions league tickets.

If we notice so far,  the ligue 1 and the bundesliga have little in common in terms of dominating teams in the league, last season Leverkusen had managed to break the dominance of Bayern Munich after Bayern Munich winners for 11 consecutive seasons, as well as in Ligue 1,  Previously Lille was able to break PSG dominance in ligue 1 in 2021 and it happened after 3 consecutive seasons of PSG winning,  uniquely, once every 3 or 4 seasons we will see another team that is lucky to make PSG in the 2nd rank in standing, but whether next season will be repeated may be worth us to see because since Lille won ligue 1 in 2021, PSG has again dominated the league for the last 3 seasons.

But Marseille team is lucky to have Greenwood. Greenwood is a talented young player. And Greenwood's fitness is good enough. And Marseille will certainly benefit from Greenwood's addition to the squad. Ligue 1 is relatively less competitive. So Greenwood might be able to score more goals next season.
Greenwood can actually compete in La Liga. He is a young player and has great talent. But I think his decision to move to Marseille this season was also a good decision. Greenwood is still 22 years old and maybe he will get lots of opportunities to play with Marseille. Greenwood has competed in the EPL so I think he will have no difficulty adapting and will become one of the best strikers in Ligue 1. I hope Greenwood can perform very well and consistently in Ligue 1 and will see his name on the list of Ligue 1 top scorers.
