Before this match, Lille are going to play games against Monaco away and Nimes home. Let's say that Lille got 4 points from these two matches. PSG also are going to play games against Nantes home and Lyon away. Let's also say that PSG got 3 or 4 points from these matches (maybe they could lose to Lyon as they lost in this season before). In this situation, Lille will still be the leader and PSG will be the 2nd. When it comes to PSG-Lille then, they had a match against each other this season and it ended so boringly, 0-0. Getting only one point will even be good for Lille but this time I don't assume that we will see no goal.

@Iranus when the difference for the top spot is so low then in the end it all comes down to the quality of the player’s, and we all know that PSG has superior player’s in comparison to their closest competitors. Also I feel that PSG have the X factor because of their new coach Pochettino, and hence I believe that PSG will win the title.

Rennes were absolutely terrible against Lyon yesterday. They got 12 shots but only 1 of them was on goal which was awful. Lyon could have even scored more goals but the score was stuck at 1-0. It is still a win for them though. Lille and PSG also won their games so Lyon keep following them as the 3rd and they are right behind PSG being 1 point away.

Yesterday lille got three important points at the last minutes which made them keep their first position i made a bet on them after lyon win i thought that they will be more motivated because of that and they prove it they kept trying until they scored.

Tomorrow there is going to be a super intense Ligue 1 round and I would concentrate on the first four teams of the league Lille, PSG, Lyon and Monaco.
Lille, the pack leader, will probably hae the most difficult match against Marseille: a double chance, home or away should be good here.
PSG should be able to defeat Bordeaux, which is playing very bad lately.
Lyon will face Rennes but I do not believe visitors to be posing a major danger to Lyon.
Monaco, also, should get three points in Strasbourg.
However, anything could happen and because the top 4 teams are very close, expect some shifts in the standings if things do not go as planned.

Lyon should be very thankful that they didn't lose to Marseille after getting a red card. In the second half, Lyon couldn't do much in the second half but Marseille also couldn't manage to score a goal despite playing better. After this result, PSG have left Lyon behind and maintained the second place.

Pochettino's presence at PSG began to cause internal problems, Mitchell Bakker felt annoyed and frustrated that Pochettino had not given him

When reading these sort of news it is better to take them with a grain of salt. What happens to one particular player cannot be representative to what may be happening to the team as a whole. Before calling some internal crisis I would wait for a few more games (also considering the next important Champions League game).

It really is true that PSG are far away from their dominance in the older seasons. But I think they will continue to fight for the championship until the last week despite this kind of bad news for them. To be honest, I'd like to witness a different team than PSG be the champions this season. Grin

Being 7 times champions in the last 8 seasons is really insane for PSG.

I think this round results were in favor of lille since they are still in the first place two points away from psg and three from lyon but they are losing some points at home they need to work on that or they could lose their first place.

So far this week, Lille got a draw vs Strasbourg 1-1, PSG demolished Dijon away 4-0 and Monaco defeated Brest home 2-0. Marseille-Lyon is going on and the score is 1-1. I think Lyon can also win a victory. If they win, they will be 1 point behind Lille and be at the 2nd place. PSG will be at the 3rd place being 1 point behind Lyon.
