we may be too early to speculate but expecting Osimhen to be a replacement for Mbappe seems to be very impossible and it would only be PSG dream to get Osimhen while he is still under contract with Napoli and on the one hand, Osimhen knows how PSG treats Mbappe, who is always in trouble when he wants to move to other teams to improve his career and maybe Osimhen is also thinking about his future career, perhaps if he moves to PSG he will only be a League 1 star, not a UCL star.
Actually PSG performed quite well in the UCL. They made it to the semifinals and that means they are among the elite European clubs. But the problem is that Ligue 1 is often referred to as a farmers' league so not many media highlight Ligue 1. Honestly in my area if there are several matches in one night people will choose to watch the EPL, La Liga or Serie A rather than the Bundesliga or Ligue 1. If Osimhen wants to be a UCL star I think PSG is still very viable because they will almost always play in the UCL every season. But your performance in the league will not be highlighted by many media and this will affect Osimhen's career.

It would be better for Osimhen to play at PSG if he only stays at Napoli, because at PSG at least Osimhen can guarantee to get a trophy every season. Meanwhile, if Osimhen only plays at Napoli, the reality is that to being able to compete in the top four is also difficult for Napoli. Also, PSG recruiting Osimhen is not completely to replace Mbappe's role, because at least Enrique will also adapt the right strategy and tactics to the players in his squad. Moreover, PSG is still making great efforts to be successful in the Champions League and thus, of course playing at PSG will be better because of its continued efforts to make better improvements.

Everyone is too busy discussing Kylian Mbappe leaving PSG and discussing their concerns about who will replace Mbappe, whether it is Victor Osimhen or Kvaratskhelia.
Everyone forgets that in the previous season there were rumors that PSG would bring in a striker player on loan but it would definitely be permanent when Mbappe left and that was Gonçalo Ramos, who Enrique now believed could replace Kylian Mbappe.
Gonçalo Ramos managed to achieve 11 scores and 1 assist in League 1 which is proof that he is worthy of being a replacement for Kylian Mbappe in the coming season.

Then what will we think again about our worries?
Meanwhile, there is actually already a replacement for Mbappe who has now been made permanent in January 2024, are we still worried?
PSG is the world's most glamorous club. They have money, a stadium, and fans. But honestly, Goncalo Ramos? Not a "wow" signing. And Kolo Muani? Good but not Mbappe-like.

I like Enrique. It's a challenging task for him. No, not the Spanish national squad. PSG has many talented young players, but potential doesnt win trophies. Experience is needed. They need leaders. The PSG owners are smart. They know they must spend money to advance. It wont be easy to replace Mbappe. If anyone can, it's PSG. They'll find someone

Ligue 1? Ignore it. PSG's got that covered. The Champions League? Different story. The huge weaponry are needed there. You need experienced personnel there. So here's my thought. PSG needs experienced midfield and defensive players. They need winning men. They must act quickly. They must take it seriously to win the Champions League. Must go big. They must act now

PSG needs winning men as you said but PSG doesn’t usually think about that, all they know is to sign young players their performance will not improve the way the team like and win them champion league, PSG has money to sign players but they don’t know how to sign some players who have experience of winning champion league, for me, PSG is not the best team in the world and they waste much on buying players like Messi and Neymar just to win champion league, a player like Neymar and Messi can’t win the champion league for PSG because they are out of their prime and even their performance is not good enough to make them get to semifinal of the champion league.

It will be very difficult for PSG to win the Champions League no matter how they try to sign any player to join the team, PSG doesn’t know how to convince young talented players, all they know is to sign a player with a lot of money and that is the main thing that use to affect players performance, a team like Chelsea and PSG will find it difficult to win champion league because they spend a lot on players who doesn’t worth the price they bought them and their first season they will start performing somehow poor.

Everybody have their reasons why they're supporting Kylian Mbappe, he has tried much more but it's time for the young star to become the best and win the Ballon d'Or. PSG valuable player, Mbappe coming to Real Madrid is winning the UEFA Champions League, no two way about it. PSG will missed him and this might lead to the poor stats of the club next season, perhaps Luis Enrique will definitely make new plans without the Frenchman in the picture. Kylian Mbappe wants what's best for him and Real Madrid is the best decision for him.
Real Madrid is celebrating its 15th Champions League title without Kylian Mbappe, which means there is definitely an opportunity for Kylian Mbappe to feel how sweet it is to win the Champions League title with the team he plays for next season. And for the PSG coach himself, I think he will continue to carry out his duties as usual, namely looking for other players who can be placed in the PSG team next season in order to be able to compete like this season in several important competitions.
Real Madrid is the only team in Champions League history to have won 15 Champions League titles. Where other teams put the Champions League title winning star above their club logo, Real Madrid added the star separately to their jersey because there was no other way. Real Madrid didn't have any quality finishers this season yet they won the Champions League trophy but next season one of their best finishers has already joined their club so imagine how formidable this team will be next season. But it will not be a surprise if they add a 16th title to their jersey next season as the team they have formed are favorites to win the Champions League title in the upcoming tournament as well.

In Ligue 1, the league is not competitive because there are significant differences between clubs. For example, a club that always dominates the league, Paris Saint Germain, they have above average abilities because they have very good finances, so they will be able to do everything they want because they have money. Meanwhile, other clubs cannot do that, because they do not have the money that Paris Saint Germain has.

I don't know for sure what is wrong with other clubs, but what is clear to me is why they can't bring in big sponsors who can give them a lot of money? Their management or business governance must be able to see this opportunity, I mean they must be able to better convince sponsors to become part of them. Because if situations like this continue to happen then I think Paris Saint Germain won't get much pressure, because they can do anything.
The significant difference in terms of finance of course makes Ligue 1 not have competition like other leagues in Europe so far, PSG is too easy to dominate Ligue 1 and win trophies because their finances are quite strong at the moment compared to other teams who are only competing for slots to the Champions League or European League every season so far,  With strong finances, of course, it is very easy for them to bring in star players to add depth to the squad they have, while other teams in Ligue 1 actually survive only by selling their star players, making it difficult for them to compete in the championship all this time, Ligue 1 was previously a competitive league but after Naseer Al Khelaifi took over PSG, of course since then Ligue 1 has turned into a league farmers.

Like you, of course all of us here are a little confused about the cause of the difficulty of big investors being able to take over other teams in ligue 1, even though if we think, it is impossible that there is no interest from other big investors to be able to acquire other teams such as Marseille, Lille, Lyon or Monaco, to be honest I personally suspect that there seems to be something that does prevent foreign investors from acquiring teams in ligue 1 other than PSG,  because if we look at the management and governance of the team, didn't PSG also have bad management in the past? But strangely it is so easy for them to get a big sponsor like today, besides that I think when PSG was acquired by Naseer al Khelaifi at that time, PSG was not a better and more prominent team than other teams like Monaco.

This is also quite reasonable for Osimhen to consider because it is very clear that Ligue1 is still less popular than the EPL, La Liga and Serie A. So Osimhen himself must be willing to accept that this happens to him if he really wants to be in Ligue1 next season in the PSG squad which is generally always in the UCL, but is not very visible through the media when playing in Ligue1. Even though he himself can also make his career so brilliant in Ligue1 that in the end he can also make the choice to go to another league like Mbappe is currently doing.

It is official now, after Angers and Auxerre already passed to Ligue 1, it is the time of St-Etienne to get the third bid and follow them after defeating Metz on aggregate.
The first play-offs game ended 2 - 1 in favour of St-Etienne then in the second leg, the legal time ended 2 - 1 for Metz this time so they had to play extra time in which St-Etienne successfully scored a goal and avoided playing penalties.
Metz played with 10 players since the first five minutes of the game, yet they stranded until almost the end of the second extra time. Metz followed Lorient and Clermont Foot to Ligue 2.

My friend, it was such a tense game between Metz and St Etienne in the second leg yesterday. I really admired Metz's determination honestly. Scoring two goals after being shown a red card and keeping their hopes until the last moments of extra time were great things to watch for me.  Smiley  I believe they could have stayed in the Ligue 1 if it weren't for that red card.

Because they started to play defensively in the second half to take less risks. Anyways, congrats to St Etienne! I don't say they didn't deserve of course. They also made a huge effort there.  Wink  It is nice to see them back in the Ligue 1 after two years.
That match was a best match to enjoy because both team played well and gave best efforts to win this match. Camara performance was outclass and was looking with full energy and they played with full confidence. But I think, Metz could perform well from that performance and they could win the final . Match draw because both team did 2 goals and no team did one goal above from the other team. Mikautadze played well and his performance was at the top and Diallo performance was good and he was prominent player in the this match.

But shots of St-Étienne team were 33 and from which 12 were on target . There were good enjoyment for the audience because there are many less matches like that . The possessions of St-Étienne team were 67 percent and the passes of St-Étienne 635 and that is good figure as comparison to Metz team.

But has Goncalo Ramos shown that he can match the playing skills and great achievements that Mbappe has brought to PSG?
I will ask you, would you also say something like this when Mbappe was still on loan from Monaco with 14 scores achieved by Mbappe?
You may doubt Gonçalo Ramos, but look back at a player you are proud of with high talent, who used to be the same as Gonçalo Ramos when he first joined PSG, then do you still doubt him?
A player who has a higher talent like Mbappe needs time to achieve that success and you have to understand how your doubts are wrong for me.

I not sure that Goncalo Ramos will really be able to replace Mbappe and of course this would be an ambiguous decision if we really had high hopes for Goncalo Ramos to be able to fill the void and play as Mbappe replacement next season.
Indeed, I admit that Goncalo Ramos is also young and talented player, he has shown his contribution as an attacking player is also quite good, but this will not provide guarantee that he can and deserves to be called replacement for Mbappe.
It not just goals and assists to be able to replace Mbappe, there are several other factors that other players, including Goncalo Ramos, can't have, do you remember what Enrique said during the interview session asking about Mbappe replacement.
Ambiguous?
Do you remember how in the 2017-2018 season Kylian Mbappe only scored 13 scores and now you are saying your doubts about Gonçalo Ramos when he first joined PSG and it's the same as you comparing the old players with the new players, it's clearly very different. .
It doesn't make sense if you say your doubts are without any basis just looking at the talent that Mbappe currently has while you ignore Mbappe's past, which for me is the same as Gonçalo Ramos.
If you still have doubts and don't believe it, you can look for more information regarding Mbappe in his past since he was with Monaco and until he first joined PSG.
Read this, so you have knowledge

Francesco Farioli is leaving Nice by the end of this month to start working for Ajax. Actually he had a really good start with Nice first. However things didn't go their way and fall behind their real potential for the season.  Sad

If Nice were able to score more goals than only 40 then we would be talking about positive things for Farioli as well. But I think it was still unfair decision about him. He managed the team for only one season. Maybe the team couldn't score good enough but he still improved the position Nice finished at in the 2022/2023 season (from 9th to 5th). They are joining the Europa League now too. Why did the board still want him to leave anyway?

With the PSG Board of Directors accepting Mbappé's departure, their nearly 7-year relationship has ended. Mbappe leaving PSG will help coach Luis Enrique's team save up to 200 million euros per year. PSG not only targets Osimhen, but PSG also plans to recruit some famous faces such as Rafael Leao, Bernardo Silva, and Leny Yoro when the summer transfer market opens. Because the club's transfer budget in the summer transfer window can be up to 300 million euros, including the money they have on hand and the money saved from Mbappé's departure. Obviously, PSG has a chance to live well in the post-Mbappé era, and coach Luis Enrique can build something very special from the new young players. Things will never be the same again after Mbappé's seven years helping the team, but there are many reasons to be happy. I believe that next season coach Luis Enrique will build a perfect team that will not depend on a key player like Mbappé.

Yes, that is a positive side that can be taken from Mbappe's departure and they can use this amount for several players instead of just spending it on one player. However, with what Mbappe gave to Paris Saint Germain, it was an amount he deserved to receive, or in other words, what Paris Saint Germain spent could be paid for by Mbappe's good performance while wearing the Paris Saint Germain uniform. But still I could feel their loss when Mbappe decided to leave.
Luis Enrique has to move quickly in looking for the players he wants to bring in, because competition will always exist with other teams when they want the same players. Moreover, the players they are targeting are more career-minded. Because in my opinion Paris Saint Germain is not suitable for players who prioritize their career. This doesn't mean to demean them, but we can see for ourselves that when they compete in a more prestigious arena, they always find it difficult to do so.

Even though Lille had a pretty good season here and the question remains why Lille didn't try to persuade Paulo Fonseca to stay and give him a contract extension. Even if there is a request from management and the players, he should be willing to stay, but if his desire is to coach a bigger team then that cannot be stopped.

Every coach wants to be successful in a big team and like Paulo Fonseca, he will try his luck if he coaches Milan in the future. On the other hand, Bruno Genesio certainly has a big responsibility after the departure of the previous Lille coach and whether or not he can consistently bring Lille into the top four competition will still be quite a difficult process.
Everyone will see how Bruno Genesio will process and perform for the Lille team next season if he really takes on the big responsibility of bringing the Lille team to be better and compete in the top four of Ligue1. Because next season PSG will remain a strong candidate and this cannot be denied by any rival in Ligue 1 even though the rivals have replaced their old coach with a new coach. And for the departure of a coach who once coached Lille to a bigger team, I think this is also quite normal because it cannot be prevented if it is based on personal desires.

It's just speculation but I think Osimhen is the most viable option at the moment after they were left behind by Mbappe. PSG still dominates in Ligue 1 even without Mbappe, but at European level their strength will drop drastically. Mbappe really carried PSG. Osimhen has a release clause of €130m. That's a big price but It's not a problem for PSG. Unfortunately they had to release Mbappe on a free transfer. They should not have to pay €130m because Mbappe's market value is around €150m.
Why almost everyone thinks PSG is going to do really bad because mbappe is no longer with them is something I'm not really coming in terms with, my reasons are because before now, after he announced he will be leaving PSG by the end of the season Enrique stared getting the team ready a d used to not depending on him for victory, although several attempts didn't really yield much but it did showed they could get better.

There were games PSG played without mbappe in the just concluded season and they were still very successful, they won a few and drew a few aswell, only a few losses were recorded one of which was while mbappe played. So before his exit, the team has been aware and have prepared for it aswell, they have also got a smart and brilliant coach who is tactically sound, so it may not take too long and PSG may even do good again in the Ligue 1 but may have challenges outside the french league. Replacing mbappe with osimhen wouldn't be a bad idea and PSG has got the financial strength too.

Just like mbappe, osimhen is young and talented player who's got a very promising future ahead in his football career and it's quite obvious that he's got a top notch quality, the price clause he has released is worth it because even at Napoli he was of a great importance to the team and if not for his personal decision to leave, I doubt if Napoli was ready to let go of him just yet just like mbappe, it's really funny how placing this two young talent's side by side and you will find too many similarities.

Lille got a new coach, Bruno Genesio, which used to train Lyon until 2019 then Rennes.
It was announced that Paulo Fonseca quit the team after the end of his contract and he has intentions to return to Serie A and be the coach of AC Milan and took the place of Stefano Pioli.
Rennes this season wasn't top comparing to the previous one and the new coach has a clear objective since the beginning of the league and it is get a place in UEFA Champions League groups.

On the other hand, Bruno Genesio certainly has a big responsibility after the departure of the previous Lille coach and whether or not he can consistently bring Lille into the top four competition will still be quite a difficult process.
Lille was attempts to hold him even before Ligue 1 ended Lille want Paulo Fonseca to stayed because they feel Paulo Fonseca is very important for Lille and since 2022 he was train this team and the progress was very good because Lille can playing consistent under him but indeed Paulo Fonseca want to handle big team because he want to find new challenge so that's why Paulo Fonseca refuse contract extension from Lille and he was thinking the offers from Milan and indeed this is still not officially but Paulo Fonseca is the strongest candidate as the replacement of Pioli and in the next several days probably Milan will announce him to the public

About new manager of Lille Bruno Genesio his latest achievement with Rennes is not really good because Bruno Genesio was unable to bringing Rennes to bounce back in Ligue 1 and this also caused Rennes have to sack him on November last year and at Lille now Bruno Genesio has hard jobs because he have to bringing Lille to performing well on Champion League and Ligue 1 and indeed he is experience manager but i personally still not sure he is the right manager for Lille or not considering what his done previously with Rennes is not impressive

The loss of mbappe actually has to be anticipated by PSG since mbappe announced that he will leave, so for now PSG is no longer having difficulty in getting the right replacement and can be relied on after mbappe move to madrid, currently PSG still has goncalo ramos in their front line but I think he is still not able to be a mainstay for PSG in the front line,  so that PSG should be looking for another player who they can really rely on to be the main striker next season, competete in Ligue 1 is certainly not a difficult thing for PSG to do even though they no longer have Mbappe in the squad, but for the Champions League competition of course it will be difficult for PSG to compete because after all they need a really qualified squad to be able to compete in the highest UEFA League.

Osimhen has been PSG target so far to replace the position left by Mbappe, but so far there has been no movement from PSG to get Osimhen from Napoli,  Osimhen is a striker who does have a fairly high fighting power in scoring goals and of course he will deserve to be the mainstay of PSG later, Osimhen of course will have no difficulty adapting in Ligue 1 because indeed he is in the most dominant club in Ligue 1 Later, in addition to Ligue 1 is a league that has raised his name so indeed he will not find it difficult to score many goals, Osimhen once played for Lille before he left for Napoli in 2020.
of course there is no movement or confirmation whatsoever because Osimhen looks like he will be retained by Napoli who are currently in a bad state and want to improve their appearance with their new coach and I am sure that Napoli new coach will also not allow Napoli to sell their mainstay players to try to restore their previous performance is lost.
whoever replaces Mbappe, League 1 will still be dominated by PSG without any reason, even if Goncalo Ramos or whoever will replace Mbappe, other teams in League 1 will not be able to compete with PSG even though they don't look too strong, but in terms of player quality, PSG is still the strongest team.
but maybe it will be a little different in the UCL, of course PSG performance will be very different without Mbappe, it will certainly be a little difficult to reach the final round.

we may be too early to speculate but expecting Osimhen to be a replacement for Mbappe seems to be very impossible and it would only be PSG dream to get Osimhen while he is still under contract with Napoli and on the one hand, Osimhen knows how PSG treats Mbappe, who is always in trouble when he wants to move to other teams to improve his career and maybe Osimhen is also thinking about his future career, perhaps if he moves to PSG he will only be a League 1 star, not a UCL star.

It is very difficult to miss Mbappe because he is one of the best players in the world, but PSG should not continue to rely on Mbappe and PSG should now focus on building a team without Mbappe.
And with the finances that PSG has, they should be able to build this team much better, even though it takes a process and time, like what Manchester City previously did.

PSG need to make more bigger transfer players after leaving by Mbappe because keep dominance in Ligue 1 seems still possibilities but get difficult with their appearance in UEFA Champion League competition. Victor Osimhen is the only one players linked will replace Mbappe position but recently Luis Henrique as PSG manager not announce yet will sign him or not.
For transfer fees above 130 to 150 million euro is not big problem for PSG because they have support with financial but not easy to find replacement for Mbappe position because he has consistent perform with PSG become top scorer in domestic league every season. I doubt Victor Osimhen will be success more than Mbappe if agree for joining with PSG on next season and not sure will score more goals than Mbappe when first appearance in Ligue 1?
