What you say has basis, because so far many people have watched Ligue 1 because there are star players there. Even though it may not be something certain, we can speculate as such. We can see how the Saudi Pro League can become popular now, it happened starting from the presence of star players joining the teams there. So if we compare this, then star players are related to popularity or something that can attract a lot of attention.
Ligue 1 is less attractive because they also have competition that is not competitive, it would be different if they could be more competitive, I think Ligue 1 would also attract a lot of attention from many viewers.
Apart from Mbappe, are there any other star players in Ligue 1 currently who are of interest to us?
As far as I watch the current Ligue matches after Messi and Neymar left, I don't see any other star players in Ligue 1 apart from Mbappe, Mbappe's departure will probably reduce the enthusiasm of football fans in watching Ligue 1 in the future, but it's still irrelevant for us to compare the popularity which is owned by Ligue 1 and the Arab League because these two leagues actually still have significant differences at this time even though many former European star players have started to shift their goals to Arabia league, because compared the Arab League, of course Ligue 1 will still have a base High fans because Ligue 1 is still one of the top 5 European leagues at the moment.

There are significant comparisons between other European leagues and Ligue 1 and even though Ligue 1 has several star players who played for previous clubs, this doesn't make Ligue 1 better than other existing leagues because the main problem with Ligue 1 is not whether there are star players or not all this time, I dont say because I think we all here know what makes the league the least popular league to watch compared to other leagues.

I agree that it is going to take a while for them to get better, it will not be too simple and it will take a while. Winning UCL is a very difficult task, while some teams may win it when you do not even expect it, some teams like City who dominate a tough league like premier league could have hard time getting even just one. This is why I think it is not easy for PSG to win it, but when you least expect it then they may win it too, you never know.

I believe that this season isn't it though, they lost Mbappe just recently, it will take time for them to adjust playing without him, and it is going to be hard for them to get this new team to win something major. If you ask me, even ligue one is in danger right now as well.
Everything will not be easy when they are in the Champions League, they must have everything they need to become champions. Not only in the game, things like mentality and others will still have a big influence on whether they can get something good or not. Many clubs have experienced failure and it's not just them, it shows how difficult it is for a club to compete for the title in the Champions League.

You give a great example when you say Manchester City. In the last few seasons, Manchester City has dominated the Premier League so much that we know it is not easy to dominate there, and even competing is not easy. However, in the Champions League they actually had more difficulties and only succeeded in one of their several attempts to win the title. We can compare the level of competition between these two leagues and we will find the answer. So everything will not be easy for them to do even though they really dominate the league.

PSG already got what they needed to have. In the last season, they had superstar players but they didn't have a coach like Enrique in this team to help players have better teamwork and they have it. Also, Enrique is experienced enough to make PSgeven win the Champions League title.
But other than this, they have to give Enrique some more time and provide him the players he needs, Mbappe leaving PSG was harmful for them.
Enrique's own abilities are indeed quite good in terms of coaching a team like PSG, but winning the Champions League will always be a very tough challenge as long as Real Madrid can continue to dominate the League. Apart from that, the players in the PSG squad itself also still have an influence on the entire team because when any team plays in the Champions League, the strength of their respective players must really be there with a very good level of talent. And PSG hasn't had that in recent years.

Mbappe departure from the French League resulted in minimal audience interest, although I know that is not a strong reason but just based on my thoughts so far where Ligue 1 in several seasons has only been about PSG and Mbappe has been most often highlighted by the media. Now people's attention is diverted, especially as Mbappe supporters who usually focus on Ligue 1 will be more enthusiastic about La Liga. Do you think I'm exaggerating when it comes to Ligue 1's outlook or are there similar facts at play here?

So far, PSG do not have everything they need, first they need some good strikers, because since the departure of Messi and Neymar they have not replaced them with anyone, and now Mbappe has left and the lack of quality players in the attacking line will be too noticeable for anyone teams, and especially for the one that wants to win the Champions League. It may take many years for PSG to win the Champions League, and this may happen without Enrique, because the PSG management is not as patient in practice as in words.

Money isn't the issue here to be fair, they have teams worth of hundreds of millions of euros, which is more than a lot of teams who wins the Europa or conference, so they could have a team win.
PSG is also good enough to win the UCL, a huge club with an owner that has deep pockets, so they built many good teams over the years, and spent a lot of money on the club as well. What they are lacking is experience in tournament schedule, they are just not experienced in it which shows itself during the European competitions. Too many teams go up and down, and not a lot of them joins the same competition every year, aside from PSG that goes to UCL, and I think they need to learn to be better at tournaments, which will help them on the long term.
If they  want to win the Champions League title, they  definitely need an experienced coach. Sustaining consistent good performances in both Ligue 1 and Champions League is no easy task. Good performance should be continued in busy schedule. At the same time, the fitness of the players should also be good.
The last few years have seen PSG's owner spend a lot of money and build a strong squad. Despite PSG's strong squad, the team could not do well in the Champions League. Because they did not have an experienced coach. But now PSG has got an experienced coach like Luis Enrique. If Luis Enrique is able to build a squad to his liking, I believe PSG can perform even better on the Champions League platform.

PSG got an experienced coach. And Luis Enrique has the experience to do well in a competitive platform like the Champions League. Luis Enrique also coached Barcelona in the past. Barcelona many titles with Luis Enrique. Barcelona won La Liga and dominated the Champions League.

Luis Enrique can strengthen the PSG squad if he gets enough funds. I think Luis Enrique is now interested in building a youth-oriented squad. If Luis Enrique can do that, PSG will be even stronger next season. PSG can build a strong squad without spending exorbitant amounts of money.

Isn't PSG current condition not much different from what happened in the previous season?
PSG previously didn't have an ideal coach even though their squad was full of star players, but now they had Enrique who is an experienced coach and also has a collective style of play, but in fact now they have lost several star players, now PSG should try to build a collectively teams after several seasons of failure by continuing to rely on several individual players in their squad, we admit that Enrique has proof able to give the champions league trophy to the team he has coached but he did not get this in an instant way, PSG is starting to have to build a squad with new foundations and for implement the playing philosophy implemented by Enrique so far of course Enrique needs new players who suit his playing system.

Enrique's own abilities are indeed quite good in terms of coaching a team like PSG, but winning the Champions League will always be a very tough challenge as long as Real Madrid can continue to dominate the League. In fact, so far PSG has everything needed to win the Champions League trophy except mentality, mentality is one thing that PSG is lacking so far, because if you look at their squad which was previously full of the best players of course no one can deny that they will be able to become champions league champions, but in fact after spending a lot of money so far,PSG best achievement was only reaching the final round,  in the UCL final PSG vs Munchen in 2020, we can see where PSG mentality actually dropped in that the final match.
In my opinion, the problems faced by PSG in the Champions League are more complex than just Madrid's dominance in the Champions League so far, because so far it has not been Madrid who have often stopped PSG in the Champions League, it is the lower teams than PSG but their team has a strong mentality.

I have an opinion that Portuguese league teams are better than other teams in France except PSG. Paris SG is very good, the others are average teams. That's why there is very little competition and the second place teams change from time to time. Competition is at a high level in the Portuguese league. That's why I must add that it is even more exciting than the French league. Portuguese league teams also have success in the European league. It seems like there is less success in France than the teams other than PSG.
That's exactly what I mean, because if we look at the Portuguese league, there are at least several teams whose strength is still evenly distributed, such as Benfica, Sporting, Porto and Braga. For some of these teams, it is quite difficult to guess the champion each season and sometimes the difference in points at the end of the season is very small.

If Ligue One could be like that and other teams like Lyon, Marseille and Lille had equal strength to PSG then we would see a much different competition every season. But unfortunately we won't be able to see that forever as long as PSG has extraordinary strength to even dominate Ligue One for the next 10 years. But on the other hand, I certainly still hope that there will be investors who are interested in investing their money in several of these clubs so that competition heats up again with a comparable squad.

But I think PSG is not a weak team when compared to teams from other leagues. PSG dominates Ligue 1 because other teams are weaker than them, but I see PSG can also become one of the best teams in European competition. PSG made it to the semifinals in the UCL and that shows their level. It's just that they have never been among the favorites to win the UCL in my opinion.
From my point of view, PSG is a club that can be said to be mediocre when compared to clubs at the top level of the Champions League. It cannot be said to be weak. PSG is indeed the best club in its own league but is not a strong competitor in the Champions League.
PSG can sometimes perform well in the Champions League but they can't last much longer, at best they only reach the semifinals after which they will face opponents at a level above them and lose. Last season was actually a good opportunity for PSG to return to the final or become runners up because they didn't meet Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or Manchester City at the start, but unfortunately they couldn't face Dortmund, whose performance was unstable at that time.

Next season they will face the Champions League without Mbappe, I don't think they will achieve good results like last season.

The condition of the league is always fluctuating, maybe for Europe UCl can be the standard of the team's ability. But PSG I think is quite good, they have reached the semi-finals. This condition is also not always true, Ligue 1 is the weakest league. The draw in the UCL is also unpredictable, so the team that is in the UCL is the best team in my opinion.

Talk about the other is the attraction of the league. After Mbappe officially leaves, maybe Ligue 1 will decline for the audience. Because this season and before Mbappe and Neymar are the magnets. For next season, it looks like they will have to rebuild to make the league more interesting to watch.

I think the same. The Ligue 1 is the most boring one to watch to me as well among top European leagues. I have been watching PSG's games for the sake of Mbappe but now he has also left so...  Sad

Some people say Mbappe's departure won't affect this league much but I don't agree with that. Mbappe has been like the face of this league. I bet there are so many people watching the league just to see him. Because normally teams in this league don't have many interesting players unlike the Premier League, Bundesliga or other top leagues.

The Ligue 1 can't find so many investors already and in this way it's just going to be less attracting.
Talking about the investor of Ligue 1 several weeks ago i have been discuss about this before because if i am not mistaken the last company who buy broadcasting right of Ligue 1 is Mediapro but their contract was ended on 2024 which mean until this season and now LFP as the football federation of France has attempts to look for new investors but until now there are still no big companies that dare to buy broadcasting rights of this league although the price reduced by half to attract broadcasters but seems they are still struggling to find investors

I believe why this thing happend because just like you says Ligue 1 is boring now especially for every season PSG always be dominate this league because there were no other clubs who can being an decent opponents for PSG and this also caused why some of star players from other league has been refuse to playing at this league because they feel Ligue 1 is not too competitive compared to other league such as Premier League or Laliga and this season PSG lost Mbappe who went to Real Madrid and i believe this situation will have huge impact for this league especially from the popularities

PSG will still have difficulty competing in the Champions League because League One is not very competitive, this is the main problem. What PSG hasn't done in its ambition to win the UCL league trophy, it seems like PSG has done everything, from bringing in star players to a very experienced coach like Enrique, but still failed.

The Champions League competition is very tough and you have to have a very strong mentality too. In League One, only PSG was superior so they didn't have too much pressure to get the League One trophy, but when competing in the Champions League they were under so much pressure that in the end they weren't strong enough to withstand that pressure. This is very different from other leagues which have very tight domestic leagues, which makes them mentally strong when playing in the Champions League.

In my opinion, the French League is one of the weakest leagues among the European leagues. The quality of football in this league is not very high, the players and teams are below the Champions League level.
For a few seasons PSG performed well, among the other teams there was no team that had a chance of winning the title, perhaps they have not been very successful in the last 20 years. The 3rd and 4th teams in the Champions League will be easy opponents for other teams Smiley

The French League is absolutely nothing compared to other standard league with fierce competitive race amongst themselves. Ligue One have only entertaining features but when it comes to the real deal, they snapped out of it because they're incompetent to face major clubs. For instance, in the UEFA Champions League, we all know what always happen to Paris Saint-Germain failed attempts in numerous times.  They've tried and tried until they get no hope left. Perhaps it doesn't mean they will give up but continue to make attempts because winning is sure.
In fact, I don't see Ligue One as one of Europe's top five leagues if only one team completely dominates each season. Ligue One is just being overly exaggerated because there are starting to change with the arrival of new stars who were at PSG previously and I'm sure that after this this league will no longer be so interesting in the future.

Apart from that, PSG is indeed an icon for this league, but overall they are not much different from other teams from the Portuguese or Turkish leagues who always suffer the same fate of being eliminated in the Champions League and not achieving anything they want. So Ligue One is nothing more than a decoration that is too forced.
I have an opinion that Portuguese league teams are better than other teams in France except PSG. Paris SG is very good, the others are average teams. PSG owners have huge ambitions to make PSG a strong team not only in the league, but they are obsessed with winning the Champions League, so they don't hesitate to spend a lot of money to recruit star players at that time, Neymar, Messi, Mbappe and Donnarumma become players that they can recruit and make their team look very strong, Previously, the president of PSG really wanted the two best players in the world who had been rivals to join the PSG squad, but this didn't happen after Ronaldo preferred to join another club, I think If Al Naseer previous ambitions are realized then we will see PSG like an Avengers team that has many stars in their squad.

What the PSG president hoped to make PSG a big team has of course been fulfilled now, but even though they have gathered many star players in their squad, PSG is only able to compete in the domestic league without being able to do much in the Champions League so far, even though one by one the star players are leaving PSG at the moment, of course they are still a big team so I think they will still be able to compete in the Champions League even though they may still need a lot of time to become champions.
In fact, the people in charge of the PSG team cannot be blamed in any way because this team has invested a lot of money just to transform their club into one of the best clubs in the world. They spent a lot of money I accept that but they spent the money in a wrong way so that their plan did not succeed. Always talking about PSG, I used to say that their team lacks a good manager. Maybe there is no chance to say that now because now they have appointed a quality manager to their club but I don't see any significant activity from the manager in this transfer market so what are they really planning for next season. I thought they would get over last season and plan hard for next season but so far it doesn't look like that.
It is very difficult to predict the direction of steps that PSG management will take in the future in building squad depth, especially after they lost their best asset, Mbappe. So far PSG have not brought in a replacement for Mbappe, several names have been linked, but we don't know for sure who will be recruited. We know it is difficult to find players who match or approach Mbappe quality in the transfer window, but PSG seems to need a solution for the role left by the French striker. One thing is clear that PSG will try to maintain its bargaining value in the Champions League, maybe PSG will start its new project again to build a luxurious squad.

At first glance, the steps taken by PSG management and club officials in this decade seem inappropriate in building squad depth, because the best result they can achieve is winning the Ligue 1 trophy and becoming Champions League finalists. It is certain that without actively moving in the transfer window it will be difficult for PSG to compete in the Champions League next season, but it would be wiser if PSG changed their perspective in recruiting players, meaning they don't have to continuously recruit star players, because that is not a guarantee for success.

I agree more if you call Ligue 1 a farmers league, the other clubs are just complements without being able to compete with the strength that PSG has. PSG always dominates every season, even before the season starts we can guess who will win the Ligue 1 title race. Due to the very weak competition in Ligue 1 making it difficult for PSG to compete in the Champions League, PSG will be surprised when they face another strong team because in Ligue 1 they have never faced a club whose quality is equal to theirs.

PSG is an elite team, the quality of the squad they have always places them in the group of favorite teams to win the Champions League trophy. Their failure to win the Champions League was because the players did not have the mentality to win the competition. This was because the PSG players' mentality was not honed in the domestic league because every match they played there they were always able to win easily.

The majority of us here call Ligue 1 the farmers' league and that's not without reason all this time, the absence of intense competition has not really had a strong attraction for us to watch so far so it has slowly made us start to get too bored to watch the ligue 1 matches  So far, the lack of competition has of course made it too easy for PSG to dominate the league so that in the end other teams only target Champions League tickets at the end of the season as their achievement, the most obvious effect we see now is the limited ability of the Ligue 1 teams  which competes in the Champions League and even PSG which is the strongest team in Ligue 1, has not been able to conquer the Champions League trophy due to their mentality which not tested in the league.

PSG currently has strong finances and it is not difficult for them to bring in many star players, but so far this does not make PSG able to become a team worthy of winning the Champions League trophy , I think maybe PSG should continue to try to improve their  the mentality  have at the moment, instead of continuing to add and bring in lots of star players who don't have a positive impact on the team, currently PSG should try to further optimize and maximize the team with a young squad and of course give the coach more time to develop the squad, so that in some next seasons, this young squad is very ready mentally to challenge for the Champions League title.

There was a time when the hype about PSG was high because at that time PSG broke all the records of the transfer market and signed one after another the best players to their club. As they continued to buy players to strengthen their club, it looked as if PSG would dominate alone but the performance was not the same. Even when other top star players including Neymar Messi Mbappe played for their club, their club team performance was almost nil.

Neymar playing at the same time as Messi Mbappe could not overcome the barrier of the Super Sixteen of the Champions League was certainly a big surprise for them.
PSG has changed a lot since the new manager took over and many players have been sold by the club. The team that PSG has now is an average quality team. To improve the performance of this team, better quality players must be appointed
