PSG does not need to spend much to compete in the French league. But this team's only target was never the league, they always targeted UCL and they spent accordingly. Now they have removed Mbappe and sold him, they need to make transfers to fill his place, for this they need to make a lot of meetings, convince the players and managers, work extra hours and at the same time increase the offers for the players they want.
That's true because they had big plans long before Luis Enrique arrived but they always failed to achieve success in the Champions League. To compete in Ligue 1, PSG doesn't need a lot of money to recruit other players because the strength they have now is much more sufficient and no other team has been able to break PSG's dominance for so long. Mbappe's departure will certainly make space in that position more problematic and when playing in the Champions League it will be a bit difficult for the attack line to score goals.

That is why it is important for PSG to bring in players who have experience so they can help PSG to compete. Luis Enrique definitely has the right replacement and maybe it's only a matter of time before we see the right replacement. The Champions League is always a target for any club and it is also a big target that PSG has not been able to achieve.
It's saddened that after several attempts by PSG to try to bring this trophy home ,PSG has been this unlucky despite the fact that they've had the presence of these trios MNM, Mbappe, Neymar and Messi play in same team and now that Mbappe who happened to be the last two leave the team among the trios, now I don't know what would actually be the faith of PSG in winning the Champions League competition henceforth and with the player replacement for Neymar.

PSG tried their best to win the Champions League title. PSG management spent a lot of money. But even then PSG could not progress in the Champions League. Can't dominate the Champions League. One of the reasons for PSG's poor performance in the Champions League was the lack of an experienced coach. The squad had a lot of talented and experienced players. But PSG did not have an experienced coach.

PSG have now appointed Luis Enrique in charge of the squad. Enrique is a very experienced coach. And I think Luis Enrique will be able to make this PSG squad even stronger if given enough funds and opportunities. But it is definitely time consuming. It cannot be done very quickly.

Lens still looks like a good team, in the past 4 seasons, they finished 7th 3 times, which I do not think I have seen a team be 7th for that many frequent times lol, but finished second previous season which is amazing for them. When a team is managed properly, you can see how great they can become, which is the most important thing for these teams.

I think we are going to see them do a lot better, we just need to make sure that we are doing all we can, and doing a better job at it as well. Lens is a proof that if you put a very reasonable and smart person in charge, then you are going to get good results, results that nobody expects from you. This is going to be tough but it has to be the most important key situation for them.

......but I believe that he can become a coach that all PSG fans will be proud of because he is one of the coaches who has always dared to speculate about playing PSG without Mbappe before and in this way Enrique was able to measure how strong PSG's performance will be without Mbappe.
After everything was answered, Enrique knew several things he had to do to build a stronger club by bringing in more reliable midfielders.
Yes, this will be a new challenge for Enrique to manage PSG without top superstar football players. He once said that he still wanted Mbappe to stay at PSG, but after the decision, Enrique remained confident that he was still able to keep PSG strong, with PSG's composition without Mbappe. He quite believes in the various talents that are actually possessed by the talented footballers at PSG who are actually very good and solid as a team. Therefore, he is not necessarily looking for a replacement who is equal to Mbappe. Even when Mbappe was still at PSG, Enrique had started to compose the team without Mbappe, because after all they had to get used to it because Mbappe would also be leaving.

PSG was previously very interested in signing Barcelona's young star, Lamine Yamal. However, recent news suggests that Barcelona blocks PSG's $200m bid for Lamine Yamal. Barcelona has closed the possibility of transferring the young Spanish player and keeps him at Barcelona.

Apart from that, PSG's hopes of getting Kvaratskhelia also seem to be very difficult or will even fail, because the player prefers to stay at his club, Napoli. whereas previously, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was one of the most rumored candidates to move to PSG after the departure of Mbappe.

So, PSG will need more and more efforts to bring in top players to strengthen the team, because the competition in the French League may be normal, however, their target is still the UCL, which will be very difficult to achieve.

Lens is not PSG who have great ability in terms of their finances so far, so it is not surprising that they have not been very active in the transfer market so far, retaining players last season is a better alternative to Lens at the moment in my opinion, Lens who did perform quite poorly last season but at least they are still able to survive in Ligue 1 , Just like you, I also haven't heard of any target players that Lens is currently targeting and I think they don't  do that because of the financial limitations they have, Lens defense last season was quite fragile but compared to some other teams such as Lyon and Monaco lens defense is still better.

I think we should look more realistic about the targets that other teams have besides PSG at this time, apart from PSG I don't think there is any hope for other teams to be able to get the championship trophy so that indeed their current target is more realistic just to end the season in the Champions League zone and also Europe, I personally also hope that not only Lens will improve their squad but hope that other teams can also improve the quality of the squad so that it will be able to provide fierce competition to PSG next season.
Are you always compared to PSG? everyone also knew the difference in financial strength. What I mean here is that even though Lens is not a big team like PSG, at least they are still moving in the summer to strengthen the depth of their squad. The reason is that other teams such as Marseille, Lyon and Nice have moved first so if they don't do the same then they will be left behind.

Lens don't need to buy new players with such big price tags, they can still bring in players in the price range of 10 million euros and below. There is quite a lot of talent in that price range that has not yet surfaced and it is up to the talent scouting team to find it.
Some teams have moved quickly in the current transfer market to find new players but if you pay attention of course you will see that the team first has to sell other players to get a certain amount of money, so it actually does not have a real enough effect on improving their performance next season because there are only substitutions and not additions to players in squad,  when there is indeed no improvement that has occurred in the team then how can we expect them to be able to compete for the Ligue 1 championship trophy, I think teams like Lens should be able to keep their star players and not just continue to look for cheap players and sell them when they become star players, so far the underlying reason why Ligue 1 has become a farmer league is none other than the penchant of Ligue 1 teams selling star players and indirectly making PSG even stronger in the league.

I actually don't want to compare Lens with PSG, but there is no more significant comparison for us to see at the moment that results in a gap that is too big between one club and another, many teams are financially weak but are still able to compete with strong teams in other leagues today such as Atlanta, Leverkusen,  Leipzig and even Aston Villa in the English league, who can still compete with big teams by only relying on players who have been there before in their squad, this season indeed many players from the clubs I mentioned above left for other teams but I think that will not make them weak next season because they also buy players whose quality is equal to the players they sell.

Apart from what you said, I think we also shouldn't directly say about a setback for the PSG team because that hasn't happened after Mbappe left for Real Madrid. Because PSG still has time to think in order not to experience a setback in its performance next season and apart from that, I also agree with what you said, PSG can still dominate Ligue 1 even though Mbappe is no longer in their squad next season.
Competition in Ligue 1 is not a problem that Enrique has to think about because however the squad they currently have is still better than rival teams even though Mbappe is no longer in their team, PSG is the only strong team in Ligue 1 so I think the season In the future, the Ligue 1 trophy will still be theirs, losing Mbappe will indeed leave a hole in their front line, but it looks like players like Dembele and Ramos will be able to cover the hole, apart from that, currently PSG is still looking for a new striker to replace Mbappe PSG in front line to next season and I think they will get him soon after the fantastic offer they made to sign the players.

Yes @arimamib you are right. I also think that PSG is going to be fine because they have enough money to bring in players. It is definitely going to be hard for them to financially recover from the Mbappe situation. They really let a player who could give them more than 200 million for free.

Anyway, why I believe that PSG is not going to have a big problem is because they have a really good coach right now, Luis Enrique. a coach who has had incredible success with Barcelona. if they actually got him  A little earlier probably they could have even won the Champions League title. Anyway, You can't deny PSG still has a decent squad without Mbappé. They just need to get a player who is a genuine striker and will be able to score goals when needed.

Every team knows what's most applicable to their financial strengths and would pitch within that knowing they will be doing more harm to their purses if they try exceeding their capacity at any point. Sometimes bigger players were once priced low before their value did increased due to their performance so it's not totally out of place that lens could strength their squad even with less priced players whom they are eventually going to have turning out big in the nearest future. If Lyon see they are lacking in any aspect, now they have got the time to make transfer as rhw windows are still Open.
There are many things that must be considered when a club wants to bring in new players, one of which is looking at their financial strength. They also definitely don't want to force themselves, because if they force themselves it will cause problems for them in the future. especially if it is related to financial problems, it will be very difficult to get out of that problem once they get into it. There are many clubs that can be taken as an example as they struggle to regain financial stability.

If you compare everything with Paris Saint Germain, I don't think it can be compared. The reason is that Paris Saint Germain is at a different level from the clubs in Ligue 1. We will be able to compare Paris Saint Germain with big clubs from other leagues. Take for example the Champions League, they are equal to the clubs that subscribe to the Champions League, and sometimes they (Paris Saint Germain) are even below it.

[...] Maybe Lens could look for a new defender option considering that they lost 11 times last season, causing them to often lose points. On the other hand, they need to increase the effectiveness of their attacks considering that their win rate is starting to decline. So here they have to add defenders and strikers to be able to correct this deficiency.

Lyon have more defeats than Lens, but they can be a step above Lens. i think it's not just about the defenders not being good enough, but also about consistent results that can at least be maintained. They were unlucky because they couldn't enter any European competition zone, they should evaluate this to get better results next season. Bayer Leverkusen managed to become champions without spending a lot of money, that's the reason why i think it's not a problem with certain sides such as defenders, but also with the whole team.
Since promotion to Ligue 1 in the 2020/2021 season, Lens have actually been able to compete in Ligue 1, they were able to finish in 7th place in their first season and they continued that in their second season. IN the previous season they even finished in second place, they performed quite well at the start of the season, but as usual with teams in Ligue 1, they were inconsistent so they couldn't get better results. Actually, last season I was quite hopeful that Lens would be able to compete like they did in the previous season, but unfortunately they had to decline.

Last season they could only finish in 7th place again because their performance dropped drastically from their performance in the previous season. I wasn't surprised by this even though at the beginning I put quite a lot of trust in them. Consistency is a problem that we often see from several teams, one of which is Lens. Next season they might be even better and it is also possible that they will decline more than last season.

If you hope that other teams can improve their squads next season, maybe that will happen, but to compete with PSG, I think it will be very impossible because of the big gap between PSG and their rivals so far, PSG will still dominate Ligue 1 and Enrique should focus more on improving their team to be able to compete in the Champions League next season, currently PSG main target is not the Ligue 1 trophy but the Champions League trophy has become their main priority at the moment.

It's actually a very bad move for clubs to try spend hugely on players just to improve the quality of their squad when the amount of money spent is somehow above their financial strength. It is one of the reasons you see a club go from one of the best to become one of the worst teams because immediately they fail to win major trophies that'll attract big investors to collaborate or sign endorsement deals with the club, you see them offloading the high profile players because of their high wages.
Lens last two seasons surprised many of us with their performance in the French league though they failed to replicate same feat in the just concluded season but that doesn't mean they should try signing high profile players in other to compete with the big teams in the French league when they do not have the financial strength to do that. They can go for scouting for talented players from lower leagues and build them to help the club remain competitive

So far Lens have not made any moves in the summer and it is important to remember that last season they only finished in seventh place in the standings. Indeed, that is far from their desired target considering that previously they managed to penetrate the Champions League zone. I think if Lens still maintains their current squad and is reluctant to add player ammunition then they will not be able to compete with other teams.

Meanwhile in Ligue 1, PSG opportunity to continue to dominate the competition is very large, where no other contestants have financial equivalents to them. The gap in strength is still very visible, no team has yet to seriously challenge PSG, Enrique's fleet is even believed to be able to win the trophy despite experiencing setbacks after Mbappe departure. We can only hope that there is a team that can suppress PSG in Ligue 1, so that it can make the competition for trophies more competitive. So far, Ligue 1 is like the Farmers League, its attraction lies only in PSG.

No one needs to speculate between PSG and French League 1 because they will definitely dominate the league even if they lose Mbappe, now what needs to be asked is how Luis Enrique will do in the Champions because PSG really needs the Champions trophy, and currently Luis Enrique is of course considering this This is to give PSG the Champions League title, because in the French League 1 of course there is no big pressure for them because they still have star players they can rely on, but losing Mbappe is also a problem for the team and Luis Enrique because they will lose their mainstay in the PSG squad.

And currently Luis Enrique also needs some ideal players to help make PSG fans' dream of becoming Champions come true, and I will not doubt Luis Enrique because he is a coach who already has a lot of experience in the Champions and of course he will do it he something to win it, now it's just a matter of waiting who will be the mainstay next season, because we know Luis Enrique is very skilled at seeing the potential of young players.

In fact, Lens has just played in Ligue 1 for four seasons because after all, the reality is that Lens previously only played in Ligue 2. But indeed, since the first season Lens became a promotion team in the 2020/2021 season until now, the fact is that Lens has always finished in seventh position, and only in the 2022/2023 season Lens managed to finish in second position. So, because in the previous season Lens finished in seventh position again, I think it is still a reasonable result, because basically Lens is not a top team that can consistently be in the title race.

But indeed, because considering Lens is a promotion team but Lens is still able to consistently at least finish in the top seven during the last four seasons then ofcourse, it is a very extraordinary result for a team that comes from the lower division. So yes, maybe with a good record like that then I personally believe that Lens will still be able to have good results next season, because it looks like they also have good management as evidenced by their good results over the last four seasons.
I agree, usually Lens is having their spot in Ligue 2 where they were doing decent job, but they have good luck with at the end of the 2020 which season was early ended by LFP Lens were at the second spot and having promotion due to this early end of the season, but now they are doing good job with having spot in last year's Champions League and now having end in top 7 mean they need to be more stable which is possible just because of having good finances which is currently problem of many French clubs which are suffering badly.

If they are able to keep things on good level then surely we can expect good results with consistency because having stay into top ranks for any soccer club in any league is not easy and this all need good strategy and better finances now in coming years they could be in Conference League which is also good chance of having things on better way.

Ligue 1 is and has never been a problem to PSG rather the champions league is what they are willing to give their all for because that's one trophy they admire so much and yet have not been able to win it recently. One thing I believe mostly is that mbappe was an advantage to PSG mainly for the champions league and not their domestic league actually, in their domestic league, PSG can always find a way around been able to win the title and even if they don't win they will have a place athe top so for getting to win the champions league some day they would when they must have built the team way beyond.
PSG ambition to win the Champions League trophy will not stop after Mbappe departure, PSG is still trying to realize their dream of becoming the number one club in Europe for the first time in their history. However, this is not as easy as turning the palm of your hand, we realize that PSG is financially capable, but will not be able to speed up the process of realizing their dream. Building a solid foundation, by remaining the most dominant in Ligue 1 every season, can increase their chances of winning the Champions League trophy in the future. Luis Enrique has a wealth of experience in managing a club, PSG should keep him for a long time, who knows, in the future this collaboration will produce the expected results.

Even after Mbappe's departure, Paris Saint Germain remain the biggest favorite in the French Ligue 1. But we all know that they want to win the Champions League more than the French Ligue 1. According to media reports, they are preparing to make a €200 million transfer offer to Napoli for the transfer of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen. If these two players go to Paris Saint Germain, Paris Saint Germain will win the French League 1 more easily. Honestly, I would like to see a team that can challenge them in the French Ligue 1. Because then the French Ligue 1 will become a better league.

Several times ago i was looking for the news about Lyon manager Pierre Sage because after his contract ended this season i think he deserved to gets new contract and under him Lyon progress is really fantastic that within months he can lifted up Lyon position from relegation zone to European zone or top 6 and recently i have read the news that Lyon has give 2 years contract extension for Pierre Sage so if he can stayed according to his contract then Pierre Sage will be at Lyon until 2026 and i think this is good news because i am confident Lyon will performing well under him next season

Lyon so far was quite active this summer because they have already to buy some players which mostly some of defender players such as Duje Caleta-Car, Abner Vinícius and Moussa Niakhate and i can see it that one of the weaknesses Lyon is their defensive lines because they have conceded 55 goals during this season so Pierre Sage want to more concern about these lines besides those players above Lyon also has successfully to permanent Mama Balde status from Troyes and after seeing their behavior i am quite excited to see Lyon performance next season because they potentially can fight to compete for champion league zone or top 4

next season if Lyon performs well they could even fight for the title because in my opinion PSG will be weakened or not as strong as in past seasons because mbappe left PSG, so this is a good opportunity for other teams in the Ligue1 manage to win the league and with that the league becomes more competitive, but unfortunately what happens in Ligue1 is that even when PSG is weak the other teams don't take advantage of it, on the contrary they become weaker, which makes PSG lose become champion. anyway, Lyon should at least fight for a place in European competitions

PSG have spent a lot of money in the past just to win the UCL trophy and since then we've learned that the club has a lot of financial clout but we've seen them spend a lot of money in the wrong places in previous seasons. Spending so much money in the wrong places has seen them not have much success in those seasons. At the time we used to say that they took whoever they thought without a plan and it must have been due to the lack of a qualified manager but now they have a qualified manager at the club but now we don't see much money being spent in the transfer market on behalf of this team. If they plan properly now and prepare for the UCL tournament then maybe they can do well in the UCL tournament next season. Now that there is time they need to plan now and spend their money now to recruit quality players to their club.

PSG's mistake in my opinion was that they focused on big player signings and ignored the importance that a coach who has had great achievements in the champions league could bring to the team. PSG management didn't take something important like choosing a good coach seriously. The Champions League is a tournament in which having a coach who knows the league well can be an advantage. but the PSG management kept choosing coaches who hadn't won the champions league, I don't know why
