As far as I know, PSG has always failed to win the Champions League even though they have been strengthened by many star players such as Neymar, Messi and Mbappe. This season they will definitely have difficulty considering that the team they will be opposing is really strong. Milan, Dortmund and Newcastle are strong teams, so of course Luis Enrique really has a super difficult job this season in the Champions League.

I can expect PSG to qualify for the round of 16 but I'm not sure they can qualify easily for another knockout stage like the quarter-finals or semi-finals. PSG have not been very good this season in terms of squad depth, but Enrique could perhaps do something different for them.
The presence of star players who are specialized by the club turns into intervention against the coach. Enrique can bring PSG to the path of success, if he is given flexibility in making decisions, whether to recruit players or rotate players according to his tactics. Without interference and pressure from club officials, success will be realized sooner or later.

Milan, Dortmund and Newcastle don't have players as good as PSG, it is predicted that PSG can progress to the last 16 smoothly even though Group F is very competitive.
I think you paint a quite surprising notion. Look at group F where you can't underestimate the other three teams because they have a big target in the Champions League this season. I think PSG will face a big challenge in this match, especially when they face the Bundesliga representative team. Group f is the most difficult for them to penetrate the next round.

Indeed the depth of the team is an advantage that is owned by PSG but know that there is always luck that can approach other teams in Group F this time. I think the chances of Dortmund and Newcastle United are still quite balanced and they will be ready to compete with PSG to advance to the round of 16.

I think there will be surprising results in the matches in this group. There is a high probability that PSG will leave the group, but I have a feeling PSG will not be able to leave the group. Even when Messi was in, they couldn't get the trophy and they can't show the game they want in the champions league on the field. I think it will be the same this year.

I made the same criticism last year, and I do it now. PSG is a team full of star players, but in big games they have problems in defense. I think it will be the same again this year.

Haaland will not go to PSG, City already pays him a lot of money and he is getting a lot of success there, why would he want to leave? I would understand Real Madrid to a point because he could get a lot of success there as well, but why would he go to PSG when they already have so many strikers and still fail.

I think PSG should try to keep Mbappe as much as they possibly can, and if they can do that it would be great for them, but if they fail to do it then they could find some other players that could increase the overall value of a club. Like instead of replacing a 200 million dollar player, increase 5 places on the squad with 40+ million dollar valuation of the current roster, and you get a 200 million dollar increase anyway.
PSG have priorities to meet up this summer, appointing a new coach after parting ways with Christope Galtier, in addition with several important players. Nasser Al-Khelaifi keen on signing Erling Haaland from Manchester City, how true is this piece of information? I consider it to be mere rumor because that's exactly the information that circulates round the football transfer window. PSG have no plans to sign the Norway international, rather they're pushing to make their club a better one after signing potential players inother to filled in the vacant positions left open by the crucial players that have exited.

The PSG team has been trying hard for the past few seasons to build the team to secure the Champions League title. But despite having the best players in the world in the squad, the team failed to perform well in the Champions League. I don't think PSG team can perform well in any league other than League One.
Let's look at this season, although in the PSG squad there are no longer as many star players as in last season, perhaps this season PSG can get better changes so that they can fight better in the Champions League even though I also think that this season PSG will still It is difficult to get a trophy in the Champions League because many other teams are much stronger this season so this will definitely continue to make it difficult for PSG to win a trophy in the Champions League.

Haven't you considered the draw in PSG first two matches of the season in Ligue 1, because in the first match PSG this season played without Mbappe. Also, in PSG second match and in fact, Mbappe came on as a substitute in the second half and at that time PSG managed to score a goal through Mbappe. With results like that, it is at least clear that PSG cannot get good results when PSG plays without Mbappe. With such high dependence on only one player, then of course you can't expect PSG to play well in the Champions League. Because in fact, even only playing in Ligue 1, it is still very difficult for PSG to win if they play without Mbappe.

Actually PSG still have an impressive squad with young talents. Losing Messi and Neymar isn't good news for most of the fans of course but this was going to happen sooner or later. Messi was already thinking of leaving the team much earlier. Neymar was getting injured quite often at the same time so it was good for PSG to part ways with him.

Now they will just need to be patient for a while. These new youngsters would need some time to show better performances. I'm curious about especially Kolo Muani. PSG spent a lot of money for him. He can be a great investment for the long-term depending on his effort. Do you think Kolo Muani can score many goals in his first season?

Assuming Haaland left Manchester City, his great destination would have been Real Madrid. PSG is a team with too many controversies. The big stars also gradually left PSG.
Coming to Ligue 1, there was little competition, and PSG was destined to become king. Please look back at the careers of Neymar and Mbappé when they arrived at PSG. It decreases over time. Suppose Mbappé continues to bury his youth with the PSG club. Then, his career will decline. PSG has nothing but abundant financial resources. Let's see if PSG are making any players stand out or ruining their careers.
It is very true that Realmadrid would had been a very good destination for Haaland if he decides to leave Manchester City but theirs still a possibility that he would had as well ended up at PSG given that they're very financially capable of getting him into their team, we've seen in recent times that clubs that are financially strong easily attracts top players into their Club, PSG is not a small club and would offer him the opportunity in the Champions League as Realmadrid would also, moreover before the likes of Neymar and Messi moved over there they're several other top stars like  Ibrahimovic and Cavani that's succeeded in the club, I feel Messi and Neymar didn't leave up to expectations that's they had to leave and more Neymar's was due to his numerous injuries, I don't see PSG as a club that ruin players career, because over there a player is sure of winning the league trophy and standing out is based on a players individual performance and not the club's fault.
Haaland will not go to PSG, City already pays him a lot of money and he is getting a lot of success there, why would he want to leave? Indeed, but there may be a special agreement issued for PSG and Mbappe. So let's just see. Actually, Mbappe's performance in some matches looks improved because there are other factors. PSG's incoming transfers are quite good as Dembele, Muani, Asensio. So actually PSG did a good game. So they were quite good in their last game. The doubtful thing may be that for Europe, they will probably have a hard time competing in Europe.
Enrique's task is harder to go in the future how to bring PSG to be able to play consistently in the Champions League because from some previous coaches it is very difficult to do the work even though they have star players in it. So let's see how Enrique's ability can have a positive impact on the team, tactics and strategies are needed to be the mainstay of PSG to compensate for other teams to reach the quarter -finals. Dembele, Muani and Asensio will be a new force that can help PSG because for the last match almost the three of them have adapted well with old players.

For the domestic league I do not doubt PSG because before they were strong enough and very difficult for other teams to break their consistency, only last season a little decreased because some players who were associated with problems with one with another. Mbappe will survive if PSG can be one of the challengers in the Champions League and I am sure that if Enrique is able to do that then Mbappe will last at least for one to two seasons.

PSG is one of the teams that spend a lot of money in the French league in the transfer season and if they don't succeed in the champions league this year, it may be a little sad for the team.
PSG, who spent incredible money on some players, will dominate the league this season, but whether they will succeed in the champions league is of course a matter of debate. Although they sold Neymar for 90 million euros, the total money they spent is around 350 million euros.
PSG will be the team I am curious about the performance of this season, spending a minimum of 22 million euros and a maximum of 95 million euros on players such as Kolo Muani, Ugarte, Dembele, Hernandez, Barcola, Ekitike and finally Kang-in Lee.
Yes, the Champions League is always a parameter for a club success, and PSG is no different. Spending a lot of budget to improve the squad is of course in line with their big goal, namely to become the best in Europe. Currently PSG is in third place with the most expensive squad in the world, beating other big clubs like Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Man United, Liverpool and Barcelona.

In line with your opinion, the amount of money spent on each transfer market has not been able to make PSG win the UCL. We are all very curious as to whether they will succeed in making it happen this season. For Ligue 1 PSG is not in doubt, but in the UCL they have to work hard since the group phase because they are in the hellish group.

If Haaland becomes willing to play for a different team by the end of this season I think PSG should try their luck as well. Because there is a big difference between a PSG with and without a world star player. I'm saying this considering that Mbappe leaves the team next summer though. If this doesn't happen then PSG wouldn't need to go for such player.
I never heard that if haaland has said that before. Am i missing something here? If that will come true and i predict madrid as a club that has biggest chance in getting him. PSG may able to try its luck. but madrid is far better than PSG for haaland. I don't even think haaland will be leaving in at the end of this season. The future of mbappe is still remain complicated. I saw that khelaifi was stating so many things about mbappe, he has even praised him.
There's no further development regarding the decision from the future of mbappe in PSG.

But if it does happen then PSG had better sign a top player like Mbappe. Haaland or someone else but it would be the best for them to sign such player in that case. It brings a big advantage to be more competitive for the Champions League title.
It's impossible to find another mbappe. It will be so difficult for PSG to get haaland as he was only willing to play in the competitive league. He may think of going to the la liga or serie a instead of league 1.
As far as I recall, Haaland mentioned that he was open to playing in all leagues, however, I am unsure which league he now considers to be his priority following league 1.

Paris Saint-Germain F.C had to lose their second match after losing to Marseille with a score of 1-0, this is a very bad result for Paris Saint-Germain F.C. because in the first two games they couldn't get a point.
Paris Saint Germain is big team that is going through rehabilitation process because of they currently brought in about 8 new players . How do expect the team to fair well or to do well immediately? I think it's too early to judge Luis Enrique side because they are still getting to know theirselves, So with time they will do very well or will I say perform very well. I trust Luis Enrique process he will take Paris Saint Germain to a new level .
This season many star players have left so this club has to be restructured. Luis Enrique, a very experienced manager, has been entrusted with the task of rebuilding the club. Many world-class players have left PSG, so PSG needs to bring in world-class players to fill the shortage of world-class players. If one of the strongest forward lines can't team up well, everyone can laugh at this team. Since PSG has no financial problems and since Luis Enrique is currently in charge of PSG, I believe that Luis Enrique will build this team very nicely. If Luis Enrique can build the best team and win the Champions League then he will be one of the best managers for PSG as no manager has ever achieved this for PSG.

I think the matter of Kylian Mbappe's future isn't supposed to be the a case of discussion now that the transfer window is over. Kylian Mbappe is a Paris Saint Germaine player and will continue to be their player till the end of the summer. Luis Enrique has been given all the necessary backings he needs to succeed in his first season as a PSG manager.
Though Mbappe wants to leave the French capital to continue his footballing career, but it's been reported in the media that he's going to sign a one year contract extension with the club so he can be sold for reasonable amount of money when he'll be leaving next summer.

I have read the rumors you said in this post, this idea even emerged after Mbappe rejoined the PSG squad. but unfortunately, there is no concrete news that reports what really happened. So, it would be very natural if there was a lot of wild speculation reported by many sports media. However, currently Mbappe is still playing under Luis Enrique. in fact, he has contributed 4 goals from his 3 matches with Paris Saint-Germain. His presence again means a lot to Luis Enrique and the PSG squad. it's just that if we talk about Mbappe's contract, this season is his last season with Les Parisiens. either he will leave for free, or PSG have a new deal with him. In essence, Mabppe will leave next summer. Thus, Luis Enrique must prepare his team's squad to find a potential replacement. I think, with the finances they have, PSG can bring in other talented players. so, in the end PSG must be ready for the departure of its star. the point is at this time, PSG must show their best game. both in the Ligue 1 League, and in the Champions League. Enrique has a duty, to bring their team as far as they go, especially in the Champions League.

I believe it is more complex because PSG could have played better if they had more of those hard challenges in their league. They lack challenges, they can't get used to the hardest competition mode during their Ligue 1 games. Maybe a few times a year they have a game that really challenges them in Ligue, but is it like really hard? No and that is a problem whereas Manchester City is playing tough games almost every second weekend including the Champions League. They are used to working at their limits. PSG is not.

Every league has a different tension and with that, it doesn't mean PSG doesn't have tough competition in Ligue 1. Because anyway, if PSG does not have tough competition in Ligue 1 then of course PSG is very easy to dominate Ligue 1. But the fact is, PSG still has to work hard to dominate Ligue 1 and that means, PSG still gets tough competition in Ligue 1 too. After all, you can't think Ligue 1 is an easy league, because after all the tough competition will always be there even if they dominate the league and it's never easy to achieve the highest achievements.

Paris Saint-Germain is a competitive club that has previously reached the UEFA Champions League final and lost to Bayern Munich; the Parisians can accomplish it a second time. The main issue they're experiencing is inconsistencies with regard to their performance; they're definitely going through an uproarious patch, though I'm hoping they can return to their former glory shortly. PSG continued to make an effort to reach fundamental phases of the UEFA Champions League, but it remains unattainable because the club has encountered shortcomings and the board keeps making exactly the same mistakes it has carried out in previous decades.

Talking about Mbappe, it seems that his relationship with PSG president Al Khelaifi has improved and it seems that the owner also says that Mbappe is an extraordinary player. It is possible that we will see an agreement to extend his contract for another year or more precisely until the summer of 2025. So it is possible that Mbappe will not leave for free and PSG will of course be very willing to let him go to any club, especially Real Madrid, who really want him. But the focus now is that Mbappe is focused and his mind is only on PSG and for European competition it seems that we cannot fully hope if he is still at PSG this season.

There is no news regarding Mbappe's future, even though there are no problems with Khelaifi. It makes me feel doubt with any words being stated by PSG chairman. I meant i can't even fully trust him even though he was PSG chairman.
Mbappe's future is still uncertain at this moment. I remember when carvajal revealed if he has ever talked about mbappe's transfer saga once mbappe dropped from pre season tour in japan.

https://twitter.com/Football__Tweet/status/1699325013080322287

I am eagerly waiting for the extension of Mbappe's contract in PSG and I hope it happens, unless something unexpected occurs. Mbappe may leave in winter transfer season.

I would like to mention liverpool as a potential team to buy him once FSG will decide to sell salah to the saudi pro league club.

I think that currently Luis Enrique is just continuing the strategy inherited from Galtier which has been very neatly arranged and Enrique is just continuing all of this and I think Luis Enrique will really feel how difficult it is to build Paris SG stronger and be able to take Paris SG to the next level when Kylian Mbappe left this club because of this problem, coach Enrique will really feel how difficult it is to build a club that is very difficult to show strength in League 1, even in the Champions League, it still fails to perform consistently even though having star players in this club does not guarantee that it can perform well. in a big league like the champions league, I can't even imagine what the fate of Paris SG will be after losing Mbappe.

It is clear that currently it is difficult to find a striker who has abilities as good as Mbappe, but football is not just a game for 1 player but 11 player, so when PSG is able to find a suitable and compact striker in their front line, i am sure that PSG will no longer be dependent on Mbappe.  Actually, Neymar is also a very good striker but his ethics are not good, Enrique is quite an experienced coach, he must be able to prove himself to make PSG much better than last season even though Messi and several other star players are no longer at PSG.

PSG's current position is in 2nd place in the Ligue 1 standings, they are below Monaco, which has a much cheaper player value than PSG.
The media has tried to play up a much bigger issue concerning PSG and Mbappe, as if without these players PSG can't do anything. Luis Enrique can prepare the best squad for PSG for the next few seasons and if management gives him time then I'm sure PSG will be even better in the future, especially when they play in the Champions League. Now what he needs to do is find the right replacement on the front lines if Mbappe plans to leave next season and they also have to get used to being without Mbappe if they want to achieve success in several competitions.

I agree that Mbappe has an important role in the PSG squad and he is one of the best players at the moment in terms of scoring goals and playing skills. But PSG can't hope for Mbappe forever because every player wants to play at a different club to achieve their individual career. Currently they are two points behind Monaco and Luis Enrique's job is to focus on winning the next match.

PSG will have to start thinking about the future without keeping Mbappe in the conversation from now on. Because I think everyone knows that he is definitely going to leave the club as soon as he can. So PSG will have to think about what they can do in the future without him and how they can improve.

Obviously, he is a very good player, there is no doubt about that. But it is very clear that he does not want to stay in the PSG club. So I do not think that the conversation is, about whether they are able to do anything without him or not. The actual conversation is about how are they going to approach the future knowing that he is not going to be a part of the squad.
