So far the one red card in Marseille was really effective in the first half and maybe that's why the game is still 0-0 between Marseille and Metz.
This match is as I predicted, if there will not be many goals in this match, I predict Under 2.5 goals with odds @ 1.91. and yes, the result of this match ended with a score of 1-1. unfortunately, one of Marseille's players was given a red card, namely Samuel Digot. but amazingly, Marseille was still able to score a goal in the 56th minute. unfortunately, Marseille was unable to maintain its lead and Metz was able to equalize the lead in the 61st minute.
Referring to match statistics, Marseille dominated with 66% of ball possession. 18 total shots, 4 big chances. even though Marseille actually played with only 10 players. meanwhile, Metz didn't offer much resistance. Metz only had 3 total shots, 3 shots on target, 2 big chances. As a result, this match ended in a 1-1 draw. Marseille remains in the same ranking, as does Metz, remaining in 16th place. Both teams only got the same one point.
But everything changed drastically because victory did not belong to Marseille because Metz managed to score goal to equalize in the 61st minute and it was shame that one of their mainstay defenders, Samuel Digot, had to be given red card.
With the release of Samuel Digot, Marseille defense became even more messy, all the players seemed confused about continuing to pursue filling the void in every position left by Samuel Digot.
During the first half it was clear that Marseille really dominated the match with possession of the ball and dominant attacks, but they still lacked sharpness in every attack attempt.
All the opportunities that Marseille had were only able to produce 1 goal, this was quite disappointing match.
