In their efforts to escape the degradation zone, Lyon was again faced with a tough match against Marseille. After recording three lucky wins, Lyon again reaped disappointing results in the following two matches, Marseille was a nightmare for them. With all the possibilities, Lyon still has a chance to survive in Ligue 1 next season. There are still 14 matches ahead which must be used as momentum to record a turning point in performance, luck must be maximized and work hard, Lyon must force Marseille to a draw, that is more realistic with the situation they are facing.
About Lyon apparently the owner has been respond this situation that Lyon is really required new players to strengthen their squad and it is necessary because they want to survive at Ligue 1 and this january Lyon was very active on transfer window because at least Lyon has bought 7 players and one of them is experience player Nemanja Matic which is transfered from Rennes and with his experience to playing at different clubs Lyon hopes Nemanja Matic can bringing positive impact for this team especially for their defensive lines which is one of their weaknesses this season

About this match Marseille is the favourite because obviously their recent performance is more better than Lyon and Marseille also has successfully beat Lyon with final scores 3-0 on december last year but with the arrival of new players i hope Lyon can able to improved their performance today especially Marseille is their traditional rival so i am sure the fans don't want to see Lyon lost today and i know it's quite hard to get the winning result from Marseille but at least Lyon can targetting draw result from this match and for betting purposes i think both teams to scores is quite good

What you want to say in this case is actually because from the beginning we did not talk about the problem of illness but about Mbappe's future at PSG which will not be long.
Honestly I don't really understand what you want to say in this case because I don't feel that I said that Mbappe was seriously ill in this case and I even re-read what I wrote there is no mention that I said that Mbappe had a disease or anything.
We're discussing the uncertainty about Mbappe whether he'll stay or not at PSG and I'm not talking about illness at all in this case.
Honestly this confuses me buddy, what are you trying to tell me in this Mbappe context?

You literally said that nobody knows whether he will survive next season. Survive next season. Survive what?

As I said before, this is the first time in my life that someone who is not even a native speaker would use the word "survive" to talk about contracts in football or something. This is weird! Cheesy Many people confuse words, that's correct because it isn't their native language. But how someone can use the term survive is beyond me. I have no idea what "survive" then means in your native language if you use a standard translator, but for me survive can be applied in quite a lot of circumstances, but not contract duration unless there is a very specific setup to be described with this word.

Anyways, let's close this back and forth as I am not sure you understood why that word would really never be used in that context. It isn't just a little bit wrong, it is so confusing that you are literally opening up an entirely different topic. "I don't know whether Mbappe will survive next season". Cheesy At lest it is funny (assuming that Mbappe is healthy...).

what I observe at the moment is that Lyon is most likely still escaping the relegation zone and I have a strong reason to say this because I compared several teams that are in the relegation zone, only Lyon is still having a good performance as you said, getting 3 consecutive wins. is a sign that this team still has hope of surviving in League 1.
It's just that currently Lyon only needs a few new players who can help this team to improve its performance and the most important thing is the attacking players who must be paid attention to because Lyon attacking line players are not strong enough to compete in League 1.

and currently we may see Lyon looking very bad but this is not something new because in the past Lyon has experienced serious problems like this but in the end managed to get out of the relegation zone and is just waiting for the right time.

Lens won narrowly over Nantes and I think this is an important additional 3 points for Lens to immediately return to the competition in the top 4 of the standings. Nantes actually played quite well in this match, but every chance they had failed to convert into goals. Lens actually only scored a goal at the start of the second half and at least Nantes still had plenty of time to do it. But unfortunately Lens' defense was also very good so winning with a one goal advantage was felt to be enough to secure full points.

Currently Lens has collected 32 points (the same number as Lille) and is in 6th position in the standings. Lens needs at least one more win in the next match to be able to displace Monaco, but Monaco and Lille will start their match today so it is possible that they will again have additional points if these two teams win again.

In today's match of Strasbourg vs PSG team in French Soccer League, I enjoyed a tough match between two teams. However, if Strasbourg team played well in the first half of the game, it seems that Strasbourg team could have drawn the match. Strasbourg team made many efforts to draw today's match.  Couldn't. PSG team won the match by scoring 2 goals in today's match. PSG team played well in the first half of the game but PSG team couldn't score any goals after halftime.

PSG won the game but they were risking to lose points at any time of the game.
The draw against Brest might boost them to get these three points, otherwise Strasbourg would surprise them too.
Montpellier failed also to win against Rennes even though they made some attempts to score. Same scenario in the two games thought.
Nice will have a game tomorrow against Brest and is expected to lose at least a point, this will be a good news for PSG to increase the gap between them.
Yes, that's right because the matches against Brest and Strasbourg were not good results and it was a very close score and if they made one mistake PSG could end up losing against Brest and against Strasbourg it could also end in a draw so I agree with you that the score is like time it's very risky.
PSG looks consistent but the narrow score for me is not very good and there should be an improvement in terms of performance because I believe that PSG often underestimate other clubs when they get a superior score, just play normally without paying attention to opponents who keep trying to pressure PSG defense and if in the match Furthermore, PSG still has a performance like this, I'm not sure it can look consistent.

Talking about today's match Nice will play against Brest while this club will be the host and one side Brest is in a very strong condition and it is certain that everyone will say the same thing if Nice will lose points in that match.
PSG certainly hopes that Brest will be able to beat Nice because Nice's defeat will make the point difference even wider, but it will actually be a threat to PSG because if Nice loses, Brest will definitely be in second place, while Brest is in good form and could become PSG competitor in fighting for the title league 1 this season.

Paris Saint Germaine's dominance in the French Ligue 1 I don't think is ending anytime soon because none of the other French teams possesses the needed quality of players that can challenge the French champions. I was surprised to see that some people already thought that Paris Saint Germaine's draw last week again Brest is gonna affect their quest to retain the French league title.

I also agree with what you said. Looking at the strength of the teams in Ligue 1 this season, I don't think there is any team that can be a rival to PSG in the league. PSG will truly dominate the league for the next few seasons. A draw against Brest will not change any facts. A team can under-perform, including PSG. But a win against Stasbourg should be enough to prove that they are still the strongest in Ligue 1. They continue to maintain their points and I think it will be difficult for Nice to catch PSG.

If the result does not change then Lens will win this match and currently Lens has a narrow lead when they play the away match to Nantes. The score shows 0 - 1 for victory in sight for Lens and they must maintain this advantage until the end. The result is as we saw and maybe Nantes will not have enough time to equalize the score and maybe this will be an additional 3 points for Lens.

Strasbourg did try hard to score a goal but none of their forward players could finish it well, which could be said to be less effective. PSG itself played with confidence from the first half, in fact in the first half Mbappe had the opportunity to score a goal via a penalty, unfortunately he failed to take advantage of that opportunity to score. Even so, Mbappe did not give up and what was great was that he soon managed to pay for his failure by scoring the first goal in PSG victory over Strasbourg in that match. This victory further strengthens Paris Saint-Germain's position in first place in the standings so that they can now think about the Champions League.
Strasbourg failed with many attempts and goal opportunities in that match, even though they took 20 shots and 8 of them were on target. In that match, PSG's defense and defensive players' performance was very good. They only conceded 1 goal and finished the match with a 1-2 win.

The high tension of the match almost made PSG draw, but fortunately Gianluigi Donnarumma's performance in that match really saved them from losing maximum points. Now PSG has a 9 point advantage over Nice, that makes PSG comfortable at the top of the standings and can allow it to focus on other competitions including the Coupe de France.

However, this is quite a difficult match for Strasbourg because PSG is the strongest team in Ligue 1 so when a team wants to try to prevent PSG from winning they have to be better prepared from the first half.
So what we saw was that PSG was able to score 1 goal in the first half and this indicated that Strasbourg was really not ready to prevent PSG from achieving victory. Even though were able to increase the tempo of their game, they became a little more aggressive to equalize, but they couldn't finish it perfectly.

Well, the additional 3 points make PSG comfortable again to continue leading the standings. Mbappe and Asensio were able to bring PSG back to winning ways after being held to a draw by Brest in the previous match. So for Nice they are yet 9 points behind PSG who lead the standings and if they fail to win against Brest then it will be increasingly difficult for them to put up resistance in the race for the title.

The problem is the uncertainty of whether Mbappe will survive or not next season because after all, with the drama they created at the beginning of last season, this is actually a sign that Mbappe's future at PSG will not last long because until now, in my opinion, PSG only continues to try to impose its will by holding Mbappe in the conditions of Mbappe's contract which is not long over.

This will have a domino effect in the end if indeed Mbappe leaves, PSG will inevitably pour out considerable capital to bring star players as their replacement but if indeed Mbappe survives, at least there is little hope while looking for suitable players in midfield because until now the attack line with Mbappe in it has been very good, it's just that their midfield and of course their coach are also still quite dubious.

"...the uncertainty of whether Mbappe will survive or not next season..."

Is Mbappe sick or something? Damn this is huge news you are spreading here, but I couldn't find any headlines or any other source that confirms Mbappe might die next season. Where did you get the information from that nobody really knows whether Mbappe will survive next season? I doubt that Real Madrid would be willing to sign a player as the new big figure who is supposed to drive the future of Real Madrid forward if they can't tell whether he is even going to live for another 12 months.

I am very curious where you got these news from and if you can share your source, then please do it. But I respect if you got some inside information here. Too bad Mbappe is ill. I hope the best for him.
The context remains the same where the current contract is about to expire, making PSG and Mbappe start the drama in the end.
We know that in the last 2 seasons PSG's early season problems have always been troubled to keep Mbappe from leaving PSG and it does not rule out that this season will also be the same especially by looking at the remaining contracts that occur and some rumors that say that Mbappe's short-term contract extension is only to make him sold so that PSG does not lose money still continues to echo.

Technically this should be the benchmark because we know that every season the conditions of Mbappe and PSG remain the same without the slightest difference from the contract issue.

It's not about who will be Mbappe's future club whether it's Real Madrid or any club it doesn't matter for now but the most important thing is the contract and the drama they always do because in the end even if now Mbappe and PSG get along again it's not impossible that at the end of this season and before the summer transfer opens there is a condition where Mbappe strikes again to play and PSG gives an ultimatum which actually seems soft like last season.

Ok so you were not saying that Mbappe could die anytime soon I guess because you were talking about the uncertainty of whether he will survive or not. I am not sure why you are talking about his health or a deadly disease when there are no news on the internet to be found that he is deadly ill. As far as I know he is in great condition and if he was ill and could die I think it would have long been public news. That's why I was surprised why you are talking about his life soon perhaps coming to an end. But maybe you were talking about his contract at PSG and then used the word "survive"? It is pretty weird though.

Nice doesn't have the qualities of comprehending the team's level, things will fall smoothly in place and Nice knows their place already. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi will continue to push for excellent outcomes, ensuring that he makes beneficial signings in the transfer window, players capable of enhancing the team's performance. Here's the question: I don't understand why a top team like PSG will struggle to win games against average teams when they have the necessary big names and an experienced coach who is making it his top priority to ensure things go smoothly for the club.
PSG is usually very liberal or better say free with their way and pattern of buying players unlike other team who may probably due to limited resources don't go into buying players just so quick but the the importance of new players who can help the team achieve more by the end of the season is something we can't put out just like that.

PSG's strength today has got a lot to do with their financial capacity as their president is really investing so much into the team in order to make sure that the team achieve that which has been their desire the most especially as it has to do with the winnings of the UCL trophy by the end of one of the season which I think if they put in place what's very much needed of them, achieving such height is something they can do soonest but then they will need More than just buying of players to enable them get to the height they desire the most .

PSG got a good win, they are keeping the difference high or at least as high as possible, and they are not leaving many games down, so that they could keep getting the win, I think that should be the most important thing. I get that it is not going ot be easy for other teams to accept this fact, but as long as they have this owner and this much money, PSG will not get worse. They should not lose hope though, we are talking about Lyon possibly getting relegated, when they won seven in a row, that means PSG could one day get bad too, it all depends on the situation.

A new owner, a bad management, and suddenly other teams could end up with a win. But meanwhile, PSG will keep on dominating this league, they should at least hope that Mbappe leaves this summer.

After the win against Strasbourg yesterday, it became clearer to doubters that PSG are destined to win the league title this season season. If there's anything to worry about for PSG, it should be the issue of winning the UEFA Champions League trophy this season. That has undoubtedly been the club's biggest issue since they current owners took over the club's ownership and if they fail to win this season that seems to be the final season of Kylian Mbappe at the club, winning it again will be more difficult than ever

It's a player's decision if he wants to stay in a club or leave, also it depends on his contract signed with the team as well as the teams decision to either keep him or let him go. In PSG, Mbappe is one key man that they don't want to give off yet. Even though his contract is set to expire by summer, they still know he's advantageous and would want to keep him. For Mbappe, his stay in the team beyond and after the expiration of the contract seems to be dependent on his intentions as well as the teams performance in the long run.

Good thing for him that Madrid may not really be interested in him yet until summer so he's got to be a bit patient till then, then maybe, he'd be willing to join the Spanish side. Even though Liverpool are questing for him as well, ion think they'll be set to afford that amount for him during this January transfer window. Let's just see how the next 30days would be as regards Mbappe and teams surrounding him.

Sometimes it's possible we pass messages in the wrong words with a different intent as we have people from different countries on this forum and it's possible we all are not original English speakers so it's possible there could be mixups with application of words, phrase and other tenses but getting the intent behind such message is most important.

Mbappes stay in PSG is at this point not very sure because there hasn't been any solid conclusion as it regards if he's staying back after this season or he's leaving and there have been several bids on his movement but he's yet to accept or sign any new deal, although this is from my news gathered few weeks back I don't know if in recent times there have been changes. There have been many circumstances around his movement by the end of the season and I think it will be more clear by the end of the season then we would know if he's staying back at PSG or moving els where.

I am totally fine with people not being native English speakers and therefore use words that may not be the proper choice in certain contexts, but talking about Mbappe surviving something is a wild choice if it was supposed to mean something other than him having some disease or so. But whatever, I guess he was talking about Mbappe and meant that if he "survives", then he "stays" in France or something? I don't know.

But let's wait for the next few months and I am sure the media will be full of Mbappe headlines when it's March or April and as soon as PSG gets eliminated from the Champions League, the discussion about his next destination will be on fire again.

If Nice wins, they will maintain a 6-point gap from PSG. If Nice loses, Brest will get second place replacing Nice because they are superior on goal difference. This match is a decisive match to maintain their position in the Champions League next season. Because I don't think anyone can replace PSG in first place. So this match is important for Nice and Brest because whichever team loses, their position will be threatened by Monaco and Lille who are also pursuing their target of reaching the Champions League next season.

Or maybe the Brest vs Nice match ends in a draw, I think there is a big possibility that this could happen. remember, Nice has a fairly solid defense line. so far Nice has only conceded 11 goals in 19 matches, the team that has conceded the fewest so far, in Lique 1. however, on the other hand, Nice's productivity in terms of scoring goals is not that impressive given the ranking they currently occupy. as for Brest, this team is only three points behind Nice. what is certain is that Brest will target full points so that they can shift their position to 2nd place in the Ligue 1 standings. moreover, Brest is playing as the home team in this meeting. however, it is not an easy matter to beat Nice. so, I think this match has the potential to end in a draw. even if one of these two teams wins the match, I still have confidence that AS Monaco will have the opportunity to overtake the teams above them. with the exception of PSG. I mean, this giant French League team doesn't really have tough competitors. at least, not like last season. well, there is no guarantee that Nice or Brest will be able to maintain their ranking until the end of the season. moreover, talking about tickets to the Champions League. after all, there are still many matches left until the end of this competition. so, let's just enjoy what Ligue 1 has to offer.
