Let's start with the fact that for Loin the priority will now be Ligue 1, since they need to do everything possible to stay here, and cup matches will most likely become a secondary task for them, especially since this is only the 1/8 finals and objectively Lille is now significantly stronger than Lyon. There were any positives for them, PSG had been consistently winning the game in the previous matches. So, i consider it as main points to call that if PSG will make it soon. Beating nice will not be a hard task to be done.

This is just another fluctuating performance from Lyon, they could have beaten their opponent but in the next match they lost, as previously proven Lyon had just experienced two consecutive defeats and being able to beat Marseille was quite an encouraging result but that is not proof that Lyon will continue to perform well.

Lyon will face Lillie in the 16th round of the French Cup, and although Lillie is better in Ligue 1 than Lyon, they don't have convincing odds as the favorite team to win so Lyon is predicted to be able to provide tough resistance in this match and maybe they can surprise and beat Lillie

Lille is certain to beat Lyon in the upcoming match for the same reason as you said it seems that currently Lyon is not really thinking about how this team can win titles in other competitions but what Lyon is thinking about is currently getting the best position to survive in the league 1 so losing in the Coupe de France match will not be a big problem for Lyon but what Lyon has to pay attention to is that they can beat Montpellier in the upcoming match because of the opportunity to compete against a weak team to secure 3 points and for me against Lille it looks like they will only compete as it is without forcing the players to try to chase victory, but I believe that the Lyon coach will prioritize the match against Montpellier.

Lyon are slowly starting to find something they have been missing in recent times, and they can beat Marseille this time. They also played well, so this result is a well-deserved result. Getting 3 wins in the last 4 matches for me is something that is quite good for Lyon, because previously they were very difficult to get a victory.
If they can maintain and improve their performance like this, I am very sure they will be in a beter position than now. But with a note they must continue to improve.

Yest again another poor display for Gennaro Gattuso in another club and another league division. Started fine and slow, but things not been fine like I think I predicted to be.
Gattuso hasn't seen a swift manegerial career or job being successful so I hoped that for him with this job but thing's be going sideways. They're not doing fine and I wonder how they'll cope when they go on to face a  young and pacy club fill with talented youngins.

In the next two game they'll be against Shakhtar Donetsk in the European Europa League Competition and they both are not impressive. They have to step up at most Genaro Gattuso amd his team otherwise, he'll be pardoned this season bit could possibly get sacked next season.

Dembele was a failed transfer of Barcelona and they got trapped by Dortmund. Dembele missed many seasons and matches in Barcelona before Xavi came as their head coach, gave chances to Dembele and he revised his career with Xavi. Two seasons under Xavi management helped Dembele to get attention from PSG that got trapped by Barcelona.

PSG probably decided to buy Dembele when they planned to let both Messi and Neymar go. The transfer is like replacing a sensitive player (Neymar) by another vulnerable player (Dembele).

Dembele would feel good by returning to his home land after many years in Germany then Spain but it seems his body can not help him to build up good career in PSG.

Lyon's downfall this season has indeed given rise to endless debate because Lyon is a successful club in League 1 which was able to provide strong competition in the previous season but this season they have to fight in the relegation zone. This club looks quite weak for those who do not follow the struggle Lyon has always been considered a weak club in League 1, even though Lyon is not a weak club at first, they must immediately get up so they can recover and compete as usual and return to providing strong competition in League 1.

Yes, this season Lyon has quite a tough task, they have to get out of the relegation zone if they still want to be in league 1 because Lyon's current position is very unsafe. Lyon is ranked 15th out of 18 clubs. I hope Lyon victory against Marseille will be a good start for Lyon. in the next few matches and Lyon can still save themselves from the relegation zone, at least Lyon won't just give up just because they experiences a very drastic decline this season.

Dembele is like glass because he often suffers from injuries, Barcelona is lucky to be able to let him go at a price that is not cheap, PSG have not felt his maximum contribution. So far Dembele has played 23 matches in all competitions in which PSG has participated, and has only managed to score one goal, and Dembele has managed to score eight assists. Dembele return to Luis Enrique squad is certainly good news, considering that the round of 16 of the UCL will soon begin, and Enrique certainly needs Dembele to increase creativity in their front lines. It seems like Dembele is having difficulty adapting at PSG, that's why his number of goals is so low, and Dembele admits that he hasn't reached his best game since moving from Barcelona.

Lens had a perfect performance in the last season and they were racing with PSG until the last week but they couldn't have a good performance anymore in the games we saw from them and they were usually in the middle of the table while a team like Nive is currently in the good form which makes me remember everything about Lens, however, I think in the end even Nice can't reach or get close to PSG.

There is a piece of good news for PSG and it seems their player is finally getting back in the good form. Neither lens and Nice will be able to get to PSG, the chances PSG will be winning the league title this season again I'd definitely very large as both their performance and form is both very brilliant so PSg has got another season to add to their list of times they have won the Ligue 1 trophy again for this season but then by next year when mbappe leaves we are going to see if they will still be able to maintain and defend the trophy which they have had in aomg wrong.

Compared to last year, when Lens competed well in the French league, they are playing average this year. While PSG takes the lead alone with 47 points in 20 matches, Lens does not seem like a team that will challenge them this year. Even though they won against Nantes in the last match, they are still struggling to get into the top 3 places in the league.

Lens was a big exception last year and this year it is Nice, but what is it even that they are doing. They don't lose a lot of games, but they get more and more draws and PSG has an easy time to lead the table and wait for the other teams to make mistakes and allow PSG to extend their lead. It is not as if PSG would feel any pressure from the other teams because they are on a winning streak and PSG has to win their games in order to stay at the top. It doesn't matter if they lose some points from time to time, they will win the title eventually. But maybe next year a couple of things will change once Mbappe is gone. Although they still have the money to replace Mbappe with another good player.

This season is surely miserable in Ligue 1 with most of the top teams are having terrible time with their quality and performance in last season we have Lens into top teams but currently after hard fought time they are able to secure 6th and Marseille and Rennes both are down Monaco is also having not good time with they are struggling to stay Intouch with Nice and Brest which are currently at the second and third spots.

There were expectations after arrival of Auba things will be good and at the better spot for the Marseille, but sadly they are not able to win any game in this new year and now their defeat against relegation zone team Lyon is also worst for them now in this month they are going to face another relegation zone team Mets which is not able to win any game in new year like them hopefully this will bring change of fortune for them, and they will be able to win and have better results in coming games.

Brest is currently in better position to take over as second-best team with next two games are going to be tough for the Nice first they are going to host Monaco and they going to visit Lyon which is surely not easy at this time but with the performance of these teams I have feeling French League is surely going to be low quality because mentality and quality both are going down and teams are not able to improve their performance which is creating problems for them.

Currently, at the top we have five teams with just two are having good squads which are doing good work and having better attackers which are giving them good number of goals and three are having below average teams which are fail to create action and goals which are surely important for having good results at the top level in Europa and few teams are badly on decline which is also not positive thing happening to them.

I think Lyon will no longer be an easy prey. There was a bad trend and they put an end to it. Marseille, on the other hand, has been doing badly in the last matches. It can't be a coincidence that Lyon beat them. They have been really good lately and the matches they play and the results they get show us this. I'm sure Lyon will show their best performance against Lille.

It is certain that these two clubs just want to play it safe and are not thinking about breaking PSG's dominance in Ligue One. What they know is that second place can secure a greater chance of playing in the Champions League next season so no matter how hard they fight they won't be able to stop PSG. It is very difficult if there is no team that has a winning mentality and here both Nice and Brest just want to occupy a position below PSG without ever thinking about other results.

However, this result makes PSG even more unstoppable and they will be like the previous season without tight pressure from the teams below them. Once again, PSG has definitely become champions this season and I think that is a tradition that cannot be carried out by any team in Ligue One.

In first half of this season, we have just 4 wins for the Lyon which is surely worst from them and now in second half from three games they have one win which is also not good and next few games are going to be not easy as well because they are going to face top teams in league with their last win against Marseille is surely on right time and must win game which will not create good booster for them which is needed and also needed more effort for the survived because now if they will be fail then surely they could be gone down and things could be also from bad to worse for them.

Marseille is also having troubling season, and currently they are at 8th with their last win was in December if they are not going to bring improvement then surely we will have no chance for them to jump into top four because now things are going to be tough with top three teams are giving better performance and creating good difference of points from other sides.

I think, the result that Lyon will get in the Coupe de France later against Lille, maybe it can't be completely used as a benchmark about Lyon's performance recovering or not. Because yes, usually the favorite teams also sometimes lose by weak teams there in the Coupe de France. So yes, I think whether Lyon wins or loses later in the Coupe de France against Lille does not seem to have a big impact on Lyon's results in Ligue 1.

Because yes, of course Lyon's focus at this moment is to continue to stay away from the relegation zone in Ligue 1 and also, basically Lyon has had a better performance improvement also including beating Monaco in three consecutive wins at the end of the first half of the season. Therefore, I think Lyon's victory against Marseille is certainly a victory with great efforts that Lyon has, and not just relying on the luck factor.
