Indeed, PSG is not the right team for Mbappe because yes, basically Mbappe deserves to play at Real Madrid because at Real Madrid certainly has a guarantee to get a lot of achievements and trophies . But even though Mbappe is always linked to leaving for Real Madrid, the reality is that nothing is really certain. Because after all, PSG who always try to keep Mbappe also always succeed because yes, at the same time the reality is that Mbappe also does not have a strong choice whether to stay or will really leave. Because yes, at a young age, Mbappe can be satisfied only with the expensive salary he gets at PSG, so the drama about Mbappe leaving will continue to occur.
A player of Mbappe Calibre need to play in a more competitive football, not in a dominated league. Real Madrid suit him well in style of play and prestige. The romour of the move is there because of how people wnat to see a great talent to play in the highest stage. The financial aspects, including a lucrative salary, can certainly play a significant role in a player's decision-making process, especially at a young age. It's not uncommon for top players to weigh their options carefully, considering both the sporting prospects and the financial benefits.

PSG has been successful in retaining Mbappe's services so far. As the drama unfolds, football fans worldwide will undoubtedly continue to speculate on Mbappe's future. Whether he stays at PSG or eventually makes a move to Real Madrid, it will undoubtedly shape the landscape of European football. Only time will reveal the next chapter in Mbappe's career, and until then, the rumors and discussions are likely to persist.

Lens this season is different from Lens last season because in terms of quality they are no better than last season so it is difficult for Lens to get the results they achieved last season.
On the other hand, the PSG team is in top form at the moment after playing inconsistently at the start of the season so I think the percentage that PSG can win full points in the match against Lens is much greater this season.
@Republikcoin there’s a possibility that PSG may end up dropping points because whenever teams like Lens face them they’re extra motivated to beat them or steal points from the champion hence anything is really possible. Furthermore with uncertainty again creeping in due to Mbappe it’ll be interesting to see how the team reacts because there’s a big possibility that he may once again announce that he’s leaving.
Lens is not doing all that great, I am not sure if it will be easy or simple enough for them to be able to get a win out of there or not, I am not saying that it would be impossible to handle, but it would not be all that simple neither, so we should be not expecting a Lens win, or even a draw there. I am not saying it's not possible, of course Lens could shock the world, but that would be unexpected, and if you are expecting it, then you are making a mistake.

PSG should in all seriousness win this one too, they are better than everyone else and they should be winning this game too, and I am not sure why would we expect it to change anytime soon, I feel like that's the most normal outcome of anything we have seen, totally normal situation.

If you have heard the rumours about Mbappe and Real Madrid to have reached an agreement have strengthened recently. This must be really worrying news for PSG as they can't do anything against it because of Real Madrid's being able to sign a contract with him directly. The only thing here is that it would cost Real Madrid and Mbappe quite much to bring him to the team in January already.

As a result if there is really a development like this between two sides then I'm really happy for Mbappe. Because I believe PSG is just not the right place for him to get bigger achievements such as the Champions League championship.  Sad

That's his job as a striker and it's quite strange when he can't score goals in several consecutive matches because a striker can't stop scoring goals if he wants to be the best player. Mbappe has provided a lot of color for Luis Enrique's team and perhaps luck has not been there so he has had so much difficulty bringing PSG to become one of the favorite teams in the Champions League. Now his future is starting to be discussed and everyone hopes he will go to a club that can make his wishes come true and Real Madrid is the team most linked to him.

I think carrying a team alone is quite difficult. Mbappe is the best player in the world. But if he doesn't get proper teammates I think he will struggle to develop. I think Mbappe is not like Ronaldo who has the spirit of a leader so he is able to carry his teammates and even brought Portugal to win the EURO cup. Mbappe is a developing striker and he needs support from his teammates therefore I think choosing to play at another club like Real Madrid is the best choice for him for now.
I agree with you that carrying a team alone is certainly a very difficult task and it is not a task alone but also a joint task and having teammates who support each other, this cannot be separated from the tactics used by a coach if the coach can build performance team as a whole then PSG can perform better in the UCL.
Ronaldo had the spirit of a leader when he was young, but Ronaldo has teammates who can work together so that he achieves success. If Mbappè wants the UCL title, of course he has to join forces with supportive colleagues so that he doesn't carry the burden alone.
We can't compare Mbappe and Ronaldo because every professional football player has their own advantages, even though I don't really like Mbappe, it's not fair to compare these two players.
I know that to help a club win a title in a big competition, there must be solid cooperation between other players, but Mbappe doesn't seem to be able to do that and I said before that I actually don't like the way he plays, waiting for the ball without wanting to help the midfield or defense, so I would prefer Haaland to be an alternative if Mbappe fails.
If Mbappe really wants a title in the Champions League, he should be able to decide where he wants to go and immediately provide confirmation, but Mbappe chooses not to say anything but in fact remains at his current club.

The truth is that having that too much players was not doing PSG much good because one of the things I noticed about PSG that time when they have Lionel Messi, Neymar, Sergio Ramos, Mbappe and so many other player, was that it affected the performance of PSG because it was as if there was no much understanding between those players and that was the reason why they were having issues wining matches because of there over squad, if you watch PSG in those days you will observe what I'm saying but since they sold almost all those players that was when PSG were able to come back to there normal performance, so perhaps PSG doesn't need too many players but what they just need is few players that can add to their improvement.

PSG thought that expensive players could give them the Champions League but hopefully, they have learned the lesson that is why they had to let many of these players leave. They are now focused on buying cheaper and younger players. Keeping many superstars in a team will cause personality clashes that could even divide the players among various cartels led by each of these influential players. There was always disagreement between Mbappé and Neymar and this led to so much distraction.

PSG is the most productive team in Ligue 1. They have dominated Ligue 1 and no one will doubt their performance. facing Lens, I don't think it will be difficult for PSG to win. this season they are already leading in the standings and Nice will not be able to catch PSG either.
If Lens could come up with a strategy that stemmed the aggressiveness of PSG's attackers, maybe the result would be different. but it won't be easy. PSG always appears strong, and Lens may have to think about how to make plays with strong defense.

PSG is the most successful team currently in the Ligue One because they have the biggest budget. Before now clubs like Monaco were outstanding but with a limited budget, they could not achieve more like PSG. Lens is not a mediocre club based on the present performance. They have lost just one game in five matches and can be difficult to win. Playing in their home ground Stade Bollaert-Delelis with the support of the fans can also be a plus for them. However, PSG remains the favorite to win the game but a loss will give Nice the hope of catching up on the defending champions.

PSG starting their 2nd half of the season with a stong opponent, though I don’t see this to be much of a challenge for Luis and his boys. Lens are pretty good this season but still I believe PSG will get the win from this encounter. But for a safe bet, I think it’ll be preferable to double chance on PSG. Revel are quite different from Lens but PSG should be able to get their confidence into that fixture and get the desired 3 points to help them secure their top spot well.

Actually Lens started this season badly, they stayed for quite a long time in the relegation zone before they started getting positive results. They improved indeed but I could not call them strong since they still missing points in several competitions. In Ligue 1 they lost their last game by two goals against Nice. In French Cup they lost by penalties against Monaco and in Champions League, they got few points but they were able to move to Europa League at least.
I think PSG could win against them this week without a lot of problems if the players were fit. I know the beginning of the year is always tricky but seeing the 9 goals they scored in French Cup, I think they are ready to resume Ligue 1.

In the end, we also know that until now PSG has still not been able to maximize the resources they have and the depth of the squad which is still very luxurious until now and things like that still don't seem to be able to change because after all what is happening now we certainly understand that PSG cannot do much for their performance problems and cannot take into account themselves in big competitions like the Champions League so that in the end from each season that runs only Ligue 1 alone they can always master but not with others.
I think the management thinks too simply by wanting star players then they can rule but in the end being in a big competition is not that simple so PSG should know that they need to make some improvements not only in the player sector but in other sectors including their management.

How can you say that? My intention was for you to witness PSG's victorious acquisition of their first trophy, as it foreshadows their imminent triumph in yet another competition. PSG is also having the biggest chance to win the competition too. This was the main problem owned by the club and enrique has been successfully sorted it all. It's time for PSG to make its comeback again as soon as possible. I do believe that PSG will make it happen. Eventually, everything will fully return to the way it was before, it's just a matter of time.
PSG has been slowly but surely building the club to be even better than before and i do appreaciate that caused by PSG was always trying so hard to get UCL trophy.
The question is whether Enrique can do that in the first season? For Ligue 1 it's not a problem because it's a must but for the Champions League but it still can't be done easily and indeed talking about Champions League chances they have always been one of the favorite clubs to be in the Champions League final even to become champions there but all the results remain the same and the last 2 seasons they even floundered in the Round of 16 stage because of the difficulty of facing other favorite clubs namely Madrid and Manchester City.
Now for the round of 16 they have an easier path although still in the group phase they are in 2nd place just like previous seasons because for this season they will face the dark horse club Sociedad and surely they are favorites in this match but to be able to win in the end there must still be an effort from their players because there could be surprises that occur in this match.

This match will start the second half of the season for PSG in League 1, but unfortunately PSG has to start against a club that is quite strong when playing at home, while PSG's away match with Lens did not go smoothly, but maybe Luis Enrique's coaching will provide a different strategy. Maybe last season then Lens was a strong club in league 1 but this season Lens experienced a decline and was ranked 7th and struggled hard to be in the top 5. Even though it is a little doubtful, I still make PSG the favorite to win and I will bet on PSG winning or drawing because I am quite sure PSG will not let defeat break their winning streak so far.

PSG was able to beat Revel with a landslide score but the strengths of Revel and Lens are different and at least PSG is in better condition and has high confidence to be able to perform optimally and steal the full 3 points from Lens' home to continue to widen the gap with Nice and of course can sit comfortably at the top of the standings.

Nice aren’t a threat to PSG because I don’t see them matching PSG both in squad value and club’s value, PSG have had a very good history in winning the league title, whereas Nice are just a rising team trying to make a name for themselves, well I must commend Nice for their hard work and progress this season and if they continue with this pattern they could achieve the league trophy in few years to come.

PSG have sold enough players this season that they only signed Dembele from Barcelona. There were many other star players including Messi Neymar in PSG but in the new season we don't see any star player except Mbappe in this club. Last season PSG released defenders, released strikers but did not buy any players, maybe they will look to enrich their squad in the next transfer window. If the team plans for the next season, they will certainly give the utmost importance to every position from the team's defense to the strike.

If you add a lot of star players to your team, you also need a manager to manage this. Every good player can have big egos. He may want to score every goal himself. As long as this was the case, PSG was having problems. PSG looked like a good team, but they must have been having problems, and success did not come in that period. However, if we look at the squad, we saw a great team on paper. The PSG president at that time made the squad that I could not make in the Football Manager game.

It seems that you are missing a lot of information regarding PSG's transfer activities this season. I can tell you that PSG succeeded in bringing in 14 new players this season, 4 of which were free transfers, and 1 of which was a loan transfer. Randal Kolo Muani is the most expensive player to be brought in by PSG in the 2023-2024 season with a transfer value of €95m, followed by Manuel Ugarte and Ousmane Dembélé who are worth €60m and €50m respectively.

If you want to know more about PSG's transfer activities in the 2023-2024 season, then you should definitely read this one:

https://www.transfermarkt.com/paris-saint-germain/transferrekorde/verein/583/saison_id/2023

If the team plans for the next season, they will certainly give the utmost importance to every position from the team's defense to the strike. Of course PSG will appoint good quality players to their club by giving utmost importance to each position. PSG are expected to strengthen every position next season due to their club's current manager. Luis Enrique is a very experienced manager and he will definitely want the best of the team so he will definitely appoint quality players in every position of the team.
Their squad is complete, it's just that some of PSG's signings don't match what was expected. Their squad depth is not that great even though PSG have spent hundreds of millions of dollars on players this season.

I wonder why PSG can't get good results like Real Madrid. Because after all, Real Madrid also has many star players in its squad but yes, Real Madrid still managed to get good results . In the past, the Real Madrid squad was entirely stars such as Raul, Kaka, Figo, Carlos, Zidane and many more but not only limited to that. Because ya, after all, Real Madrid is at least still a destination for star players until now but ya, Real Madrid still consistently gets good results also in the Champion League. Therefore, it looks like PSG certainly still has to take a long time to build a star squad and get success like Real Madrid . Because after all, basically PSG has good finances and of course PSG is able to bring in star players but unfortunately, so far PSG is still not successful enough, especially in the Champions League.

Choosing to leave his old team for a team like Real Madrid could indeed be the right choice for a player like Mbappe, but in this case we also have to see whether Real Madrid itself is willing to buy Mbappe for a price that is not cheap. Because a player like Mbappe is still quite expensive, so any team must really consider the cost issue if they want to take Mbappe from PSG. Apart from that, I also don't know whether Mbappe himself still wants to stay at PSG or will choose to leave there for another team now.

PSG's weakness is an attraction that cannot be fully resolved because it is not easy to be in a situation where every season you are only motivated by chasing the Ligue 1 title or other domestic titles and that is the reason PSG always lags behind other top European clubs. They only rule in France and when they leave their comfort zone they are no doubt like prey that must be hunted by other great predators.

Using a new strategy in a match such as against a weak Revel team in the Coupe De France competition is not wrong, but of course the results will be different when this strategy is applied against a team that is quite strong or equal. So I think it's not a matter of strategy but more about having fun because a typical big team like PSG only looks great when it's like this and when playing against other strong teams in Ligue 1 they aren't necessarily able to do that.

In fact, PSG is still capable, but with his first season as coach, Luis Enrique is expected to be the solution to PSG's current target of winning the Champions League. Of course, this cannot be done quickly and PSG must keep Luis Enrique longer so that everything is connected. We know that Luis Enrique is an experienced coach and his current challenge is to be able to bring PSG to win the Ligue 1 title again and also reach a higher stage in the Champions League. Moreover, if he can bring PSG the Champions League title for the first time, Luis Enrique will definitely get a contract renewal with an increased salary.

I think this time PSG is not really demanding that there are star players in their squad, except for Mbappe, they have to survive whatever happens. We know that it will not be easy for PSG to run without Mbappe and with the current squad of players this could be the answer that will give hope for the future. I'm not that optimistic but give them enough time so they can prove it this season and next season.

Lyon has shown improvement in recent weeks. So I think the change of authority is actually working for them. The way they have performed so far in this season, it has been really bad. But the last 3 matches have been good for them and they were able to win all three out of the last three matches. So of course we have to give them credit. The good thing is they are already out of the relegation zone. It is going to be hard for them to improve the standing on the table. And it is definitely going to be a lot harder for them to actually finish in a competitive position like in the top six or something. But I think they will be able to stay out of the relegation zone.
Lyon this season is not performing well, starting the season badly and even being at the bottom of the standings, which is their worst peak this season. However, slowly they are starting to recover and are now getting further away from the relegation zone. This was a commendable effort for the squad to see. It is true that returning to competing at the top is difficult for Lyon this season, but at least they can get up and fight to be in the top 10 of the standings this season.

Because for me Lyon was a Ligue 1 powerhouse from 2000-12. Before Qatar came for psg. I remember the Lyon squad when they had Juninho, tiago, benzema, govou, coupet, Toulalan, erin abidal which was a very strong team. But watching Lyon now is really sad, don't forget Lyon has one of the best youth academies in Europe, they produced so many football talents at that time. I hope they will recover soon.
For those who remember Lyon's golden age, this season's trip hits differently. Lyon's current struggles are hard to reconcile with their past Ligue 1 dominance. I remember when they ruled France and the Champions League. They fell from those heights to a near-relegation scare this season, and it seems like watching an aging champion struggle to keep up. Their recent resurgence, even if its merely a top-10 fight, gives me optimism. Any team striving to restore its past glory needs that fighting spirit, which they've displayed.

Football is unpredictable, and Lyon's position reflects that. The history of Lyon makes their decline more tragic than PSG, Monaco, and Marseille's. Their academy, which produced Benzema and Juninho, is promising. As a supporter, I hope they return to the top of Ligue 1 and the European stage where they previously shined.

Last season PSG released defenders, released strikers but did not buy any players, maybe they will look to enrich their squad in the next transfer window. If the team plans for the next season, they will certainly give the utmost importance to every position from the team's defense to the strike. Of course PSG will appoint good quality players to their club by giving utmost importance to each position. PSG are expected to strengthen every position next season due to their club's current manager. Luis Enrique is a very experienced manager and he will definitely want the best of the team so he will definitely appoint quality players in every position of the team.

If you have been watching the French league for a long time you may know Lyon was not a weak team and unlike the current situation they have right now, Lyon was even racing for a title with other top teams in the league and they have the experience of playing in Champions League.
But currently, Lyon is far from what we knew from them and they are not in a good situation at all. Lyon was even close to getting relegated during this seasons
You are right as few seasons ago, Lyon was amongst the top contenders in the Ligue 1 and at some point it can be said that they were amongst the elite team in the french league because they had some good levels of consistency maintaining a spot around the top four team on the standing in a good while until now.

This season has been one of the few seasons Lyon has been in a poor shape and their performance is way below brilliance, I even have some doubts they will be able to secure a spot at the UCL next season by securing a spot at top four on the standing by the end of the season, in their most recent games they have been able to win about three games consecutively but then they are just a little above relegation, their next fixture is against Le Havre and I don't really know how well Le Havre will be able to put up a good fight since they will be playing from home so they can secure a point by the end of the game.
