Lyon were able to win three straight games after losing three straight games. The started the season very poorly but they ended the year with good results and if they can build on that they may make it to the Europa play offs. They can even qualify for the Europa league but they're going to work so much to get to that spot because teams like Lens, Strasbourg and Lille want those spots too.
In my honest opinion, I don't think Lyon will get to the top 3 to qualify for the champions league, even the Europa spot would require a miracle. They're currently just 2 points above the relegation zone so they're still a long way from safety, not to talk of European qualifications.
Lyon has earned more points in their last 3 matches than the rest of the season. They won 3 matches in a row putting them out of the relegation zone. But this should not be their position and situation considering their history as a club. They are one of the best clubs in France and have a good history. Them being in the relegation zone is not what was supposed to happen in the first place. Their next match is against Le Havre and if they can win it, it can get them 2-3 positions ahead and let them be clear of relegation fears right now.

Maybe I'm quite curious about Marseille's next journey because this team is still in 6th position and to reach a place like last season they have to be able to shift several teams above them. I mean their journey this time will not be easy but at least they are having a pretty good season and even though in their previous match they only drew against Montpellier but at least they still got 4 wins in the last 5 matches.

Lille dropping points and Brest is playing like surprise package mean things are in good shape and if they are able to have something positive from these three matches then surely it's going to be easy for them Strasbourg having three matches winning streak before break and Monaco and Lyon are also trying to give their best in rest of the season.

UCL begins next year, and we have a couple of days to make it to the new year, I can't wait to watch the top actions from these clubs. The UCL competition is easy for every club but facing a tough opponent will definitely make everything complicated. I know how fierce and prepared PSG have been struggling to be in shape but I guessed PSG boss, Luis Enrique will fill in the void and weaknesses left open by the club. Real Sociedad doesn't seem to be a threat to Paris Saint-Germain but we shouldn't underestimate any opponents because we never might know what's coming our way and there's presence of unexpected results in football.Also, fortunately not many strong competitor teams in Ligue 1, currently only Nice and Monaco which is close to PSG in terms of points. This is not so true but then it's not false either, the matches at Ligue 1 aren't very much competitive and would look not really difficult and moreover they are quite some good points away from the other teams behind them trying to get to the top to be able to displace them. So they have got some fair advantage at the Ligue 1 Focusing on the champions league alone because of the Fair advantage they have got in the Ligue 1 could turn against them in the long run because by the time they will be wanting to get back to focusing well on their domestic league them may be having too may gaps to cover up as some of these teams may have closed the gap too tight they may not be able to maintain good gap away from those team and any mistake may cost them the opportunity of defending the league title as they should have, so it will be best if they're able to maintain the balance and making sure they are not left behind in either of the leagues.

There's a big difference between PSG and Bayern Munich. PSG do dominating the league, but not completely dominating like Bayern Munich since Bayern Munich haven't lose since the last decade. PSG, as the strongest club in Ligue 1 is struggling in Champions League.

After the worst ever start now they are doing better things and having 3 matches winning streak with their win against Monaco is surely one of the best even now chances are high for them to end in middle of the league table, but this could be also good after having performance like this in first half of the season with in last 17 matches they have just 4 wins and 16 wins which are surely never been impressed performance from them but now look like things are at better level which will be help them for having good spot.In terms of quality, Lyon's team is not too bad this season, it's just that there are several problems in their team that made them slump at the start of the season.
