To be honest, I've already placed a bet here and I'm betting on Reims winning. There is no doubt in favoring Reims because they are still better than Strasbourg. The only thing that makes them quite strong is their defense and Strasbourg will probably have difficulty scoring more than 1 goal in this match. I believe Reims will not concede many goals and even if they fall behind first, of course they will still be able to make a comeback at the end. Well, Reims must win because Lens are starting to overtake them in the standings and they must do that in this match against Strasbourg.
Reims is currently winning in the first half of the game but both team are equal on possessions more like a balanced game except with the number of goals where a slight imbalance Could be found but then I think by the indications so far If remis slacks Strasbourg will most definitely get an
equalize

Reims is playing from home so they happen to be at more advantage than Strasbourg but then is not a guarantee they will win because their opponent is aswell striving to get three points to step up the table aswell, currently, Strasbourg is at the thirteenth position with fourteen points currently the first half just ended with Reims leading by two goals already so most likely thy have the chance to win this match if they are good enough to protect their goals till the match ends.

Today there is only one match in the French Ligue 1. Reims will play at home against Strasbourg. Reims are 5th in the French Ligue 1 with 20 points after the 13th week. They have lost their last two matches but one of them was against Paris Saint-Germain FC. On the other hand, Strasbourg are winless in their last 6 league games. There is no doubt that Reims are a better team than Strasbourg. But Strasbourg are not a bad team. Their coach is Patrick Vieira. And he has a lot of experience. I think we will see a very competitive match. Reims are close to winning. But I think both teams will score in this game.

Reims success scored first by Richardson in 10', and now they are leading 1-0, indeed it seems like Reims is better than Starsbourg. And tonight Reims will no have any difficulty to securing three points, as you said they must also be able to stay away from Lens who are currently threatening Reims position in the standings. I think in the second half the home team can also add another score, and maybe ended with score 2-0.

That's the problem, they are still not guaranteed and for a team that spends hundreds of millions every year, not being able to go up from a group stage would be suicide basically. They keep firing managers and then getting someone else but whoever is the person that decides on which manager to get, that's the problem. Is it the director of football, is it the boss, the owner or whatever I have no idea but whoever has this job, they are doing a terrible job. I have said this for years, and I will keep saying it for more years; getting Zidane to be their manager is more important than keeping Mbappe.

If you asked me would you get Zidane and lose Mbappe for PSG or would you keep Mbappe and not get Zidane, I would seriously say get Zidane and fire Mbappe on the spot. He would make PSG without Mbappe a better team than without Zidane but with Mbappe. That dude is an UCL master, he won literally three times in a row, how many people can say that in this age.
PSG owners, investors and fans of this club will be having a bad time this season in European competition especially as they see their team struggle against smaller teams like Newcastle, whom they’re supposed to win conveniently. This shows that the French League doesn’t have the quality to match some big Leagues and teams across Europe and it’s wuite worrisome that their champions, PSG are chickens outside. The blame should be on the lackadaisical attitude of the players when on he pitch of play, they play without the fighting spirit and that’s worrisome

Yes, they need a real experienced coach but with Enrique that’s quite some experience personnel they’ve got there. Well Yes, Zidane is another great option especially as it comes to grooming the young players, Mbappe is done with psg in his heart, they should just let him leave, with that funds, get an experienced coach and som quality youngsters who can perform under Zidane

In terms of experienced and managing one of the best players known for attacking in a particular season, you can make referrals to Luis Enrique who managed Barcelona and won the treble that year.
He is a quality manager and can handle a big club like Psg. They just need to make some quality signatures that will favour the plans they have for the future. Don't forget Luis Enrique managed Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar Junior as he guide them to win the Champions League finals against Juventus that year. He can do same for PSG just that they don't have that special players. They'll have to work as a team to achieve that success.

Holding back a player that has no plans of staying further is a big flaw. Kylian Mbappe has zeroed his mind towards leaving and he'll definitely leave at the next six months.

When you have a player like Mbappe on your team and all other teams have bad situations in hiring superstar players even if hiring a player like Mbappe is a dream for them you can have a much higher chance of winning the title in the league and imagine a coach like Enrique is working in this team. I think the chance for PSG to win the title is a hundred percent.

Matchday 6 against Dortmund is everything for PSG. I still think they have a good chance of winning and progressing to the last 16, considering the pressure Enrique is under. After all, he has a better squad than the other three teams in group F. However, the Spanish coach does not have enough time to build the squad according to his wishes this season. But I don't think that can be an excuse, and they have to maximize what they have.

PSG fate is in their own hands, and that is still a good thing. Unlike Manchester United in group A, they do not have to depend on the results of other teams. This life or death match will be a test of Enrique managerial abilities, but I remain confident that his experience can take PSG to the round of 16. Newcastle or Milan will have to settle for advancing to the Europa League playoffs.

I read in the local news that the VAR officials at the PSG vs Newcastle match had been sanctioned by UEFA. This is in response to a controversial decision which is considered detrimental to Newcastle.

We agree, victory in the Matchday 6 match at Signal Iduna Park, Borussia Dortmund's headquarters means everything for PSG. Likewise with the PSG coach, Luis Enrique. will be a high stakes battle for his reputation. at least, according to my personal version. At the very least, PSG must qualify for the round of 16. after that, if they lost against another strong team it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Now, let's try to trace PSG's match ahead of the meeting against Dortmund. where, PSG will host Nantes. This match should not be a big problem for Luis Enrique and his squad. unless Enrique doesn't want to take risks and tries to rotate some of his second tier players. so that the main squad that will compete in the group phase will appear in prime condition.

On the contrary, before Dortmund hosted PSG. they will play 3 quite tough matches, namely, against Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Leipzig. after that, Dortmund will welcome their opposing team at Signal Iduna Park. With these 3 crucial matches, at least Edin Terzic's squad will be quite depleted in their domestic league matches.
Now, we refer to the odds offered by bookmakers. For the time being, PSG is superior with odds @1.86, while Dortmund is @3.90.  Well, actually I don't want to speculate at this time. however, I just want to say that Paris Sain-Germain has a high probability of winning this match. after all, if Dotmund loses, they will still qualify for the next round.

There performance in the Champions league is not really poor but they deserve to have done more better considering the high level of tactical and experienced players that the club has but yet they are struggling to move to the next round in the champions league which is very bad and their fate to move to the next round of the competition is dependent on the outcome of their last group match against Borussia Dortmund on 13th December of which it isn't gonna be an easy match for PSG.

If peradventure PSG loses to Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle wins AC Milan then definitely PSG will be out of the champions league so they need at least a win against Borussia Dortmund who has already qualified for the round of 16 so they may not actually take their match against PSG too serious but this is football as sometimes clubs humiliate some other clubs in matches just to keep a record.

The League 1 trophy has become PSG's daily food from season to season, no one has surpassed PSG in terms of domination of winning the League 1 title as much as this team. The owner of PSG is not satisfied if they haven't tasted the Champions League trophy and for me it's also not complete if PSG hasn't won the award. The biggest in Europe, indeed winning the Champions League trophy is not as easy as winning the trophy in the domestic league because the Champions League is full of big clubs who have greater strength than PSG.
I'm also surprisingly even though PSG already has enough experience playing in the Champions League and has played there many times, but for some reason this team always experiences bad luck in the semi-final and doesn't manage to win the trophy even though in the previous seasons PSG had quality star players.
So far, no other team in League 1 has been able to match PSG's strength because financially the PSG team is above the average of other teams, so it's only natural that they really dominate.
At the start of this season there seemed to be a little competition because the PSG team was inconsistent and after many changes their performance dropped a little so that the Nice and Monaco teams could compete on points, but not now because now the PSG team is performing much better, they just need to Just maintain consistency and I think this season is still the same as the previous season, there is no significant competition to prevent PSG from retaining the title.

But, when it comes about the Champions League trophy, at least you can also compare and or consider PSG with Bayern Munich. Because yes, the reality is that Bayern Munich has dominated the Bundesliga for more than a decade, but in fact, it is not always easy for Bayern Munich to get the Champions League trophy . So yes, considering that at least PSG is still in development, and it is clear that it will still not be easy for PSG to get the Champions League trophy. Therefore, I think as long as PSG can still dominate Ligue 1 well every season, I think that is good for PSG. Because yes, as time goes by, of course PSG will also get better for the results obtained in the Champions League in the future.

You are right and the Lyon's only chance will be in the winter when they can make some changes in the team and maybe even they should change their coach for another time but Lyon will definitely need to hire some other and better players to improve the team otherwise they can have no hope for the rest of the season because far there were disappointing in the French League.
Yes, but it seems that if Lyon has to recruit new players, the club will have to get more or less players because there are so many that have to be replaced, such as the current striker who is very weak without being able to score goals in every game and also defenders who have high quality because we can see The current defender is very bad always failing to secure Lyon's defense.
It will take a lot of money to be able to get lots of new players but the problem now is whether Lyon can afford to spend large amounts of money while Lyon's finances are currently in a slightly declining state.
If you don't have a lot of money to bring in new players, perhaps the Lyon coach should be able to look for other alternatives, such as bringing in several defenders and bringing in 1 striker player which is enough to try to avoid relegation.
If a team doesn't have any money at all, then there is no way that they could get anyone decent. I mean if Lyon wants to get someone during this winter break and they do not have the money for it then how could they end up doing anything about it, we all know that they are going to end up losing one way or another, it should be pretty obvious that they are going to end up losing.

We should realize that we are not going to end up winning anything this way, so they should change something else. Maybe tactics need to change, maybe they should focus a lot more on park the bus method, that way they could at least get some ties against other teams, and 1 point is better than zero, this would allow them to maybe stay at the league.

I don't agree totally but with regards to finance no doubts PSG has got a very good financial strength than other teams in the Ligue one this season but I don't see them to be the best without a matching strength in the Ligue 1 this season because if they are that good they should duplicate same in the UCL.

For me been a champion only in your domestic league is not satisfactory enough because come to think of it , if PSG wins the Ligue 1 this season, it will look like a normal thing and nobody really cares but if they take the victory outside the Ligue 1 they will not only get the attention but will by extension bring attention to Ligue 1 one. Secondly Nice is aswell doing really great this season, they were once at the top of the table before PSG struggled and displaced them, Nice doesn't have any star player who is well known but still they are doing this well so imagine what they would do if they had the same capacity as PSG so I don't think PSG is still the best for now.

PSG faced difficult qualify to 16 round on Champion League, Luis Henrique have questionable with his reputation after playing 5 matches on group stage still can't bring PSG qualifying to next round. Left one match and PSG must win if want get existing in Champion League this season and most disappointed for the first time seems PSG can't qualify from group stage.
PSG only have better performance back in the Ligue 1 and their biggest dream this season was to win the champions league but then it looks like this dream may elude them again this season because they are putting up a really poor performance that doesn't look like one that will get them the UCL.

I will not be disappointed with PSG performance because even though it ended in draw, it is much better than losing without getting points, but I regret seeing Lens performance, which was beaten big team from EPL with big score.
I'm already dissapointed with PSG performance, they really have to  belt up because that's the only solid path to grow this season. There are leagues that are weigh below the standards of EPL and such leagues only require audience to boost the performance of the playes. Ligue One seems to be very unserious to me because there's absolutely nothing so interesting abut the league, only PSG becomes the only elite clubs there. Paris Saint Germain have top targets this season and winning the Ligue One is among despite their hunger tastes for the UEFA Champions League trophy this season.
Why is Ligue 1 not attractive to some people? Because the competition there is not as competitive as other leagues. Paris Saint Germain are the only club who have everything to ease their way to becoming champions here.

Yes the Lens match result was something that surprised me, they lost 6 goals without reply to Arsenal. I didn't imagine they would concede that easily, even though before that they were the 2nd club after Arsenal who conceded the least goals. It was really disappointing. and now they have to fight more to get out of the group stage and even then rely on PSV.

yeah..  PSG look like a different team when they play in Champions League. It seems like PSG is facing some challenges in maintaining consistent performance across different competitions. Despite having a strong squad and good depth, they have encountered difficulties, and the group stage exit become a possibility as they face a crucial match against Dortmund. The team's overall form against Newcastle raises concerns, particularly the lack of support for Mbappe from his teammates.

On the other hand, PSG's performance in Ligue is provenly so dominant. PSG might adopt different playing styles for different competitions. In Ligue 1, they might prioritize attacking dominance and scoring goals, leading to high-scoring victories. They are familiar to Ligue 1 teams' capabilities and tactics. I think they are more motivated to keep their dignity in Ligue 1 by proving their ability to win the league without Messi.
PSG without the vital players, it affects them a little bit but not entirely because the players are catching up and winning matches for the purpose to gain three points. Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue One, they're streak winning except for a single defeat which was against Nice in round match five. Luis Enrique have reinforce his strategy and I would proudly say PSG will win Le Havre this weekend. Luis Enrique will not be bother about such fixtures, what he's worry about is for his team to maintain consistent performance in matches and also following up the competitive race for Ligue One trophy this season.

I think that's true, PSG has two different performances between Ligue 1 and the European Champions League. On paper they should be able to progress smoothly, considering that Enrique has quite good squad depth. However, it is quite difficult to explain what they really need apart from luck, even now Enrique squad is having difficulty getting through the group phase, so they are required to try in the life and death match against Dortmund on matchday 6. PSG failed, to get their revenge against Newcastle yesterday.

In the first leg, PSG managed to beat Dortmund, but when I saw their game against Newcastle yesterday, I had a little doubt about Mbappe and his colleagues. However, keeping in mind the importance of this match, PSG will try desperately to secure 3 points. Because if they draw, Newcastle will get an advantage here, but with the condition that they have to beat Milan first. I think it's important to wait to see who can actually secure another slot in group F, before we look further ahead about PSG future.

What PSG has achieved so far sometimes makes Ligue 1 less interesting to follow because it is almost predictable which club will be the champion, even though at the start of the season the club did not immediately lead the standings, but at the end of the season the club ultimately became the champion, of course never having won the Champions League will make PSG an ordinary team in Europe competitions and seeing how the PSG owner spends money to make his club a champion is fantastic but unfortunately, it hasn't produced results, and the PSG owner should change their strategy instead of just continuing to buy expensive players to open up opportunities champion in the Champions League but by building a team from the scratch, as Manchester City entrusted Pep Guardiola to build City so that they could eventually become champions of the champions league, without changes in strategy it will be difficult for PSG to become champions in this most prestigious competition.

Since the current owners of Paris Saint Germaine took the ownership of the ownership of the club in 2011 they've spent more money to sign footballers more than any other club in the French Ligue 1. The president of QSI(the sports group that owns the club) Nasser Al-Khelaïfi is one man that believes that the more money they invests in the club, the better chances of improving the quality of the club and that's why they've won the French Ligue 1 title in 9 of the past 11 seasons but unfortunately, they've not been able to replicate same victories in the UEFA Champions League competition. Considering the quality of players in the current squad, I don't even think their dominance in the league is gonna end anytime soon.

Paris Saint Germaine started the season on a bad note as they dropped points in games they were expected to win and that I think was caused by the current managers little experience about the French league and that's why since he understood the league better and the best approach that'll give them the needed results, PSG has been on the rampage and thrashing almost every team they meet in the league and I have no doubt that they're gonna pick maximum three points in their next league game as well.

Money is all what made PSG become the club they are today. If you know that the five next best teams combined couldn't afford a player like Mbappe, I think that is a strong sign it is all about money. Which team in the world could have Mbappe, Messi and Neymar at the same time without going broke if they don't win big titles? This is ridiculous and it makes a league not better, but worse in my opinion. Having this one superpower in a league that otherwise is rather average isn't a compelling reason to follow that league. It is fun to watch those players play in the same team, but only when it's Champions League time. If they win a game against Strasbourg 9-0, it isn't actually impressive in my opinion.

I share your PSG dissatisfaction. Though they lead Ligue 1, they seem to be on autopilot. You'd expect more fire from a team with their financial clout and talent, especially in a league less competitive than EPL. Ligue 1 isnt interesting due of the absence of competition and PSG's lack of challenge.

They may be constructing a team from scratch under Enrique, but the results are disappointing. Their present form makes Champions League dreams appear unlikely. Im not expecting them to advance past the quarterfinals or win the trophy. They should step up and show some serious ambition in Ligue 1 and Europe.
