Yes, I also agree with this. The Ligue 1 trophy should be the default win for PSG. The main target should be the Champions League trophy. But the way they perform in the Champions League trophy is just terrible. I am pretty sure that this time they are not even going to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League trophy. But wouldn't it be fair to say that PSG can't change how Ligue 1 is perceived in public unless they do win the Champions League? It is the only result that would receive massive public recognition from outside. If PSG wins Ligue 1 with more than 100 points, who really cares when they get knocked out in the quarterfinals of the Champions League? I think it is nothing they can really be blamed for and at the same time it is also close to impossible for them to dominate the Champions League as they don't have the weekly sparring partners like Manchester City has in England or Real Madrid has in Spain.

Having only been Lyon coach for about a month, it is reported that Fabio Grosso has been fired as of today. Paris Saint Germain are the strongest club here, they have everything that is superior to other clubs. It would be very strange if they couldn't defend their title, however I don't think there is a club that can match Paris Siant Germain in LIgue 1, because they have a lot of money. I have said before that Nice and Psg are teams that so far are strong candidates in the competition at the top of the standing because they are close on points to each other at the top of the standing. In the last 3 seasons we have seen that many changes have occurred in the top 4 and there are often surprises like what Lens did in the previous season. So this season, PSG has made big changes to their team, such as selling Neymar and the departure of Messi, which is one of the imbalances that has occurred but that can be corrected by Luis enrique.

I think that PSG returning to winning ways in a row will make them stronger and will not give Nice a chance to move their ranking. Mbappe played an important role in PSG revival in achieving consecutive wins. He has found his sharpness to score many goals in every match. Current standing, Nice remaining one point from PSG and both teams are strong candidate become the winner of Ligue 1 season 2023/24, AS Monaco could be third option favorite team but they have less consistent in last several matches and make gap six points from current top standings PSG. Seems very early for predicting about both teams PSG and Nice are favorite team will be candidate Ligue 1 winner because left many matches and all possibilities happen due still have Marseille, AS Monaco and Lille will make pressure for PSG on top standings.

I don't think anyone is going to be able to beat PSG for the lake title. They should be able to win and the other teams will probably not be able to cause too much trouble for them. Nice is still in the chase. But I wonder for how long they are going to be. Because let's be honest, no other club is actually at the same level of competition as PSG. But on the other hand, Nice is definitely a team that will face a lot of competition. So it is easier for PSG to continue performing well and keep winning compared to Nice. This PSG we see in this season is far better than the last season and their performance has been amazing so far in this season. The groups in the Champions League with PSG and the other teams and the one with Manchester United are highly interesting. The game against Newcastle was very important as well as now the risk is still there that Newcastle wins their game, PSG ties the game against Dortmund and ends up having the same number of points, but Newcastle would have an advantage over PSG because of their two games against each other. I expect some good action for matchday 6.
