It would be very funny if PSG sold Mbappe at a cheap price, Mbappe's previous value was more than 200 million how could he be left at a cheap price now? besides that do you think with Mbappe's contract extension by PSG they will not benefit? don't be too naive in this case because even if Mbappe's goal is to leave but with the previous contract extension it indicates that PSG does not want to lose their money. Even if in the end PSG will also not be too long in the fry from the price issue but still he will be one of the most expensive transfers in the end.
Yes, I agree that if they extend the contract, PSG will earn a large amount of money, PSG must earn their money, but that money will not come from the Club Madrid. Maybe Chelsea or Saudi Arabia are also willing to spend much money to get Mbappé. But Mbappé flatly refused because the decision belonged to him.
You should remember that Mbappé will not easily tie himself to the PSG club anymore. Now, the decision will belong to him. The most expensive transfer or the cheapest sale still needs time before we can answer.
That is not a parable because in the end at this time PSG has extended Mbappe's contract even though it is only a formality so there is no "if" in this case.
As for the future of Mbappe we will not be able to be that sure to determine his fate because in the end he determines himself. For the Arab club it will not be possible even when the transfer opened last summer, the 7-fold offer from the Arab club was flatly rejected and it will not be possible for Mbappe to leave with his current condition where he will still get more things at a big European club. And although several clubs are currently linked with Mbappe such as Liverpool and Chelsea but in the end everyone's interest clearly sees almost the same conclusion between Madrid and Mbappe because if we follow this discussion from when the domestic league is off and the transfer starts then Madrid is the strongest candidate.
I still think that his mind is at Real Madrid and to see that it is a prime position he could take is amazing. They have an amazing new young squad that is doing wonders even without him and they do not have a great superstar at the striker position neither. They have Joselu, which we all know is barely a mid table team striker so it is obvious that Real made the team ready for Mbappe if he wants to come there.

I believe that he is dreaming of the Real Madrid starting eleven every night with him at the striker instead and how many titles they could win. Just search youtube and see how many people tried that and you can see the results, people are going mad, winning 10 la liga in a row with such a squad because they are really that good. They are already good right now, would be insane with Mbappe at the front.

Lille finally succeeded in winning again in the away match against Le Havre and these additional 3 points made Lille even more enthusiastic about continuing to improve their position. Previously, Lille lost at home against Reims and it was an opportunity they missed to get points at home. However, this time Lille won again quite convincingly even though this match was also quite difficult for them. Meanwhile, Le Havre, who had never lost in their previous 4 matches, this time saw their good achievements come to a halt when they faced Lille. However, at least for a promoted team this season, Le Havre is still quite good, standing in the top 10.

2020-21 season champions Lille are not in good form this season. Their performance is very erratic. Out of 7 matches they have won only 3 matches. La havre was a weak opponent. However, the performance of the team has been quite stable in the last few matches. But the performance of La Havre players in today's match was very poor. They played defensively in home matches. I didn't see any attempt to attack too much from the La Havre players. In 90 minutes this team had a total of 5 shots and not one was on target. I expected a slightly better performance from La Havre in the home match. Lille's performance on the other hand was quite good. They managed to dominate the match. And if this performance continues, the Lille team will gradually be able to move up the table. The team is currently seventh in the points table.

PSG is paying more attention than they should to Mbappe. He is just a player and if they give him more attention than they should, there is the possibility for other players to be unhappy because of giving more attention to Mbappe than other palyer. However we saw this season in some games even without Mbappe, PSG could still win the games. Also, since his players are about to leave at the end of this season, maybe they should start seeking alternatives for this player now.

What kind of attention are you talking about these days? I have been reading sports news here and there and Mbappe isn't really in the news or is he? The fact that he is playing is due to his quality and not because anyone pays him more attention than others based on some mood. They should try to improve their game in almost all positions. Mbappe is doing quite well, but he can do better, too. But for him it is almost like he is waiting for the Champions League games all the time.
I haven't read in any of the European sports tabloids about Kylian Mbappe being singled out for criticisms or anything like that. The Frenchman international might not be at his best at the moment but we mustn't forget that he's been doing well since he returned to action this season. He's the top scorer in the French Ligue 1 and despite the fact that he was unable to help his team score against Clermont in their last weekend match, Mbappe still remain a huge asset for his PSG side. They have a UEFA Champions League game this week and I think he's gonna help his club secure all three points from that game

Well the thing is that Mbappe often is good in the big games. Whether it is the World Cup back then or any other big competition. This is why it is so bad that he plays in Ligue 1. He is a guy who should play in the Premier League in a best case where he has difficult games almost every weekend. Being the match winner in Ligue 1 doesn't mean too much.

I hope that he will find his way in a different league next season because that's where he belongs.

Mbappe does not need to prove himself. Because he has proven himself in many matches he has played before. I don't think Mbappe is as happy as he used to be in the French league. PSG has not strengthened its squad like other big teams and the entire burden falls on Mbappe's shoulders. This is something a football player wants, but not every match can handle it.

I think Mbappe's adventure with PSG should end now.

Monaco are maintaining their presence in the lead. They have been quite impressive so far. Maybe it is their time to shine in the Ligue 1 this season who knows.  Grin  It depends on what PSG will do throughout the season of course. They are really unpredictable these days. For example I saw a clear win against Clermont but it ended 0-0.

Coming back to Monaco - Marseille game it was a really competitive one for sure. Marseille got ahead 2 times but Monaco's dedication was fascinating.

I was really glad to see Balogun making a big improvement in his performance - 1 goal, 1 assist. You know how bad he was against Nice as he missed 2 penalties.  Sad

I expect the same thing in Mbappe career, if he moves to the EPL then Mbappe will form a new axis with Halaand, like the era of Ronaldo and Messi in La Liga. The competition between the two in one competition will become a topic of comparison, who is better than the two. However, we all know that Madrid is number one to get his signature, It seems like Mbappe chances of moving to the EPL are very small, last summer Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man United were reportedly interested in recruiting him.

It is difficult to imagine PSG performance if Mbappe left them, even though they will still dominate Ligue 1, it will be very difficult for them to win the European Champions League. I think this speculation will be answered next season, when the transfer market opens and Mbappe will decide his fate.

Lille definitely pressed from the start because as I said they just lost points against Reims and that's what makes them have more motivation against a weak team like Le Havre so they have to target 3 points in that match. However, Le Havre faced unlucky luck, who even hosted this match and failed to deliver a win for their fans.
Lille is better than Le Havre so Their victory is expected even if they play away. Seeing Le Havre sitting in the 10th place after 7 rounds is considered as a good sign for them. At the opposite, Lille is out from European competitions spots for the moment.

I also want Le Havre to stay in Ligue 1 this season and indeed they are not a team that can be underestimated because they have beaten quite strong teams like Lorient or even held teams like Lyon and Rennes to draws before.
I am afraid Lyon will have a very hard season and they risk to be relegated if they continue like that. That's the worst statistics I am aware of for Lyon since long time. Not a single victory after 7 matches, scoring 3 goals and receiving 13! What a shame Lips sealed

Le havre has been thrased by lille. Le havre could do nothing against lille and it has been represented by the stats from that match. Lille was always pressing havre since the game start. It surprises me how havre was under pressure by lille.
As far as i remember that if havre can also be considered as a team with consistent performance this season but havre was just humiliating it.

The newly promoted club like havre has been showing impressive performance since the first week which is good. It was also signalling if the newly promoted club can't be underrated this time.
I hope that havre will stay even longer in top 10. Havre deserves it caused by the club is too consistent as a new team in league 1.

I share your disappointment. Who would have believed PSG, with their star-studded lineup, would lose to an inferior team? I am astonished. Enrique's displeasure is palpable. Having so much talent and not getting full points? It's like owning a gold mine with no gold

Their excursion to St. James' Park is precarious in my book. I wouldn't be surprised if PSG shares points again or loses. Their present play is far from what we anticipate from a team of their calibre, which is saying something. The fear of another loss is looming over their next game. If they can't win now, when?
St. Petersburg Stadium James Parak will be filled with fans to celebrate the return of their beloved club to the European Champions League after being absent for the last two decades. I agree with the draw that you say, considering that PSG has had mixed performance in Ligue 1, while Newcastle has shown very significant improvement in the Premier League. The depth of Luis Enrique squad will be tested this time, and his wealth of experience in the UCL can hopefully bring victory to PSG.

Newcastle is in a positive trend and is unbeaten in the last five matches, their best achievement is beating Man City in those five matches. Enrique should put more thought into containing Newcastle, especially when PSG acts as a guest.

We focus so much on one player that we forget that they are a club that has many players in it. Yes, it's natural that when a club has a player who is labeled a "star" then our focus will be shifted to just one player.
Paris Saint Germain's situation is not fine, I will not blame Mbappe, but indeed this situation was created because they took care of this one player too much. The privilege they gave him at the start gave them a headache in the end. That's how we are when a club has good finances, but they can't utilize them.
It would be very difficult to shift attention from a star player in a team, especially when he's the one mostly getting the goals for them, however i get your point because PSG have lots of good players in the club and should be making use of them as well instead of depending on only Mbappé cause there would be a point when it would affect them, for instance when Mbappé decides to leave or is injured, they ought to master the act of performing better without always dependent on Mbappé like they did against Marseille.

The team is good, the squad is balanced but what i think is that they should work on being too dependent on Mbappé even though he's the star player for the team, however Mbappé is still very important for the team and is also needed to help them perform better this season.
No matter how good a player is, eventually sooner or later they will leave, I am reminded of the words "no player is bigger than the club", and what is happening to Paris Saint Germain at the moment is that it seems that their players are bigger than the club, in this case none other than Mbappe. Now will they remain in this situation? I think there must be firmness from management not to focus too much on one player alone.
As you said, they have many good players in the club. I worry if other players start to feel something uncomfortable when they see their teammates being done more special than them. Because new problems will definitely come.

Mbappe is PSG's burden. It is true that he is a player who has extraordinary talent, but the issues he has developed since the start of this season will have an impact on all players. I agree with you, PSG is too busy with the Mbappe problem so their basic goals are forgotten, I'm sure that when Mbappe leaves PSG will play better and more solidly, the coach will find it easier to implement strategies.
PSG's current situation is not because they are burdened by Mbappe's future, which in my opinion has no influence on the team's main target in every match.
Mbappe is an important player in the PSG squad and Mbappe is the main target player for other big clubs because of his abilities. In the match against Clermont Foot, Mbappe got good marks. I suspect the draw against a weak Clermont Foot team was part of Luis Enrique's plan to prepare his team to focus on facing Newcastle in the Champions League.

If I consider PSG's performance when with Mbappe and without Mbappe, at least PSG got better with Mbappe. Therefore, PSG still really needs Mbappe because Mbappe is also still very productive because Mbappe is still young and also has great potential. So yes, if for example Mbappe is really a burden for his problems, then of course PSG will be ready to sell him, but that is not the case. Anyway, PSG really still needs Mbappe and even though Mbappe will leave, but I'm sure PSG will still try to keep him, because Mbappe is really important to improve PSG's performance and quality.

We can say that it was quite a disappointing performance for PSG, how could 10 shots on target but not one of them was a goal, how inconsistent their attack was which could play well but instead was very poor in finishing when facing the weakest team this season.
Clermont being able to get a point when facing PSG was certainly beyond their expectations even though it was only one point, and PSG had wasted the opportunity to have the same points as Monaco.
Of course, the draw results is very disappointing, many bettors lost in that match. PSG they couldn't take advantage of the opportunity to get full points, Enrique also probably seemed very frustrated with having a great squad but not being able to win against a weak team. In next few days PSG will visit to ST. James' Park, I wouldn't be surprised if they lose or can only share the points in that game.

They missed the chance to get full points in this match. They were not unable to create opportunities, but none of the opportunities they created ended in a goal. it is unfortunate that they have to lose points again with a fairly weak opponent.
I don't understand this club, with their financial strength they still can't show anything extraordinary, instead they get a lot of problems that take turns, whether it's between coaches and players, players and players or even with their own supporters.

Thanks to them by not being able to dominate this year French Ligue 1 this league is becoming ever more interesting. There are quite some teams fighting for the title during this year and I know for sure with the performances of Paris this will continue to stay the same, sure Paris sometime can fire up a good game like the one against Lyon but they are not being at all consistent and this means that most likely we will continue to see a more beautiful league this year compared to the recent ones.

If we add that Paris will also fight in the Champions League chances are even higher for them not to be able to win this year title here in France.I would bet on Monaco to win the league as I am sure the odds would be really high for them this year.
It's a good situation for other clubs to take advantage of, but the problem is whether they can do it or not? For now perhaps Monaco is the club that stands out the most, their play is good and they have good goal productivity. But will they also be able to maintain this good game until the end of the season to win the title from Paris Saint Germain? That is something that cannot be ascertained, because I see that almost all clubs in Ligue 1 do not have consistent performances from start to finish.

After Luis Enrique took charge of PSG, we thought that Luis Enrique would lead this team to a much better position, but we do not see much improvement in this team after he took over. PSG have played seven matches so far in Ligue 1 where they have won just three matches. Their figures should have won five matches here instead of three. Four other teams in Ligue 1 are in a better position than PSG are now. Although PSG has only two points difference with the first team in the points table, but if the top four teams do regularly and PSG do well in their next matches, PSG has the possibility to go back to the first position in the points table.
If they continue to perform like this, they will never win the league title this season.
The PSG team was too busy with the Mbappe problem so they forgot a lot of things and what happened this season was quite bad for the PSG team, I saw several of the PSG team's matches and in my opinion there was no good teamwork in Luis Enrique's squad and even at the end Last week they couldn't win against the team at the bottom of the standings, this was quite embarrassing.
It is clear that if PSG does not improve completely then it is very likely that they will not win any titles this season and currently there are several Ligue 1 teams that are starting to get better, making it possible for there to be fierce competition in the race for the title.
The club has to manage everything well, if the club forgets about Mbappe's performance, then nothing good can be expected from that management. Mbappe is just a player, if he leaves another player will have to replace him but PSG cannot think that Mbappe is gone and their club is finished.  PSG without Mbappe must move on so team issues cannot be forgotten over a player's personal problems.

The strategy that Luis Enrique has adopted from Barcelona or the success he has achieved for Barcelona, but he is not able to prove himself as PSG manager. Some of the matches seem to have several flaws in his plan here.
To change this performance of PSG, the manager and the players must work hard, only then can anything be expected from this team.
The management of Paris Saint Germaine did not spend all the money the spent in the summer to sign quality and world class players for them to be playing out a goalless draw against a team like Clermont and that's why majority of the club's fans weren't having it with their French Ligue 1 result against Clermont last weekend.
Luis Enrique I think isn't doing enough for the French champions at the moment and needs to significantly improve the performance of his team or face being sacked from his job as the manager of the club before the end of the season.
