I realized that the severe bad luck will always hit us at some point so we should always learn to stop especially if we are on the influence of confidence boost from our winning streak. It’s suck but in the end I didn’t lose my original bankroll.
After a win, it is necessary not to rush back in. The same goes with a loss; never make the mistake of chasing it. Getting greedy after a winning streak is almost an inevitable feeling to have, but it must be controlled, as you must quickly remind yourself that losing is not impossible even though it seems like you have mastered winning.

It is not only gamblers who experience this; traders experience it too.

This is bad @OP, it means at least you have gambled for 10 months, but you lost it all in the next month.

OP didn’t say they gambled for 10 months but mentioned gambling $10 to $50 per month. At one point, they hit big, but due to a lack of patience, they started chasing their losses. Based on experience, this is usually the main reason why we suddenly lose everything. We become too aggressive, thinking we can recover our losses because we’ve experienced a big win before. That pride kicks in, making us feel we can’t allow ourselves to lose, so we chase losses, hoping to win but most of the time, it ends in disaster.

@OP, this is a valuable learning experience for you. I hope you won’t repeat it, as many gamblers have gone through the same cycle but continue making the same mistakes over and over again.

Same experiences but I manage to end up on recovering all my losses with risky gambling. I’m winning few days until one day when I’m sick and gamble I lose all my profit so I become triggered and bet recklessly just to chase my loss. Luckily I manage to win back all my losses after a series of huge bet that I can’t afford to lose if I’m thinking straight.

Truly, if our mind is not in normal state due to different factor it’s to become triggered on our gambling and change the way we gamble because we don’t feel the risk anymore.

This why we should gamble only if we don’t have something that bothers our mind regardless of positive or negative thoughts.

When we learn from our mistakes it becomes a beneficial experience that will help us control our future bets. The problem you have was not bad luck but your inability to control your emotions in the cause of gambling. You shouldn't have been overconfident in a game that is highly determined by luck. Your overconfidence will not change anything. Chasing losses also results in this kind of loss. That is why I usually withdraw my wins and never exceed my gambling budget. No matter how much I have won, my budget will remain the same because gambling is not predictable. There is no guarantee that increasing your bets will result in big wins.

For a game of luck we don't have to be that confident about what the next outcome would be but very a few gamblers who have enjoyed a period of winning streaks can remind themselves of this when they eventually start experiencing a U-turn with the results. At that instance you can't force the outcome but accept what's now happening with the result by quitting, giving yourself an instant break would help prevent more loss. Fortunate for you, you still had your bankroll intact at the end and I should believe now you'll know very well how to handle these things next time.

I always say, don't include your winnings for the next bankroll, you need to separate the winnings and the money you will use for gambling. If you won, use the money to treat yourself or invest it, don't accumulate to make your bankroll bigger and trying to earn more.

Because if you lose, you will regret, just like your story.

I decided to create this thread for sharing and at the same time to know how many user experience this so bad experience.

Been winning small amount from 10$ to 50$ for a month. I manage to get a total profit of 500$+ by just playing slowly then taking profit whenever I already have until one I decided to play small amount out of boredom just casually betting a minimum bet of 0.1$.

I never experienced a single win that will put my bankroll at profit even though I’m losing a lot until I become impatient and start doing bonus buy that result to more losses and bust all my profit because I keep chasing to win anything.

Good to hear if you'll realize quickly, unfortunately other innocent players who chooses to play all over again didn't come up on that. Most people who kept ignoring their self instinct, tend to face bad luck as losing streak definitely strikes on them. Losing such is more possible rather than winning huge amount, always expect that to happen.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
This happens occasionally to gamblers that think they want to make it all out in gambling and more especially take gambling as a source of income and this why it's best to walk away with your little wins rather than doubling it and end up loosing all at once.having winnings often can literally mean your close to addiction and if not stopped it'll definitely affect a while lot for you.
I am sure from gamblers from small winnings it is not satisfied for them so they prefer to double again even though in the end they lose everything and this is often experienced by gamblers because they when they start always start greedy.

I can't hide the fact that I've experienced myself in the past where small wins don't seem to be enough, if you want revenge it's useless because big wins in gambling only rely on luck so it's difficult to win.

Sometimes, greed ruins everything. If you’re consistently winning every month, even with small amounts, it shows your consistency. But a lack of discipline can ruin everything. Man, you need to change your approach. Maybe you have the skills to win, but your lack of self-control could become a major problem. It’ll only lead to frustration, and worse, it might even push you toward addiction.

To keep winning, you need to have control over both your mind and emotions. That’s the key to staying consistent. Also, be realistic, if you want to win big, then adjust your bankroll accordingly. Both should align. There’s no problem with risking more if you’re confident, but don’t rush things. Take it slow and steady.

I’m not winning monthly rather I experienced to win more often within a month then lose it all. It’s not happening to me on monthly basis rather a one time experience that’s why I created this thread as way to release my stress over what happened and easily move on.

This is my first experiencing this mistake probably due to the reason I stated on the OP about my overconfidence that gives me extra courage to chase my losses.

I knew my limitations now on scenario like this in the future.

it's not bad luck but rather playing with your bankroll. as a gambler, you need to know which the best time is to walk away. regardless of how lucky you tend to be in some days, you won't be lucky continuously. if you have made some profit, the best thing you can do for yourself is to walk out and come back to gamble another day. they said, he that fights and runs leaves to fight another day but he that thinks he must conquer all her opponent might end up being defeated before he thinks of retreating.

learning how to deal with greed and unnecessary confidence will help one avoid some of the losses we encounter in the process of gambling. you just have to accept that you are just lucky at the times you are winning and it's not that you are too experienced, having this kind of mindset helps you quick at certain point and not continue gambling as though it is a must that you will continue to win your most of your games.

Here it is important to set the realistic target of your gambling, when you think that you have a victory target from 3x capital in my opinion it is required to stop and return at a later time with the same initial capital, there you can stop the greedy feeling in MCH to manage gambling well .

Greed often arises because it continues to expect big and does not have a target stop to quit gambling, a lot of events that befall me as you experience it, but it is important to improve so that our benefits can be realized and not only become an empty victory.

Well, i know that almost happened to everyone who has more experiences in gambling. Basically, it is kind of greedy from ourself, because we think we can always win everytime by that way. So, the point is we should never think that gambling can give us more win to increase our bankroll even for that safe way. I ever think and experienced that way, but in the end it's done. The conclusion is we might responsibly for whatever we do, more over gambling is not a way to get a rich, be wise and keep our limitation.
