I am bumping my annual fuck Christmas thread 
Already getting annoyed at the Christmas advertisements that are cropping up everywhere.
I never understood why people decorate already in November. I mean some of the decorations aren't that bad, but seeing it everywhere so early and those advertisements are annoying. Where I come from, my family rarely decorated until a few days before Christmas (I was never part of this; I couldn't care less for decorations and Christmas). Although it is good because we have days off. Already getting annoyed at the Christmas advertisements that are cropping up everywhere.

I opted out of Christmas several years ago and feel all the better for it. It doesn't have to be compulsory.

Well we think alike on this matter. I don't really give a fuck. I don't even like the people that I live with (parents/family).
If I get a present I'll tell them to either return it or take it for themselves.

Christmas is about your family. It's not about gifts and these sorts of things.
Wrong. Such holidays only boost sales, that's what it's about to the people in charge. Family is useless. Theoretically you could have been my brother/sister it is all coincidence. Blood relatives are the same as just any other person to me.

I see what you're saying. It isn't too much of a bother to me, but it is a nice "break" from my routine. Besides, I actually have fun buying presents for my family. I see how it can get annoying or too intrusive, though.
So trips doubling in time when you just want to go out any buy some food doesn't bother you?
When I said buying presents for others was fun, I was mostly referring to the part where they open them, not the actual buying process. That can sometimes get tedious.

I prefer to go outside or just stay in my room for some hours.
