there are numerous threads on this forum which have predicted or claimed the death of bitcoin. The truth is that many predicted that Bitcoin will die after last weekends block halving. Where are we now?. Are we not dealing with the same Bitcoin?. And it seems like the Bitcoin price is stabilizing around 6000 usd. We all have to accept the fact that Bitcoin Bitcoin is now deeply rooted to the extend that no one will never uproot it.

If we make an error like that that will be very damaging for bitcoin itself, bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrencies and we don't want to lose that title ever. Bitcoin is in top form and it should continue to remain like this for the benefit of all us here the bitcoin users.

It isnt the first run through :p bitcoin dependably raise from the dead however now there is zero chance for bitcoin to bite the dust. the cost is developing and the quantity of clients as well and the general population who belive in it is higher ordinary. also, when you demonstrate all who is succesful in bitcoin you will see that you are wong in this point.

But we are seeing that now bitcoin is no more going to die, and now everyone have a demand for bitcoin and everyone want it for their online business and the price is increasing with a faster speed, and in the coming future when halving will occur you will see the price of bitcoin will double up.

I think that word word spreading bitcoin is they are jelous of bitcoin or dev from altcoin who want their coins get exposure here. All I can say is bitcoin kicking and never dies.
I agree with what is paralyzed how they can say dead bitcoin while still good and be a very good shape. We use and also we get with it now still outstanding and above 1 of all the rigidity of crypto.

This topic was created in 2016 and now it is 2018 and bitcoin is still alive!))))
Looks like this topic will last forever and bitcoin will never die. Just there are some good and bad times. It is normal.

We won't not be content with the heading bitcoin designers are taking use. However, it is sheltered to state that bitcoin is even remotely near dying. It won't occur, not with the market top we accomplished. The main issue of bitcoin for the time being is the answer for the square size scaling problem. This status of issues is as of now drawing in some nervousness and it is dangerous to try and discuss it. Other than that we are fine as a network

Well, this is a post two years ago, but now Bitcoin is still alive. Maybe this post will give me some inspirations. At the time Bitcoin's situation was more dangerous than it is now, but everything was gone.

Clueless!

Well...THANKFULLY...I seem to be DEAD WRONG on my view that mt. gox will pay back with fiat..thus being more of a disaster for BTC and downward price pressure, this

if various articles are correct and BTC from the mt. gox bankruptcy will be given out as BTC in 2019.

IMHO, that would mean 'more' folk would HODL on any BTC that gets returned, and will thus have less of an effect on driving BTC price into the dirt, etc, etc.

here is the link

https://cointelegraph.com/news/mt-gox-crypto-exchange-begins-civil-rehabilitation-proceedings-ends-bitcoin-sell-offs

Still, getting a few mixed messages on this, but the combo of no more BTC dumping until 2019 for USD and perhaps when BTC is moved, it is to the mt. gox

folk direct and even if mt. gox trustee does not sell the BTC, and the users get BTC and then sell it anyway, IMHO,  it would be likely in a more gradual manner. Again, I think most folk

would be 'thrilled' to get back BTC and would just go to HODL mode, but maybe that is just me....and my guess.

Anyway, as always, love to be wrong....now if I can just be wrong about this 'bear market' continuing into 2019...as well

Bitcoin was buried a million times and every time he woke up again and began to grow with even greater force. So it will be now. Nothing changes this.

Fluctuation on the market happens bit it doesn't mean that bitcoin will die. It will always be here preparing to be the world's currency and assets for some people. The bitcoin survived for how many years despite of many bashers who tried to put it down but it still stands and will grow more in the years to come. More people are accepting bitcoin especially the millenials who are more open-minded and sees that potential behind the bitcoin.

Bitcoin's death is impossible. it is true that prices of bitcoin have decreased for a long time. As soon as people's tendency, investment and this will increase bitcoin. Bitcoin prices will be at their highest level. It often keeps dumping.
Its impossible for bitcoin to die now, because bitcoin dont have competitors. The dropping of its price is because of its volatility, and its normal. For many years bitcoin having so much bad news spreading about it, but bitcoin always proved them wrong. Bitcoin is not going to die now, unless bitcoin got competitor in the future, bitcoin might die then.

Clueless!
I guess I'm just gonna ride into tulip land .if it comes to that...

if we have 1k BTC I still have enough to slink into my 66 year goal of full retire on my traditional stuff

at least, IF, that happens it will be hard to be beat up about it.thus I will make a t-shirt that says (again if it all goes tulips)

'crypto allowed me to retire 3 years early, bite me!'

HOPEFULLY, there will be no call for such t-shirts in mass.

Also, I have a theory that IF I did panic sell like a 12-year-old child, and put the remainder after taxes into traditional

edward jones and stocks...THEN, the correction will finally happen...and IMHO, at least 40% hit (deep recession due to Trump in Office)

So, I'd have the worst for both worlds 50% down in crypto and then another 40% down when/if I move to traditional investments

So, my 'supposed' theory is that EVERYTHING now, traditional stocks, crypto, whatever is a BUBBLE...it is gonna get ugly in all these areas.

Thus, IF BTC and crypto are a 'store of value' like gold ...if the traditional logic holds that BTC and crypto are that 'store of value' then

if traditional stocks go plunk..gold and crypto will at least go 'sideways' or up

chump or champ I guess we will see in my case...

sheesh

If Bitcoin is going to die, all our efforts to get Bitcoin will be a big problem for us. Also those that have large amounts of bitcoin well will be lost due to unexpected.
But I think Bitcoin is never lost because it is good for our economy, so Bitcoin currency is created or created correctly.
I think, Bitcoin will never disappear and that is for me.
