My advice to a newbie would be to take gambling as a form of entertainment and not a money-making opportunity. Always go in with a loss limit and do not chase your losses. In the long-run, the house always wins, so be prepared to lose some money in the long-run, realistically speaking.

Fun seeking ones are always the ones who's life doesn't get affected even if they lose if they win big it's just additional bonuses like one get's sometimes for their work.
Profit seeking ones are the ones who never really get a profit and always keep building up their profits and are also the ones who are the most addicted ones

The worst mistake people on the first spot do is that they consider gambling as a business where only they have to earn profit. In anticipation of getting good profits majority will end up losing a big amount to casinos or gambling sites. If played for entertainment you are sure of enjoyment and if you make money its a good add on for anyone.

At least you realized that gambling should not be done to have profit. I have the same logic too, i though I could win big time if I play gambling games since majority I seen are playing to win and have profit no matter how little it is.  But as I tried it, winning is not that easy, there is more time that we will get frustrated because we always lost.  So from that i have forgotten to play for profit instead, i gamble to relieve my self from all frustrations in my day job.  I use the budgeted money for entertainment to gambling instead of going out and spend my budget elsewhere.

Seems practical and possible for all the gamblers. It is kind of accepting what life gives to us. We can interchangeably target fun and profits from gambling as at least one will be possible at a time.

The more practical approach must be, we can start gambling by targeting profits, if things go as per our plan then there will be no need to change our target, we can enjoy the profits. But most of the time gambling will not go as per our expectation then we need to accept what it gives, yes just entertainment.

For me, when I was a newbie I started to gamble with the goal of profits. That was the worst mistake I had when I started gambling.
These games are not for profit! That is for sure. I though I can clean out the casinos using a martin gale system, but no. I lost more
money than I could afford to lose. So that was a harsh lesson I learned.

In playing gambling games or any type of games. I go for the both of them. Fun, well in every game you can experience this, and this is what I am looking for in my whole life to find fun and to experience it. Profit, for me profit is also like a learning in playing every game, you will learn. So I go for both. You just can't be on one of those things. You should become a neutral person. It is just like treat your friends, families and everyone as your enemy, and live by that then you can win this life. Be neutral.

I don't believe in gambling for fun. Give me a break, there is lots of things that can make us fun without risking too much money. Can't imagined people will just easily give up money in gambling just to have fun. And they will told me they only doing that for small amount? Ok then add those small amount loss and used in their entire gambling journey and see if the total amount is a joke.

We gambled because we want something in return. No way we just do gambling because only to have fun but to target a decent profit for a long run. Why gambled just to have fun if we can do both. While having fun, people must also target a profit.

I'm more of a fun seeking gamblers. I think I already passed the days that I'm a profit seeker. I started gambling at a very young age, and Yes I'm really greedy. I'm not contented on what I get, since I want more of it. Though, It lasted for I think 2-3 years until I almost lost my tuition fee. That was the turning point of my gambling career, from that day on I promised to myself that I will not play poker until I graduate college and have work. Leaving gambling at my peak, Is very very hard. But, I stick to my plan and learn how to control myself. Now, Am I successful with my intentions? Yes, from an addict gambler to Occasional Gambler *once-twice a month*. I set limitations for myself, Whenever I play or visit a casino I make sure that I only have enough money for playing and Set my mind that gambling is only for fun and entertainment. What is important to me is that I'm having fun and enjoying a my stay.

Advised to a newbie, Never engaged into this industry! if you can't control yourself. Greediness could cost you fortune. Gambling is not bad, but the results could be a factor to change someone's attitude and mentality. Which can cause to do uncertain things.

Last but not the least, Gamble with cautions. Don't spend beyond your financial capabilities.

Personal tip: Bring only enough money for playing, food and fare. Always think of this "I don't want to walk my way home" *applies if you are too far from the casino* 

At first I always see gambling as a source of entertainment then after I accumulated enough money I started gambling for profit on  the first week I was doing well winning a nice amount of bitcoins from playing slots always doubled or tripled my deposit to make me cashout then repeat the same thing on the next day. The next week things ended up pretty bad for me lost all my profits so i'm back from where I started. I stopped playing on casinos and moved to sports betting. My suggestion to a newbie that wants to gamble is always expect losses to come your way.

No bro actually profut seeking gamblers was there and they use to win always in Las Vegas casino and piker games. Some of them were killed and I don't think they live anyone. Now most of the people trying with greediness to make money. And some really go for fun. It will work according to your luck on that day or time.

The word gamble (game) mean fun, we play games to feel fun and enjoy it. Of course there are many online gambling websites with premium design and services. Suddenly most people thinks that gambling is easy and fast way of money making (profit source) but it isn't. By spending a little money we can have a fun but if we decide to make profit, we will lose usually. So of course fun seeking.....

Mostly I want to get entertained with gambling but by nature all of us love money so I also seek for some profit out of it. I only play with what I can afford to loss so basically I am just gambling for fun rather than being greedy for profit.

I purely gamble for fun, with the kind of gambling I do, it's kinda stupid to be doing it for profit.

There are gamblers that are doing it for profit and some of them are successful, just look at professional poker players or people who are into sportsbetting.

At first, gambling was very interesting to me. I had a dream to make good money through gambling. But, that was a mistake. Even though most people around me have the same opinion regarding gambling, no one can be rich from gambling, I never heard them. After couple years, something bad happened to me. I had a bunch of loans that I can't afford to pay it. At the end, my father willing to pay all of my loans and I left gambling for about 3 or 4 years. I came to gambling again after I knew bitcoin but with the different point of view. I don't try to get profit from gambling. I mean, I gamble just for fun. If I win then I was lucky but if I lost, nothing will hurt me!

i am fun seeking gamblers because i am not seeking for profit and i know i can not make big profit so i think i only playing gambling for fun. in gambling games, although i can win, my winning money is not big like other people because my bets amount is not big too so i think if i am win then i will considering that is just for my bonus. my suggestion to a newbie is better you playing gambling for fun than just for seeking for profit because you can not make big profit in gambling so you don't have to risk your money.

People do gambling to win bet not to lose their money. Beginging everyone play to win money but after realising the truth behind this gambling some people will go away from this gambling, and some people will play to get fun. Some more people are there they will play to get back their loss, but in this process, they will addict to this gambling.   

i won't refuse my first reason when i starting gamble it was for profit but indeed i have to realize that profit in gambling is hard to do so and that's why from now on everytime i did gamble i would consider it as for fun and never pushing myself to recover my losses everytime i lost because consider gamble for profit is not good for my life

I intend to gamble for entertainment and to pass the free time that I have.
But we can't deny the fact that we also want some profit .

I actually gamble just for fun, I don't see the benefit of gambling for profit. It's just because I believe that the chance of losing money in gambling is higher than winning. If you take gambling seriously or if you want to earn some cash, you'll always end up losing and won't enjoy it that much. The more money you lose, the more you are triggered to bet more.
